I have the Shure SM7B with the Roland Bridge and my voice was totally boring without EQ. With your EQ settings my voice is so full of energy, it's really good. Thanks for the helpful video!
For everyone who are wondering. These WORK with the GoXLR MINI. EQ doesn't give you 4 options for each Base, Mid and Treble.. But, with proper tweaking, it does work! Please see EQ that i use below: EQ: BASS: 32HZ (2) 175HZ (4) MID: 500HZ (-2) 1.5KHZ (0) Treble: 4.0KHZ (4) 18.0KHZ (6) Hope this help!!
I was having the hardest time trying to fix my mic and this video saved my future videos/streams 😭 THANK YOU SO MUCH! Definitely underrated channel and content 🥺
My Home theatre was rumbling with your voice bro !! What bass you have in your voice ! In your next video just say EA Sports Its in the game at the end !! Subbed
my issue is i cant seem to get rig of the fuzzy noise while the gate is on while iim talking i got a shure sm7b mic sighs and without the gate my background is kinda noisy
You're going to have to either get a noise suppression vst for OBS to get rid of the static/background hiss or treat your environment by creating dampening or separation from the noise source.
Thanks for the great explanation. I am considering getting the GoXLR, but I am wondering if those effects/filters are processes by the PC or the hardware, any idea on this?
@@JollyLegend thank you so much! I see a “cough” submenu too! don’t know if the interface has those but would a limiter affect and noise cancel be processed by the chip too?
Idk anymore😂😂 I just put them all on ebay and I'll just keep whichever doesn't sell, I now just have the ksm32, lct540s and sr314 and honestly I'd be happy with any of them
Yes the mini has less functionality than the full size goxlr. I don't have the mini so I've never experimented with it, another commenter poster their settings so maybe you could try those out :)
I agree but I realised you don't need anywhere near as much as you'd think to get professional results. I fully sound treated my studio in my old house to the point every wall was covered in 4in thick rock wool, and in this house I just have 1 pack of the elgato wave pannels and a few basic acoustic pannels and it's pretty much good enough.
I don’t have the same mic or environment as you but even though I didn’t change much your set up is was I’ve been looking for and I’m glad I did cause now I can start my streaming and stuff again, thanks for the video my friend🫡
@@JollyLegend oh, I understand. May I ask I am looking to buy a new interface with the budget of 600 usd, I am really looking into the go xlr. Any suggestions?
Thank you so much for this video. you helped me greatly. now I sound much better than before!

hello, what filters and settings you use obs for voice ? thanks
@@Feragamotv I don't use any filters in OBS
The best creator that shows the best settings, keep up the good work!

Damn your voice is amazing!
Do you think the sale result can be obtained with the same settings applied with VSTs ?
Yeah just get a vst eq and compressor and follow the settings
You should do a video on room treatment. That would be a great video. What you used, how you did it, cost, etc.
Thanks for the great explanation. I am considering getting the GoXLR, but I am wondering if those effects/filters are processes by the PC or the hardware, any idea on this?
The effects are all done on a dedicated DSP chip inside the GOXLR itself, nothing is processed on the PC so there's 0 latency/system load.
@@JollyLegend thank you so much! I see a “cough” submenu too! don’t know if the interface has those but would a limiter affect and noise cancel be processed by the chip too?
Im not sure If I should be scared or not ngl
What's your favorite mic now?

is the Lewitt LCT-440-PURE also possible?@@JollyLegend
@@playthebeats. sure, it is also a great mic, and will sound probably 95% the same
for some reason mine only has 6 equaliser selectors whereas yours has more? (using goxlr mini)

It really sucks the go xlr doesn’t work on Mac .. there’s ways to make it work but just doesn’t sound the same at all
I thought the new open source software they made works on mac now too, I haven't checked it out yet, but it might be worth looking into
@@JollyLegend yah i mean it “works” but it’s not the same . I use the exact same settings as my windows pc , and sounds way different
24er version ? :D
I will say, you can definitely tell how much of an impact your room treatment is playing as your voice sounds great even without processing.

Will this work with a rode mic Dynamic mic? I noticed you didn’t use dynamic
Yes, just change the input mode to dynamic and adjust the gain accordingly, the rest of the settings will be the same
You deserve more likes and subs...I used your video when I got my goxlr over a year ago.....
Isn't the GOXLR dead though. No more support for drivers... I know there is an open source, but who knows how long will that be supported.
There's not going to be any new features but I doubt it'd just stop working.
I don’t have the same mic or environment as you but even though I didn’t change much your set up is was I’ve been looking for and I’m glad I did cause now I can start my streaming and stuff again, thanks for the video my friend🫡
I come here for ASMR sleep.
What is the microphone?
Lewitt LCT 540s
Thank you
@@JollyLegendI am not going to lie, I have just bought a shure sm7db! It’s way better with the gain boost, just saying if you’re looking for gain.
@@ApplyNowCOP I can imagine it being good if you like the SM7b sound :D I personally prefer mics with a more bright or airy sound for my voice.
