    If you are interested in the CForce 600, what else are you considering? Let's weigh some advantages/disadvantages in the comments section!

      What about the gas consumption

    • @kevinhazen7201
      @kevinhazen7201 4 года назад +1

      C-Force 600 has a small tank than my sportsman 570 so I have to be cautious on longer rides, but the amount of fuel consumed is very close to the Polaris. I can usually get 80-100 miles of trail riding in before I fill up. Yes that's not very precise, but depending on the trails, 2 up or single rider and pace that we ride there is a lot of variables.

    • @johnspringer3951
      @johnspringer3951 4 года назад

      My last machine was a 2017 Polaris sportsman 570 eps and I thought the power was great and it rode fine but Polaris had forgotten how to engineer things and there was quite a bit of problems I had with things like a clunking noise in the drivetrain, the exhaust muffler had to be replaced three times, half the time it wouldn't start because they have a small battery in the dumbest place you could imagine and the power steering would sometimes not work. So that being said I got rid of it a year ago and I'm looking forward to buying the new 2021 CF Moto 600 touring. I'm really impressed on the value and I like the video that you have made explaining it.
      By the way I asked you in a different video what cameras you are using only because I do not know much about the GoPro cameras. So I'm wondering what kind of camera and mount do you have on your helmet in this video?

      What do you think about Tracker Off-road atvs? We have them at Cabelas and curious how they compare

    • @GuardianGrove
      @GuardianGrove  3 года назад +2

      @@brettjudson8950 The Tracker line is basically a bunch of rebranded Textron/Arctic Cat machines. This would be comparable to the Alterra 570 or the Tracker 570. I find these newly designed CFMOTOs to be top notch. The CForce 600, the UForce 1000, the CForce 1000 and the new ZForce 950 all seemed to have really stepped up the quality. At the end of the day, if there were amazing deals on the Tracker machines, I would consider it. All of these have acceptable reliability in my opinion, and fun can be had on any.

    I bought my 2020 cf 600 Touring this past summer. I was hesitant as well, but did my homework, and have not regretted it. I have no good riding locally, but took it to Wayne National Forest in Ohio twice. I rode it hard, and it took everything I threw at it. It's a well built machine, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

    • @GuardianGrove
      @GuardianGrove  4 года назад +3

      I'm excited to get some more miles on it... It feels extremely well built for sure, and I have no doubt it will hold up. I just started it for the first time in a couple of months, in below 0 temperature, and it fired right up. I was impressed.

    I just picked up a 2021 600 today. I am 53 and have never even turned on an ATV before. I got a CFMOTO because of you and a couple other RUclips channels. I had them load the machine on the trailer for me and then got to unload it when I got home. I was a bit nervous but I popped my cherry. Now I can't wait to get on the trails. Keep the videos coming.

      Exact same position as you. I pick up my CForce 600 (not the 2up touring) in the morning. I'm seriously looking forward to it. I also really appreciate the reviews and info from the 'trailblazers' who have pulled the trigger on the pretty new brand of CFMOTO. I'm paying $7100 OTD, with high demand in my area. There was one left on the showroom floor. And yes, I got the orange. It looks fabulous!

    Christmas 2021. Bought a CF Moto 600 as my first atv. My unit came with a plow which I am using for my very large driveway. Used it today 2 January for our first snow fall in Chicago area. Happy with how it works so far. Of course I am getting used to it. Now power issues of any kind pushing 10 inches of wet snow. In a few weeks I will take it to my summer cottage outside Viroqua Wisconsin. Area is ravine after ravine in a hardwoods forest area. It should be a real test for any atv. So far it has been a great purchase.

    just bought the 2020 cforce 600 touring, rode my wifes polaris 2019 570 last year. spent three months checking various reviews and couldn`t find a reason not to take the chance on what most consider an off brand...I LOVE THIS THING! my wife won`t ride her 570 anymore and is looking at another 600 touring to replace it. I put 1400 miles on in about 40 days with my son riding the 570 and when i let him try my cforce he said i`m getting spoiled ha ha ha. rides like a cadillac and climbs obstacles like a goat. great ride, enjoyed your video and i`m jealous of the blinkers and mirrors since we don`t get those features stock in the US

    • @GuardianGrove
      @GuardianGrove  4 года назад

      I considered it an off-brand when I bought my first ZForce 500 also, and I felt like I was taking a chance as well. But the more I rode it, and the more I continued to learn about CFMOTO, I realized I was incorrect in thinking they are an "off-brand" and I felt comfortable with my decision. CFMOTO is a hugely popular company in the rest of the world, with some very legit partnerships, and are only getting started in North America... But they are expanding rapidly here too!

    • @GuardianGrove
      @GuardianGrove  4 года назад +1

      Your experience basically echoes mine. A few years ago my wife and I owned/rode 2 Polaris Sportsmans. Now we own 3 CFMOTOs. Also, I bought both of those Sportsmans new, and both required warranty work (the 570 needed a fair amount). None of my CFMOTOs have seen a shop for any reason at this point. All good! Congratulations and I hope you continue to enjoy it, along with the excellent family time!

    I just bought the 2021 CForce 1000 Overland here in northern Ontario (near North Bay). It was right after Dirt Trax did their review on it and I must say that AJ's comments were spot on, except for the winch; it's actually a 3500 lb not 3000. I'm totally impressed with CFMOTO so far. I am (was) a die hard Polaris guy, but the Overland and all its standard and solid features blew me away. In Canada it even comes with the passenger seat to ride two up, as well as all the storage compartments that replace the passenger seat when I'm riding alone. There isn't much out on RUclips yet on this new model but I will be doing a detailed review of my own once I get more time in the saddle. Hat's off as well to my local dealer (Leisure Cycle & Power Sports) in North Bay who are absolutely top shelf!

      Teryx is a great machine! I traded mine (T4) with tracks, for the ZForce 1000. It REALLY hurt, but the ZForce offered me a bit more of a sporty ride, and my family prefers riding 2/2 instead of all on the Teryx 4 so, the trade happened. I love the ZForce 1000 but still miss the Teryx. I appreciate the offer and I will check that spot out!

    For anyone considering this machine, I have to say that I am very impressed with mine. I have had nothing but Honda ATV’s over the last 15 years, with the most recent being a Rincon 680. This CForce 600 is not as snappy on the throttle as my Rincon, but that was not an expectation going in. Aside from that, I am extremely happy with my machine so far. If it holds up, as I expect it will, I might be totally sold on CF Moto in the future. I mainly bought this because I plan to get a UTV in the next year and I wanted to give CF a try before making that decision. If all continues to go well I will likely pick up a U Force 1000 in the future!

Kinda wish they would have made the front box and the power outlet on the same side for the 600. That way could be charging something and keep it in the box while riding. It’s a small thing not a big deal. These things are awesome though.

My only real flaw i noticed and its nothing mechanical though but was the hard seat . Im use to our Yamaha Grizzlies that have a nice plush seat compared to the cf moto seat . Our Yamahas dont require youy to use low range either which i find so much better than the other brands like you said recommend you to use low range. Only time i use low is for snow plowing.

    I've owned this same model for about a week as well. I'm well pleased and impressed, but I am checking into getting a clutch kit (weights and spring) for the primary. I'd like to change the engagement to be a little sooner, little lower rpm. I found a dude on ebay that stocks the stuff, so I'll probably do that after break in period. Great video!!

    • @GuardianGrove
      @GuardianGrove  4 года назад +2

      I haven't paid too much attention to the engagement point but I haven't noticed mine being too bad. I find the engagement to be pretty smooth but somewhat lacking in terms of power off the line. I would think that lowering the engagement point like you described would cause it to be even smoother but less power off the line due to lower rpms/further from peak power. I am not super informed about this stuff, admittedly! If you do it, let me know what you think about the changes!

      @@GuardianGrove I know what you mean about being further from the peak power spot in the RPM range, however since it seems to hang out at a constant rpm and do the acceleration through the continuous variation of ratio, I think it'll be an improvement, none the less. I really appreciated the video. I am looking to get my first ATV that will be for myself and wife. This machine has really caught my eye and think it is a great buy for the price point. The other machine I am looking at is the Sportsman 570 Touring Premium which is going to be around $2500 more by the time I add a winch. Hoping you could give me your thoughts on a comparison of both machines. Also wondering what type of tire your would recommend so I can try and get them in the deal.

    • @GuardianGrove
      @GuardianGrove  3 года назад

      Hey, sorry for the delay. I haven't driven the Sportsman 570 Touring but I've owned a Sportsman 570, driven their premium for a couple of days and drive the 850 touring. That being said, here are my thoughts.. The Sportsman 570 has better suspension/more travel and slightly better power. Like you said, it costs more. The CFORCE comes standard with everything you get on the 570 premium model, plus the winch, and is priced at around the base model Sportsman 570 Touring. I personally think the CFORCE looks better than the Sportsman, feels smoother, matches the reliability (my best guess as I haven't had any problems), and is slightly down on performance.
      What it comes down to with these for me, is price/value. I like them both about equally (the premium trim Sportsman vs the standard configuration CFORCE) and there is a big price gap, so it makes sense to choose the one that saves me money. The warranty here in Canada is also excellent and would cost me even more to match on the Polaris.
      For tires, it largely depends on the riding you do. I wouldn't buy an aggressive mud tire for general purpose trail riding, or vice versa. Some are better suited for rock, some are better suited for heavy snow, etc.
      For general all-terrain trail tires, I really like Bighorns. The CST Stag tires I have on my ZForce 1000 were excellent also, very comparable to the Bighorns and can be had for a better price. I just put bigger Traxion Gripper Max tires on my ZForce. They were very cheap, and seem to be comparable to both of the ones I just mentioned, but that is here in Canada (not sure where you're located). I think 27" is the sweet spot for this displacement, and probably 6 ply preferably, to keep them as light as possible. Finding the sweet spot to get a larger tire, more clearance, with no trimming/modifications required and minimal performance loss is my goal here.

    Gone are the days when CFMoto came back at the end of a rope. Today the machines are reliable with a higher level of finish than the 570 Polaris. In France, we have the 625 which benefits from the 850 chassis and an improved engine (same displacement as the 600). There are two flaws that CF will need to correct quickly: heavy weight and very low end suspensions. Once these things get better, other manufacturers need to be concerned.

      Thanks for watching! I think the other manufacturers need to be concerned right now. Case in point, I had a Sportsman 570, I now have a CForce 600 haha. Do you think the CForce 600 would be good for driving up lots of steep (20 degree plus) inclines consistently?

    • @GuardianGrove
      @GuardianGrove  3 года назад

      Sorry for the delay. Most ATVs use CVT instead of a fixed gear automotive type transmissions. It sounds like your friend is suggesting Hondas, which don't use CVT. There are pros and cons to both. A good mid-powered to higher performance ATV with CVT should be fine. If it's really steep, I would look at the CFORCE 1000. Use low range for slower speed climbs. The only real potential issue would be CVT belt life but these things are meant for challenging environments. People use CVT machines for steep rock climbing all the time. The automotive style transmissions like your friend recommends (non-CVT) don't use belts, so you wouldn't have to worry about that, but they are a bit more expensive when they have transmission problems, and they are not as smooth riding. They will usually have an automatic mode with the option to shift manually. The biggest problem is that Honda's are all underpowered by todays standards. The modern machines that use purely manual transmissions are all pure-sport machines, I believe.
      In summary, in my opinion, your best bet is to get a high horsepower CVT transmission machine. This is not "automatic" because there are no gears, instead, the transmission always keeps you where you need to be. The manual options are too limited and don't offer enough performance for really steep terrain.

      @@gtmoto2710 Ah, I understand lol. I thought you were hinting toward not liking the orange. To be perfectly honest, because of low stock, I was limited to the blue Z1000 and the orange CForce 600 but, I really liked both of them anyway (luckily).

      CFMOTO Canada imports the machines and handles the Canadian dealer network, marketing, customer support, etc. They are based out of Quebec. I feel you with the political situation! Fingers crossed right now...
