TWO DIAMONDS BACK TO BACK AT A REAL DIAMOND MINE!!

  • Two Diamonds back to back digging at the crater of diamonds state park. I filled 12 buckets of diamonds ore out of the east drains last inside bend. Each diamond is uncut, both are white in color, each are exactly .42 carats! Nobody had ever found two diamonds exactly the same size on the same day according back to back. 5th generation diamond miner Shirley Strawn who’s found hundreds if not thousands of diamonds has never heard of anyone doing that. Miss Strawn told me she has never seen or heard of anyone to find two diamonds the same size on the same day at the diamond mine. Shirley wanted the story for her book she is writing. I was thrilled to set a new record!
    I hope you all enjoy the video.
    Thanks for the amazing support!

    Back in January 2017, I was in the East Drain looking for jasper for my grandson. A lady came up to me and said, "you don't want to dig here. This is just washout.". I stayed, found a few diamonds (tiny). I moved on to another spot and then found the same woman in my East Drain spot......LOL! I must have found her favorite spot. I was there Very early. Found lots of great stones and about 3 yellow diamonds. I plan on going back again this January. It was cold, but with all the rain....I found a few topside diamonds too. I brought most of my gravel home to search. I wonder if I can have the diamonds registered when I return? I wrote the dates down. When I got there the first day, a man showed me a lovely diamond about 3mm elongated. I love watching you work. Keep up the great work.

Great finds ,I use to go to the creator of Diamonds in Arkansas until I got cancer, but all I can do now is watch you lucky guys that still get to appreciate your life and getting outside. I've been fighting this cancer since 2016 and with a lot of praying I'm still on top on the dirt. Lol. But I'm hoping that one day I'll be able to get back at it. But until then I'll be watching you guys. Your my kind of treasure hunter a very hard working man and that shows good character in someone. I wish you all the luck in the world. And I'll be watching for your next great finds good luck in all you do in life and don't ever stop searching for the adventures in life. And take care and be safe. Josh Bartlet sent me:-) I've recently gotten interested in studying the various gems/semi-precious gems and stone that is used to make jewelry. Got a rock tumbler yesterday and already it's working up a batch of rocks but I have raw sapphires, rubies and aquamarines I want to process so hoping just to learn more around information on all the wonderful things God gives us in our environment:-)

      First of your videos I have watched. Was just in Arkansas and fell in love with the state and thinking about moving there. Did a little hounding in Hot Springs area but didn't have time to get to the crater. Enjoyed your expertise and experience. Would love to have a set of your classifies for shark tooth hunting in Florida. Keep hunting.

    My question is, what do you do with the diamonds after you weigh/ register them? I think a video on the process of selling the diamond to a broker (or whatever entity it may be) would be good information, goes for precious stones too, all of this is fascinating. Nice finds Sir.

    • @canadiangemstones7636
      @canadiangemstones7636 3 года назад

      You will not find anything suitable for selling. If you do not know what to do with a rough diamond, do not invest time or money into finding them.

      @@canadiangemstones7636 I asked more for the benefit of those not familiar with the gem/ diamond industry-- if they're interested in it there should be more helpful information out there than there is currently, and should be encouraged/ supported, not dissuaded.
      DMI has also said some great specimens have been found at the crater of diamonds apart from ones he's filmed finding (of which some are still plenty suitable for finishing and sale).
      I personally know a few brokers and lapidaries who buy and cut/ shape and finish rough diamonds and gemstones of various size and quality-- if they know what they're doing and are good at such, they can make just about anything into something nice that a customer may want (even if it's I2 or SI2 clarity quality).

      @ElektronT02 3 года назад +1

      @@canadiangemstones7636 many gem quality diamonds have been found and sold from the Crater for thousands of dollars. Just recently a 9+ carat was found. Every year multiple 3+ carat gem quality diamonds are registered.

    My fondest memory of the crater of diamonds was in 2004, my friend tried to play a trick on me, saying she lost my three year old son. He was so small, he fit under the five gallon bucket beside her, my son was giggling so hard...
