Absolutely stunning photography. I like the narration (and music) even better. My oldest border collie watches your video intently 2x/day. She follows the deer absolutely with a rubber bone in her mouth, dropping it every so often to bark as the deer move quickly. She is old with arthritis and cannot herd anymore, but she gets huge pleasure from your video --and so do I. Thank you so much for sharing it. Magnificent opus. Your film brightens our lives here in Vermont.
Thank you so much for the video... I saw a red deer about a month ago, very near Castlebar town, Islandeady lake ... he was probably coming from around Croagh Patrick or Nephin... who knows... the deer stop the world for me for a couple of minutes...I was lucky enough to stop the car at a nice distance, he cross the boreen, look at me into the eyes... no fear, no time... only nature... It was a big one, and he was alone... so near town, he was probably looking or food
Thanks for another stunning video. I found it very enjoyable and peaceful. You really have a knack for video and a narration that transports one into feeling like you are there experiencing in in real time. Am hoping that the bees are doing well after their move. Look forward to your next video
Great video. I really enjoyed it and some of the best video captures I have ever seen especially the very end. What a sunrise to show off a true champion of the meadow. ❤️
Out of the 3 well known species of deer in Ireland reds are the animals that people love the most, but in my mind don't have a patch on fallow nothing get the hair raised more than the bellow of a mature fallow Buck during the rutt, nice work
The last shot is pretty cool, to see how aware he is of his antlers. Makes me think of those dogs that get stuck in a door carrying a large stick horizontally.
It was all going really well until the point where you said it was unfortunate that they got hunted , I can clarify they taste delicious and many a family was raised on them and rabbits etc but you would never have to endure that kind of hardship would you
@@FionnODonoghue nice I'm not too far away in Newry love your channel, glad someone is covering and protecting this beautiful nature in a place we call home
😢 please don't fight, I wish. And here the deers, there is no damaged ego... Only in the human world, because humans have the "id". The last roar sounded like "AUM" to me, as in the The 'Pranava' (power) mantra.
They strip bark from trees, had hundreds of fruit trees destroyed by these fuckers, and there weren't many deer involved, ignored the meadow of grass and ringed each tree
Look im all for more of them, cause they are the tasty most nutritional meat on the island , your poo will smell like mountain grass after eating it 😂...
Would agree l, unfortunately with the state of our ecosystems it would actually be unfair to bring them in as it is now, hopefully one day iur wild areas will be good enough for them to be reintroduced !
Superb video, you obviously love your wildlife - I've just been lucky enough to have the first three weeks of October filming at my home in the New Forest for the Red and Fallow Rut - I've got so much footage to go through to edit now but I have some incredible shots - if you have five minutes, have a look and you'll see how lucky we are to live here - my page is Seaflyfisher but most of our films are on Paulas - Paulasheba100 - if you ever find yourself over here, give me a shout and come out with us - keep up the good work - Dale

Amazing minidoc
Thank you !
Amaizing ireland ❤
By any chance was this shot in cootehill in Cavan? The fallow deer spots look like places I've seen in dartry forest
Not the deer in dartry forest but look very like them alright :) the fallow deer were shot in cavan tho, 👌
I've found a pair of stag antlers in the forest in Co armagh are they valuable
It was all going really well until the point where you said it was unfortunate that they got hunted , I can clarify they taste delicious and many a family was raised on them and rabbits etc but you would never have to endure that kind of hardship would you
Wicklow mountains is also a great spot for deer
Been meaning to visit !
Sika have overtaken fallow in numbers. Especially on the east. Great video. People avoid this subject and the cull is so controversial for some reason
This is like a documentary
I love Irish accents :)
The thalo deer look like they have magic powers
Fionn what part of Ireland are you in?
Hi Lee, I'm a Cavan man myself however for this Video I was in Cavan and Kerry 👍 Thanks for watching

Thanks Lee appreciate that 👍 🙏
I love deer mostly the fallow deer but if we don’t kill the deer there will be to much of them and they will overpopulate
That red deer looked like a king and it looked like he knew it .
is this cavan?
Parts of it are shot in Cavan yes :) some others in Killarney, Kerry :)
😢 please don't fight, I wish.

I also do have a video of two red stags rutting . I can share it with you if you P.m me
Thank you :)
All
black deer is very beautiful ❤️🫶🤍
Fallow deer are not called stags they are called bucks.
They strip bark from trees, had hundreds of fruit trees destroyed by these fuckers, and there weren't many deer involved, ignored the meadow of grass and ringed each tree
It’s an awful shame you was shooting them with the wrong thing 😁should have being a gun not a camera 😂😂
Look im all for more of them, cause they are the tasty most nutritional meat on the island , your poo will smell like mountain grass after eating it 😂...
Ireland need wolfs
