Fair tbh I love Mattel but I do want to ask do you say you’ll never part with them Because you genuinely like them and their presence or because of the profit you’ll eventually make off them?
I don't think the question is for me but I'll reply anyway. I would never buy a doll for profit. I never sold any of my dolls yet. I might have to part with some due to space issues in the future. It will be hard. I collect many different doll lines. I still love my MH dolls and I have been collecting them from the beginning. I prefer to keep my G1 dolls and not collect the G3 dolls. I like them but I prefer the originals. No space for both. I might buy one or two G3 and thrift them but I will not collect them actively.
in fact they are selling in pretty good prices now and if someone wants to sell it's an opportune moment so it's wonderful timing !!!!!I'm sure it will be a success!!!! In fact I am in a downsizing time myself too I'm trying to sell my bjd's and I have them unused in storage for years because mainly of the toxicity in the fandom and they are legit and I can prove it but I'm pro-recast for those who like recasts and can't get the fuss there is from people who even download their music and books without paying copyrights can you see the irony!!!So I realised I am blacklisted but still they have to go they are just clutter at this point so I just have to deal with it.Downsizing is good cause space and quality of life need to let things go from time to time even as a collector just to end at the safe side of collecting !!! Movings are a great opportunity too in every moving I feel like the epitome of hoarding so I ditch things lol
@@TheDollCircle Exactly I totaly see it this way too , if I never enjoy something and I just have to bump on it in spring cleanings it's better to go to someone who will use it and enjoy it than just have it hidden somewhere and just takes space!!!!❤
I totally get how this feels, I just sold a load of collector barbie's and I ended up buying a few back as I instantly regretted it. It's hard to downsize.

I feel the same with downsizing now. Especially if they are in a box or hidden away. I would rather sell and have someone else enjoy it more.
