I love how Tony locks the door lol TIVAAAAA. I've been rewatching seasons 3 through 6 (because personally for me that was when the show ended, I honestly hate the show post season 6) the last few days and I forgot how much I adored these two. TIVA FOREVER
Bree P Exactly how I feel! After the team rescued Ziva in the start of season 7, she became a little 'too american' for my taste, if that makes sense. In earlier seasons she was this naughty, exotic foreign beauty, but in time it the 'american way' changed her, she also wasn't as playful anymore, I think the torture also affected her obviously. It wasn't even any big changes either, It was the little things. Don't get me wrong, she was (and still is to this day) gorgeous, but she became less sexy in terms of wardrobe and also behaviour, if that makes sense. She dressed and behaved a lot more naughty and sexy in seasons 3-6, and from season 7 onward she became a little more mature and also didn't screw up as many american words anymore too, which was also part of her charm and part of the banter and flirting with Tony. All that kinda disappeared, along with her naughtiness and childish playfulness, which made her and Tony's connection and them such a good kick ass partners in the first place. I remember this episode from a later season, where Ziva rescued Tony from an exploding barbecue, tackling him and landing on top of him, and he said 'I missed this Ziva, the naughty Paris Ziva'. Summed up my thoughts exactly.
idk to me it just shows maturity, possibly due to the torture she endured and the fact that after tony saved her, she started to see him in a different light and realized how she couldnt live without him (as seen in 16x13 when they read ziva's journal and it said exactly that, or among those lines) so they laid off the flirting to an extent. post season 6, they definitely had more heart to hearts and it really showed their relationship wasnt solely based on flirting/banter like seasons 3-6 did. (but what do i know? i'm butting into this thread a lil too late 😂)

The show literally got better after season 6 spoiler alerts season 7 Tony admitss he can't live without her season 10 ziva realizes she loves tony
Tony and Ziva relationship got better in later seasons they became soulmates forever
