I love the variety of spells you're using in these fights. I don't think I've ever used Founding Rain but you're actually catching people with it. Fun stuff!

Even if it doesn't, it'll keep those pesky Moonveils at bay! Wether it's for a breather, or to catch someone obviously attacking before thinking. Spells like this are basicly insurance for your follow up to at least not be interupted up close. Plus, combined with the right gear, dps wise it definitely does a good amount of damage. Just not all at once so on one small enemy you won't see the full dps effect. Use it on a big boss though that's a TON of extra blanket damage on top of all the other stuff you're chucking
@@edybocman76 Any staff, really but Lusat's is the meta choice because of its crazy scaling, especially if you've got like 50 mind the way this guy does.

Why use Gavel of Haima? You'd get the same damage out of two Carian Slicer hits, and it's much safer and cheaper than the Gavel. Plus, Carian Slicer can rollcatch and pierce shields fairly easily.
Also the Carian slicer has very little to no poise damage. It’s prolly the best close-quarters mage DPS spell but if you’re against a tank player he will be able to swing his two handed right through your carian slicer hits.

There's an Ash of War that does that if you complete a minor questline but its the same super-precise parry window and it cant reflect spells with more than one projectile, making it effectively useless since the best ranged projectile for PvP is Stars of Ruin.

I promise you left hand staff and use ash of war bloodhound step and you'll actually be unkillable

You can get most of them where you are right now in the game. The tree sentinel is really hard too.
Round Table area the cleric sells some incantations. You just need to give him cook books.

Pvp scales with lvl so hes 200 he is fighting people around the same level so its fair

Keep in mind that this character is at least level160 judging by their HP/FP/Stam. A build below or around level 125 would be more impressive.

The pvp meta is 125-150 anything higher is okay for pve. That's the rule of thumb for any FromSoft game

What’s the best staff for pvp?
Lusat has more dmg output, it just uses more fp, but it’s negligible if you got a good fp pool and decent management of it.
