Perfect instructions! This worked with the LG pump from Amazon. Thorough and great step by step. I would add, our pump housing was not secured with a clip, but rather 3 bolts.
Thanks so much this video was so helpful. I'm glad there are people like you who are willing to give up time to make videos like this to help others who have no clue what they are doing.
Thanks for the kind words. Hearing from viewers like you makes all the time and effort worth while. I am glad the video helped you. Hopefully a future video will help you out again.
Thank you for your video. Your instruction was very detailed, and I appreciate that you didn't fast forward any step. I went step by step with you and paused as needed. I was able to fix my washer all by myself! I must say I feel pretty darn good about my accomplishment. Couldn't have done it with your video!
Thank you! I watched another video for LG pump replacement... but it turns out to be a slightly different series of removal steps; you're was on-the-mark for me! 🙂
I was able to change the pump from the underside by removing the the plastic cover bottom left front (filter basket and drain hose). The is 1 screw at bottom front (may need to gently pry bracket out to get screw driver shaft on the screw head) and 2 other screws underneath you can see through the rectangle cutout underneath (I also cut some of the plastic bottom for easier access to the bottom side screws during reassembly). Then all you need to do is remove the hoses and rotate the pump assembly out and disconnect the wires to the recirc pump and the drain pump. Both pumps are easy to get to. This saved me from removing the front panel and you don't need a socket set to remove the pump bracket.

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!
You are very welcome. Thanks for watching.
I feel bad you don't have a drill but thank you for the video
Thanks for watching.
I don’t believe you have to remove the mounting plate off the drain pump before replacing. Yours looks the same as mine and I didn’t have to.
Thanks for the tip.
Why not just lay it on its side and access it from the bottom without removing all the panels?
Wondering the same. Can you access and replace from the bottom?
