His hatred of engineers started in season 1 of Young Sheldon when a NASA employee shut down his idea. Not to mention the fact he hates geologists due to the the girl he liked who was studying it only saw him as a little kid
I agree, why he hates geologist was answered on young Sheldon, but his hatred for engineers, as well as many other things on the list was not.
He also made a comment about engineering when he was choosing a college to go to and Boston is suggested.
In the newest episode preview it shows that he struggles with an engineering project
Yup
But we may know more in the upcoming episode of Young Sheldon: An Introduction to eingeneering and a glob of hair gel. It even have Howard(I heard it from sneak peeks)
I've never watched "Young Sheldon" but was a "The Big Bang Theory" fan and learning Sheldon had a son and named him Leonard just warms my heart so much!
@@busylawbee Thanks,i'll do that.
YS is an absolutely fabulous show on its own, above and beyond TBBT connections.
@Christopher Bingham I think Sheldon wanted to name his child after both Leonard nimoy and Leonard hofstadter but overall the name would end up as "Leonard nimoy cooper" ,thats why Amy suggested plain Leonard
@Christopher Bingham I wouldn’t be shocked if Sheldon would say, to everyone’s face, that his son is named after Nimoy… but then when he’s secretly rocking his son to sleep he’ll whisper “That’s why I named you after your uncle Leonard.”
@@tam9856 That's my take too. Sheldon has been shown to be insensitive with such things, but coming round to understanding why "Leonard Nimoy Cooper" might hurt his friend Leonard. Occasionally forgetting and reverting to tactless, to Amy's annoyance.
Am I the only one super touched by Sheldon naming his son after Leonard?? 🥺
I think he definitely thought about Leonard but he covered it up with nemoy
WHAT
Nope, I was close to tears when I heard his son's name.
Although he did have the DNA of Neemoy
@Christopher Bingham Pretty sure it's for both Leonard Nimoy and Hofstadter
One thing I find amazing about this show is that they cast Laurie Metcalf's (Sheldon's mother) daughter Zoe Perry to play a younger version of Mary Cooper
Why amazing?
That's actually interesting. Didn't know that
One of my favorite fun facts.
they sound soooo similar it would've been eery if they weren't related tbh
Didn’t know that! They both were amazing too!
There are a few reasons he hates engineering
1. The nasa episode where his idea for landing rockets was ignored
2. Linkletter
3. The Bridge episode with professor boucher
and that girl
@@amusedapple4933 if you're talking about the girl from the mystery woman ep she's interested in geology
@@junomifitina3145 ah right
I don't think Linkletter is in this at all, MsMojo messed up. That was ADULT Sheldon making that Engineering crack, we already know Adult Sheldon has a gripe against Engineering, in the actual episode there was no Engineering at play at all, I don't think anybody likened the grunt work TO Engineering. I think the INTENDED origin is the Bridge and the Bridge incident only.
@@niceguy169 yes the exact comment I was looking for!! Definitely the budge episode that did it
I think older Sheldon is an unreliable narrator when it comes to talking about his dad, most likely because catching his dad with another woman when he was 12, and then losing his dad 2 years later, that’s world shattering to a child. (No matter how much Sheldon acted like an adult, he was still a kid.)
Likewise with his older brother and twin sister, he looks down on them because they aren't book smart when in truth, they are quite street smart and clever. That's why I also hated it when his mother heavily criticized her own children and favored Sheldon.
(Grown up) Sheldon behaved more like a kid than an adult though.
13* not 12
And I remember George dosent die until sheldon is 15
@@lordalessan we see on young sheldon georgie doing well for a guy hes age. also later in big bang he has a chain of store you dont get that by being dumb. but we have to keep in mind sheldon considers everyone around him dumb even leanard.
@@capeto08 14.
Best George Senior and sheldon moment in my opinion is when they are on the plane to california and shrldon has a panic attack and locks himself in the toilet, even though George doesn't really understand star trek he does understand how much spock means to sheldon and uses the character as a way to help him deal with his panic
9:24 - "for my son... Leonard" gives me goosebumps 😭
💕
Leonard…NIMOY.
Not after Hofstedder.
I almost cried
@@ladyethymenope it's both
is it wrong that I want them to do a sequel series of just Amy and Sheldon's life with their kids that would be freaking hilarious
I’d love that too
Yes but it had to feature the other characters too. Otherwise it would be like a different story. They should make Sheldon and Amy the main characters instead of ALL of them, though.
Very good idea😊
That would be literally the most impossible idea because the only reason why the show was ended was due to Sheldon actor wanted to end it. A decision i can understand completely cause he obv would want to move to different things
Omg seeing Sheldon especially adjust to being a father, that would be amazing.
@@johans3164 he did say that. Then he started doing voice over work for young Sheldon 🙃
I think Sheldon’s dislike of hospitals should have been mentioned. The explanation actually makes sense.
What was the explanation?
Basically, his father had a heart attack and lived but Sheldon saw him bed-ridden with tubes and stuff. Plus he has an eidetic memory so he can never forget it.
And because he’s a germophobe
It probably attributes to his germaphobia
Plus he went to hospital with Gaulle bladder and had surgery.
I would love a tv series centered around Sheldon and amy and them raising their offspring together. with their neighbors and what not showing up at times... but mainly to see how sheldon would raise kids
omg yes that would be genius!
I just want to see him change a diaper
That would be great
Just wait until they air the final episode of young Sheldon, then the network (and actors) will be looking for another paycheck😏
Unfortunately, it won’t happen. Jim Parson’s dad passed when he was only 52. Jim was 46 at the end of season 12 of TBBT. He said that he imagined himself having 6 years left to live (as comparable to his dad’s passing) and he wanted to do and explore more opportunities than Sheldon Cooper. It’d be REALLY nice to see a third spinoff, but it won’t happen. :/
I think the tricky thing with unplanned prequels is that there are certain things that won’t translate well, particularly when it comes to Sheldon dad. Sheldon mostly shared the negative aspects of his dads character which was fine when his dad was just a figment of the past because we could laugh about it, much like their divorce. But actually witnessing it happen is a whole other thing, because then it’s not funny, it’s sad. It’s hard to enjoy the good because you know it’s going to get really bad so you’re just waiting for the other shoe to drop
I heard that Sheldon's Father seemed like a horrible person always arguing and even at times abusive to his wife but the Young Sheldon shows that he seems to care about his family and he has a great relationship them. I always covered this up with the theory that his fathers good actions are in his mind considering in one episode he states that in his child mind it seemed as his Mother flew across the room while he tries to call John about Meemaw being with Ira.
yeah, poor Sheldon and that's also the reason Sheldon always knock the door three times, in order to let others have time to put on clothes!
A father will always be remembered as abusive in some way if he's less than perfect. He is the male, after all.
They do argue alot
Likely b/c Mary has dragged her husband since his death…literally calls him ‘dumbass’ etc.
@@EldonX-pm2ip I'm from the future Sheldon's dad never cheated on his mom. They were just role-playing!!!!!

Appreciate same goes for young Sheldon from BBT Georgie and Tam were introduced after young Sheldon started
5:41 is wrong, has nothing to do with engineers, episode 7 of season 5 sheldon takes an engineer class, the teacher was too tuff on him even tho he worked his ass off, it never payed off so he decided to hate engineers
him hating engineers was because the door was closed when he was late to an engineering class
thanks appreciate that
he didn't name his son after Leonard Hofstadter, he named his son after Leonard Nimoy (Mr. Spock from star trek) 😂😂
No,
He intended it as Leonard Nimoy BUT the only reason Amy allowed it was because she thought it was Leonard Hofstadter.
He just didn’t want to let on that he’s emotional like that.
I think it was intended as both, with "Nimoy" strengthening the connection to Spock. A lot like Howard named his son Neil "For Armstrong, Gaiman, and Diamond", a multi-reference.
There are loads of instances in BBT where Sheldon does heartwarming things but covers them up to hide his real emotions, until he absolutely has to show them. Having a child is most likely one of the scenarios that would bring out his emotions, so he may say it's for Nimoy, but we all know it's Hofstadter
I might be in the minority, but I prefer "Young Sheldon" to "The Big Bang Theory". It's possibly due to the charisma of the ensemble cast, Iain Armitage's convincing performance, or the refreshing absence of an annoying laugh track!
*shakes your hand* Happy for you to join us.
Let’s apply for minority benefits
i’ve never seen the big bang theory, but i really like young sheldon lol
@Christopher Bingham apple and wereoranges😂
TBBT is just Friends with nerds. YS is just funny 7th Heaven.
I wish there's more information about his twin sister and their relationship as adults.
His hatred of Engineering was explained in Season 5. It is because of his Engineering teacher.
Exactly! Howard even said it at the end of the episode, that thats why he despise engineers. I was looking for your comment.
I’ve been looking for this comment!
Honestly I can't blame him hahha
When this video was made, that episode wasnt out yet
Which was fair.
Guy was a dick, and not a good teacher.
the "be happy i let you name him leonard' always gives me chills
Why does it give you chills?
It is impossible to watch Big bang theory if you binge young Sheldon before it. The kind of chemistry, comedy and warmth is missing in BBT.
Can’t agree more
I really did enjoy BBT but couldnt get past the first 2 seasons because I was just annoyed by the whole sexual stuff, the sterotypical nerd stuff and laugh tracks which are good and funny in their own ways but I really just wanted to know more about Sheldon since he was my favorite character. I binged all of YS and I really enjoy the comedy and just the family aspect of the show and dropped BBT
There is just so much more emotion in YS and its awesome ^^
im sorry i disagree i actually enjoyed binging BBT more than YS after watching it. things in bbt have more meaning because of YS and its cool to see him in an adult environment
Absolutely
@@awkwardhuman6314 same but now it’s kinda okay .But at first it was funny and all now it’s kinda boring
My favorite Young Sheldon episode was when he didn't want to get sick. His little bubble was hilarious and his mee maw once said, "I'm gonna wet myself." Best line ever
Meemaw was so hilarious during that scene 😂
"I wanted to name him Leonard _Nimoy_ Cooper, but Amy wouldn't let me."
"Be happy I let you name him Leonard!"
🤣🤣🤣
4:30 I just watched young sheldon.. The reason why he offers a hot beverage to ppl who r upset is bcoz he doesn't know how to deal with them and this technique works..he only needed to listen and offer a hot beverage and it would make the other feel better . His father said he was proud coz a friend at work told him he should tell his children he was proud of them. So its not just sheldon he told that he was proud but also georgie and missy.
Well yeah but that’s dramatic irony. We know that George told missy and georgie that he’s proud of them but sheldon doesn’t know that.
I think Georgie took the name George in honour of his father passing away.
I think he took it for the same reason I insisted on being called Joe instead of Joey as I was as a child, it sounded childish.
He's called George junior, but the family call him Georgie maybe to distinguish from the father
When he asked Sheldon to call him "George" instead of "Georgie", and Sheldon tried it and didn't like it, was and just because Sheldon doesn't like change, or was it because Sheldon associates "George" with his father?
I think “George” simply sounds more mature. “Georgie” sounds more juvenile.
His full name is actually George Marshall Cooper
The bazinga ball pit scene never gets old!!😆
I am a HUGE fan of both shows and watch them all the time on DVDs. Young Sheldon is a brilliant replacement for TBBT.
I don’t like how BBT betrayed George senior as a careless drunk, but in young Sheldon he is one of the nicest & caring people.
It's called "people changing". George drinks heavier and cheats later.
What you don't like is actually how you don't think anything changes, and everyone should be exactly as they are from birth to death.
I actually got teary eyed at the naming of his son after his best friend.
are you sure its about his best friend and not Leonard Nimoy, i took it was Nimoy but amy wouldn't allow that only accepting Leonard because of Leonard Hofstadter
@Bluedream024 honestly it's not that deep. It's a tv show. My emotion has since passed and I'm not about to go back and forth over something fictitious. Thanks anyway.

@@Avazq153 judging by that reply u probably watch something once and never watch it again
If u don’t u still seem like it
@Fish Dorito I really couldn't care less what you say bud. Go get laid... even if you're forced to pay for it. Which judging by your response it's what you're used to.
Adult Sheldon:
How could one person be the whole movie?
Young Sheldon: 🤔
@Christopher Bingham Yeah and it's not only about Sheldon. It's about his whole family.
@Christopher Bingham That was a quote from an episode, I believe they were playing 20 questions, and Penny's guess was "Are you Star Wars" or something. I think Wait Till Fame was referring to the title suggesting Sheldon is this whole show. :)
Young sheldon was brilliant, it really captured him as a kid being so sweet and innocent just as he was described in the series, innocent like a little kid. But you can really see where all that sweet little things come from in a great way. Besides him being annoying.
Given Amy’s reaction to naming their son Leonard it seems more plausible that Sheldon was truly aiming for naming him after Leonard Nimoy and not Leonard in tbbt. Amy was always proud of Sheldon showing his compassion and ‘human’ side so her being angry about Sheldon wanting to name their son after Leonard Hofstadter doesn’t fit her character imo. It could be true for the comedic effect but it just seems unlikely to her previous reactions to Sheldons loving gestures we saw in tbbt
It seems like they named Sheldon's son after both, like Howard named his son Neil after "Armstrong, Gaiman, and Diamond", a multi-reference, but Sheldon tried to double down the Nimoy reference, which Amy nixed. She was fine with naming the kid after our Leonard, THAT is sweet, and a side reference to Nimoy is fine (probably just in private/to Sheldon), but felt it too far to take Nimoy's full name/put his last name as a middle name.
I would’ve love, loved, loooooved to see Sheldon and Amy as parents.
I thought the hot beverage for when people are sad was a thing he observed his mother doing, right? He just thought that’s the protocol 😂
Well his mom did it for him, and it helped him. So he uses it for other people.
I always thought the hot beverage thing was just something his mom taught him because of the very scene y'all showed
I thought it was just southern hospitality🤷🏻♂️
How is it possible for the prequel to be better than the original?
I wouldn’t go that far
@@piffny6666 exactly
Not better per say but the writing was handled better the BBT focused so much on ha need stuff laugh at the stereotypes dumb blonde superhero joke, while YS was more about him growing up with still jokes but not so much laugh tracks
It’s not. Easy. Next question. If we could have TBBT rewritten to not need laugh tracks, then it would be infinitely better, but as it stands, it’s still ahead of YS.
Also. With some shows they’re so good you don’t even notice the laugh tracks. TBBT is a good example of this, as is Fresh Prince.
My theory about Mr. Cooper's alleged infidelity is that Sheldon thought his mom was out of the house, but she was really setting up alone time with her husband because they were going to try some light bedroom roll playing. All Sheldon could see of the woman when he opened the door was her wig before his dad blocked his view so he assumed it wasn't his mother. And Sheldon being Sheldon never brought it up, so they never got the chance to tell him it was just his mom...
That’s the best case scenario… but what’s more likely is that he just cheated. It would surprise u as to who would actually cheat.
like the ups guy episode of southpark. I think your theory has merit. I also think its not cheating but a misunderstanding by sheldon. Also given the fact that Sheldon isnt good with social things he could easy misunderstand a situation
In Tbbt Mary Cooper says the husband was cheating on her
That would have been an excellent scenario. But if he really truly cheated. It was probably with Barbra Jean LOL I don't know if thats who he does it with. But I assume her cause I have been watching Young Sheldon episodes every day this month and she seems to always pop up. Now if he cheats with MeeMaw I am gonna die LOL ...
I hope this is true, it’s just traumatizing for me to possibly witness George Sr’s. infidelity
Sheldon’s hatred of engineering actually comes from a bad experience he had with an engineering professor in college
isn't it the nasa guy from high school who laughed at his theory on landing boosters? that was the episode they had elon musk using his notebook as a gag.
@@lukeyyyyyy I think that was only implied at the time but a recent episode that featured Howard narrating alongside Sheldon showed that the professor was the real reason
i think it applies to all engineer he met. and all that bad experience he got from them
Sheldon decides he hates engineers when an engineering professor keeps ripping up his work and locks him out of class and upsets him.
Fun fact: Georgie in young Sheldon is actually form east Texas, that’s the actor’s actual accent.
It is amazing how they intertwined all of these little details from the Big Bang Theory into the storyline of Young Sheldon.
I would say not perfectly, but pretty close, which is impressive.
Oh how I wish TBBT was on now during the Covid-19 pandemic, I would have loved to have seen how a germophobe like Sheldon would have coped trying to stay away from the germ afraid of anyone who might be a carrier including his close friends. I think it would have made a couple of hilarious episodes. I think Sheldon would have invested in a full haze mat suit to go around in one with it's own oxygen supply.
Its funny how you said that... I saw an episode of young sheldon the other day and It was aired I think in 2018... Sheldon was being well sheldon at highschool and every time someone coughed or sneezed he freaked out. An than he basically went all ET phone home in the garage lol An his grandma lured him out. Later he got sick and thats when soft kitty song came into play. Also they did mention a pandemic in that episode. He wore an astronaunt suit and a face mask as well. I think he would even be doing all of that during this covid pandemic.
Then that would make it so young Sheldon is set after the big bang theory
Its on everyday...
I do not mean repeats. I mean brand new episodes
He references it season 4 I think saying I been social distancing before it was cool to
Paige made such an impact on sheldon in young sheldon I wish we met her in tbbt
I wouldnt be surprised if there is a sequel to TBBT after Young Sheldon ends. Many of the cast have expressed interest in the show again since having a break. It would be very easy to include her in some way... depending on if they wanted her to be a guest character or a series regular.
@Christopher Brown Nope, nothing yet. Guessing you're referring to the college episode, the episode where she sees Sheldon's dorm room. My heart SO went out to her, how shattered she clearly was that weirdo Sheldon had made friends and his mis-diagnosis of how crucial to these people he was. Adult Sheldon's voice-over resolved things at the end of the episode.
I love Young Sheldon....I didn't think I could be hooked!!
same really good sitcom
Me too, it's hilarious, and the cast have brilliant comic timing and chemistry!
Actually, in one episode, Sheldon takes an engineering class in which he has to build a bridge but the lecturer always tears his work apart indicating there is a mistake but never tells. Sheldon tries again and again until almost giving up and when he does find the answer he gets late to the class and the engineering lecturer doesn't allow him to enter as a rule for his class. At the end of the episode, we hear a conversation between adult Sheldon and Howard about if this was the reason for Sheldon picking on engineers so much.
🤓☝️
As much as I don’t like TBBT after season 2 I’ll admit it does have a more structured continuity and less plot holes and even interesting characters. It even has an interesting prequel series that sitcoms never get.
You didn’t like it after season 2. How did you stop at 2 out of like 11 seasons
@@tbsinclair3268 I stopped at 3. If someone doesn’t like a show why would they keep watching it?
@@tbsinclair3268 *12. :)
And the show got better, more people joined and filled out the cast after Season 3, characters developed and grew...
Number 6, it was actually cause he got locked out of his engineering class in an episode in season 4 or 5 when the old Howard says”Is that really why you hate engineering” and Shelton says”Yes, but it was mostly you after that. So I think that what you said was only a little part of it as he later actually helped which fixed up the lab rat.
When young sheldon creating a new religion is my favorite episode haha
Mine too. I’m Mormon, but that whole rant from the librarian about living on a planet with her cat had me in stitches.
I think the version of George Sr. in TBBT and Young Sheldon will always be unparalleled because of two different POVs.
In TBBT we only get to hear Sheldon's POV of what his father was like, which is a drunk and a womanizer. In Young Sheldon, we get to see the whole picture of George Sr. being a father still figuring things out considering that he married Mary when they were young.
No parents are perfect but we know that Sheldon will always take things too far from his POV even though the other party wasn't really aware of what they did to Sheldon. (ex: Will Wheaton's rivalry, Tam in his list of enemies, Paige being smarter than him)
The best example is when Sheldon was mad at Georgie and doesn't want to invite him to his wedding. He later found out that Georgie was trying to protect him and their family when George Sr. died.
I don't think anyone was worrying about how George got interested in tiers.
Yeah, that was more of a callback, a nod to fans to say "Hey! That's the start of that!".
lmaooo
Fun fact: the actress who played Sheldon’s mom in “Young Sheldon” is the daughter of that actress who plays his mom in “TBBT.” At least I remember hearing that somewhere.
It seems likely, especially for this show.
Yup, heard that a couple of times, confirmed it on IMDb, and somewhere on the Young Sheldon IMDb pages it mentions this in the Trivia. ALSO not the first time Zoe Perry played a young Laurie Metcalfe either, I remember reading she did so on Roseanne, too.
"Where did his fascination with comic books come from?" Well, he read one once...... And he liked it. Why does that need an explanation?
I’ve gotta feeling the 3 knocks theory is gonna be heartbreaking
I am recently watching young Sheldon after finishing BBT and I'm in love with Sheldon and his character and those connections ughhhhh ♥️
I just finished the series, and I’m sad that I don’t have new episodes to watch anymore 😆🙃. Knowing Sheldon and Amy had kids and named one of them Leonard, made me teary eyed omg 🥹 I just love this show so much. I’ve only watched some young Sheldon, definitely going to start watching it.
I'll always love Young Sheldon more
Not alot of people know this but George Sr was also Leonard's bully.
I was hoping you’d mention, “I’m not crazy. My mother had me tested.”
I never even watched Big Bang Theory, my 10 yr old got me into Young Sheldon and I haven’t laughed so hard in the longest time
Sheldon sure can act a little cheeky and silly for his own good. Funniest bit about him.
The engineer one is explained later on, it's because of a teacher, also because of what happened in season with his idea for NASA
Man, i enjoyed the prequel series.
WHY are so many people speaking of Young Sheldon in the past tense? There was a new episode tonight!
Linkletter isn't the engineering professor that upset Sheldon.
OMG! You guys finally did your first Young Sheldon video! Please do more of these
2 best 'crossovers' are when the young guys are all up in their own homes around the world for the nobel prize announcement and Penny is laid out asleep....and 2 when Sheldon and George go to CAL TECH and they look into the lunch room where Sheldon says something like " imagine all the conversations that go on in here.

🎶Soft Kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur, happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr, purr, purr.🎶 Your welcome Sheldon, I sang the song for you. :)

Best question: How did George turn in to Leonard's bully?
Well he did have an affair. Its probably his bastard child... and he knew it. thus the reason he bullied sheldon.. the true born heir.
@@orbitaldragon wat...
@@mineturtle7428 it was mostly sarcasm lol
Theory one: Young sheldon saw a frankenstein movie and thought he could do that better and tried to clone hes dad. Hes mother notice and said no no that is not what jesus wants. Sheldon pouted but did as he mother told him and tossed the clones cells in the toilet or there would have been no spagettie and hotdogs for him for dinner. During the long journey of the cells from the sewer to the see the clone started to grow and grow till it ended in the sea and was gown to young boy when washed up on the jersey shore near where lenard lived. A couple found it and adopted it (they where not called the kents but the clone did not had superpowers so that was ok). The clone ended in lenard class and started to bully him.
Theory two: It is the same actor :)
@@leto-nl it's definitely theory 1
The engineer thing can also be traced back to an episode in season 5 where an ex-soldier becomes Sheldon's engineering professor, but the professor is too strict coming to the point that he locked Sheldon out of the classroom because he was 1 minute late.
They're comic books, not comics. "Comics Are Feeble Attempts At Humor Featuring Talking Babies And Anthropomorphizing Pets Found Traditionally In The Optimistically Named Funny Pages."
I always find this correction to be wildly incorrect. It's quite common and accepted to shorten "comic books" to "comics". There's usually no mixing up which one is meant, it works, and it isn't the only example of one word meaning multiple things, at least this time they're related.
@@niceguy169 it's a quote from Sheldon in an episode ... not to be taken too seriously 😉
@@carlosescamilla5877 Yes, I know, I'm just telling you like I want to tell Sheldon every time that episode comes up. :) It's a really unnecessary correction. :)
Sheldon's hatred for engineering is from his professor who ripped his papers without reading it
Young shedon is cool because it could be counted as a twin show like the suit life of zack and cody or sister sister
Just wanna clear something up about george when sheldon him having "relations" with another wkman it was mary in a costume as we saw in young sheldon season 7
Awesome how Jim Parnsons came back to narrate for this show.
Hello Joanna, how are you doing, hope all is well with you and your family?
I think Parsons helped create the show, maybe even that his willingness to participate helped the show get made.
Kind of recently they answered how Sheldon thought his dad was cheating
Turned out it was Mary roleplaying as a German lady and she was with George and Sheldon thought it was a different woman
I just realized now how well cast was Georgie for his younger version. they kinda look alike
🎵Soft kitty, Warm kitty, Little ball of furrr🎵
The reasoning for the hot beverages is both wholesome and sad
In Young Sheldon (Season 5), He got into an engineering class and got a project (or was it an assignment) to draw a bridge (I forgot the details, but the viewers got the point). When he figured out the correct answer (which took him a long time to do so), he got locked out of the classroom because he was late. That's why he hated engineering. But it's mostly about Howard years later.
Sounds like a fun video, thanks!
4:36 You could also mention that in season 1 when it was boys out with Georgie, George and Sheldon. he asks him where to go and Sheldon says that he wanted to see the shuttle launch in Florida and even though it was a 12 to 15-hour drive he still took them and when it was raining which cancelled their plans. To cheer him up, George asks how lightning and thunder happen
even in the end The adult Sheldon does say that it was the best trip he had and wishes he told his father before he passed
this is the only show that made me luagh multiple times in 1 episode
the big bang theory or young sheldon?
@@Mike-iz9yc the big bang theory
Wish my Dad was as caring and friendly as George.
I haven’t watched Young Sheldon since the show premiered. It just wasn’t my cup of tea. It’s not a bad show, I like Iain playing the younger version of Sheldon. And the Big Bang Theory is a good show of mine. Maybe one day if I give Young Sheldon show a watch.
It really grows on you. I was not so sure at first but let a few EPs run and now I am a big fan. It has a more subtle delivery style ala Malcom in the Middle. The jokes are there but you are not led by the laugh track.
@@corneliussmiff2773 Malcolm in the middle was a really funny show, but Young Sheldon just didn’t make me laugh. Maybe I’ll give the show a rewatch.
@@jordandutra9029 I didn't mean to compare the two, just that they don't rely on laugh track. Young Sheldon is easy to to watch, it's funny without being laugh out loud funny, but very entertaining and watchable. It's short run time episode to episode makes it very endearing.
Young Sheldon also explained him catching his father with another woman: when Sheldon and his mother came back from Germany, Sheldon's mom put on a blonde wing and a traditional German costume to spice things up in bed with her husband, turns out the woman Sheldon saw his father "cheat" with was actually her mother in a disguise.
6:04 with the release of the new episode of Young sheldon, this is not at all why he hates engineers, in fact this has nothing to do with engineering, the new episode shows Sheldon taking a civil engineer class and the teacher was too tuff, he put in a lot of work in an assignment which the teacher didn’t take
Oh I paused after he said his son’s name was Leonard. I cried 😭😭😭.
But then I unpaused it, and heard he wanted to named him Leonard because of Leonard Nimoy 😂.
I truly wish we got the chance to see how Leonard reacted.
I always found it strange that Sheldon loves the soft kitty song yet is scared of animals and doesn't even like metaphors etc containing them.
My top 3 Sheldon stories:
1. Bazinga!
2. Why he has an own spot everywhere.
3. Why he always knock three times. (The reason was never shown in Young Sheldon but he told Penny in The Big Bang Theory). 😂😂
probably has to do with george and brenda
Im glad young sheldon was created, i still miss tbgt
The part about him picking up an xmen comic and feeling seen made me bawl. Once upon a time there was a liitle girl who picked up an xmen comic and she felt seen too.❤ Xmen gave me the strength i needed to be me because if they could, so could I. Then and now, 30 odd years later.
Pretty sure Sheldon named his son after Leonard Nimoy
The writers' said that he was named after Leonard and that Sheldon tried to get 'Nimoy' so he would be named after both.
@@busylawbee I've been commenting here several times it's both, thanks for providing confirmation that the writers meant it that way. :) I took it as both, like Howard named his son Neil for "Armstrong, Gaiman, and Diamond".
THE German soft Kitty 😂😂😂
You got the one about Sheldon's attitude towards engineers completely wrong, the real backstory was revealed in the episode he took an engineering class at college and was continuously treated very unfairly by the professor.
#0 “Where Did Sheldon’s ‘3 tap & 3 time’ knock originate from?”
Well, Actually, the Reality of Engineering is seen in the Further Season where we se Sheldon taking part in an Engineering Course(and there, we even Listen to Howard in the Young Sheldon episode). So yes, that is the TRUTH(although, I appreciate that they looked into this Detail-provided the Release of this Video)
I’m surprised the video game loving origin wasn’t in this list. That is such a good episode of Young Sheldon and a defining moment in his life.
I noticed you mixed up comic books with comics. As Sheldon Cooper once said to Penny: Comics are feeble attempts at humor featuring talking babies and anthropomorphized pets found traditionally in the optimistically named "funny pages".
I genuinely think Young Sheldon is way better than TBBT in every way possible. For one, it doesn't need laugh tracks to be funny. Love it.
His hatred of engineering actually stemmed from his engineering college class teacher in S05
correction for #4 he hated engineering because he took a class in college and he got an assignment for a bridge and when he finally got it right he was late for class and couldn’t go in howard even participated in the voiceover when it happened
