I am a 74 year old man trying to keep my mind sharp. I have watched many videos on F2L but this is the best I have seen. It might take a while but I think I can finally master it. Thanks for your patience. Great job!
Dude. I just randomly decided to learn how to solve a cube a few weeks ago. Learned beginner method... Got down to consistent 1:30-2:00 solves. Started on F2l a couple days ago. And my head felt like it was gonna explode. Couldn't make any sense of it. No matter how many videos I watched or how much I rewinded.... Then found this video today And you're seriously a godsend. Haha. Like you break it down and make it all make sense and I can follow it and make sense of it!!! So thank you!! This seriously is an amazing video!! Best I've seen explaining F2l to beginners!!
Heres something that sums up the video so you dont have to jump around WHITE (7:47) face slot towards you line up edge position to left or right lift slot fix corner SAME (9:38) face white to opposite color on the corner hide corner and move edge over it DIFFERENT (12:20) line up edge face slot to you and edge piece on left or right lift slot and turn top until you see white lower slot EASY CASE white over slot slot faces you and you cant see white lift slot move top until you see white lower slot
I have been trying to learn how to do f2l for so long, I appreciate you doing a video on this, all the other videos made it to complicated and this was so simple. Thanks it taught me f2l, now I know it :D
Glad to hear the video helped! When I was starting out I couldn't find videos that were organized in a way that made sense to me, so I figured that there were others out there that had the same problem. I always makes me happy when I hear they are adding value to the community. Thanks again for your comment and Happy Cubing!
Best F2l video ever! When I started watching this video I had just mastered the daisy method, so I wanted to get faster. And then I watched other videos and they were to fast and complicated. So when I watched this video it was great! If you got this far in this comment and you are looking for a good F2l video, watch this one!
I've been trying to learn f2l and this is by far the best tutorial I found. All of the other tutorials are overly complex or badly explained. I was ready to quit but then I found this video. Thanks a bunch.
You are welcome a bunch David! Kinda funny, someone else said I stray too much and over explain. Fine line to balance I guess :P Glad you didn't quit. Thanks again for the comment, nice to know people are still watching / learning. - Happy Cubing!
by far the best tutorial on f2l, most of the other vids confused me, and the maker even confused themselves and sucked at giving instructions and labelled every piece as "this piece" that i didn't know which exact cubelet they were referring to, YOU ARE AMAZING!!
You are very welcome! Glad the video was able to help out. Once you get more into advanced F2L, I have a series on that as well. Good luck and Happy Cubing!
After watching a ton of "beginner" videos which gloss over this stuff, I'm delighted/relieved to find your video. And the cube icon in the top left helps me jump around over and over. This is exactly what I hoped to find. THANK YOU!!
Hey, that's exactly why I put that icon up there! Glad someone actually got some use out of it :) And thanks for the comment, glad the videos are helping. Let me know if you have any questions or comments on any of the other videos as well. Happy Cubing!
And definetely well deserved! I am able to recognize all the cases at this point however, for example when I am done some of my pairings, i have an edge piece in the middle layer, and i was wondering what is the fastest possible way to get it out, and keep it seperate from the corner. Also, I am around sub 1, do you have any tips to help me get even faster, around sub 40 maybe. Thanks in advance.
Mostly practice but you can start working on learning all 42 of the F2L Cases if you want. I have a series on those as well, but nothing beats just straight practice until around the 40 second mark I would say. Happy Cubing!
I bought a cube 2 weeks ago and comfortable with beginner method so was looking to progress but found a few F2L videos confusing. This one is crystal clear, thank you so much.
For me, this was the best F2L video by far. I guess I needed to learn by "intuition". I watched most of the other ones and was overwhelmed by thinking I needed to memorize 41 algorithms. You broke it down into 3 cases and show the how/why of it working with the practice cube. Many thanks!!
I found the printed instructions very helpful to get my mind around the geometry without having to rewind a video many times. Your verbal presentation is excellent. You aren't speaking in a rush and you keep the terms as simple as possible, The teaching cube with black areas is also a great help in removing distractions from view.
Wow. I've looked at the video several times and it made no sense but I persevered and let the video run until it coincided with the situation I was in and, brilliant, took a hell of a lot of time (half an hour the first time), but it worked. Like most of these things keep practicing and the F2L times will come crashing down. Thanks Caleb. By the way, I'm 74 years old so it's never too late!
Hey, glad the video was helpful! Thanks for the comment and hope your cubing is still going well. And you are right, its never too late to learn something new :P - Happy Cubing
Just saved me a ton of time. I was just about to start memorizing the 41 F2L cases. I even bought an app that explained them. Thank you so much for your video. I sometimes cube in between my lecture studies to give my mind a break. But it takes me around 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Can't wait to go below a minute :)
You are very welcome! Just glad to hear the videos are helping. Once you get to the point of wanting to know each case, I have an advanced series that covers each case in detail here: ruclips.net/video/LhU7WuyQ1T4/видео.html Thanks again for your comment and as always, Happy Cubing!
Thank's so much for this. After watching loads of different videos. This is the one that explains f2l best for me. I also downloaded the document and printed it out..... finally I have managed to get my head around f2l. I can now do it without referring to the guide.... Now I just have to practice, practice, practice to be able to do it intuitively.. thanks again for the great video
You are very welcome! Glad the videos are still helping people out. If you want to go further down the rabbit hole, I have an entire series breaking down each F2L case in more detail. Good luck and Happy Cubing!
omg thank you i have tried and tried to learn this with more than 100 videos. And I just learned it watching this video because of the detailed explaining :)
Thank you!!!! this method is great! I was hesitant to learn F2L but this method made the first step very enjoyable, very happy to have something so well organized as stepping stone to see some quick results to continue constructing more advanced skills.
Just started cubing, really wanna learn cfop, been struggling with f2l, I've watched loads of videos that make it sound way more complicated, this is by far the best tutorial I've seen by a mile! Thanks a lot.
THANK YOU!! What a treasure! A way to learn F2L without all the algorithms. I've never seen a video that even comes close to your excellent instructional presentation. And an excellent document to go with it. This is perfect. I'm really excited and anxious to learn this method!!
Very helpful, esp. the docs--thanks!. I sat with the four cases in my lap printed out and learned over the weekend. Now I can do it w/o the docs. I noticed the two 'easy' cases with different colors can be solved with the edge opposite and sometimes left--if one doesn't solve try moving the edge to the other position. Then I realized on same color that the keyword "NOT" reminded me white goes to NOT the (same) top colors! That helped memorize that case. Then finally white on top, "match the colors." A simple way to remember how to set up the cases. I noticed sometimes the last (4th) f2l pair is not in the top and I sometimes used my old daisy beginners method to quickly finish the f2l. Don't know if this is a skill or a pitfall. A friend sent me a Rubik's for xmas and by January somewhere I mastered the daisy method, then solved the 4x4 through 10x10 and the megaminx--some took days! Now I'm trying to improve my pathetic speed from 3 minutes or less to maybe a minute something (best daisy solve now 1.40). But I'm back to 5+ minute solves with f2l--hope that improves. (I'm 62 and slow). Thanks again.
Best vid in my life. I have been trying to learn f2l from a month and this one helped cause it was easy to understand. The other video's were not good like this one. Thanks helped a lot I learned f2l finally
Wow, best vid of someones life, thank you! And you are very welcome. I had the same problem when I was starting so decided to make my own video that made sense to me. Glad it was able to help you out. Happy Cubing!
This video is very helpful to me (I know the Beginner method and am trying to improve and get into CFOP). I especially appreciate your document-format version of this info, because I like to study the info and try it out on a cube without looking at the video all the time. Having something in writing is VERY helpful. Thanks!!
Wow, thanks for the compliment! Glad the videos are helping out. I have an Advanced F2L series that covers each case in detail as well: ruclips.net/video/LhU7WuyQ1T4/видео.html Hope this helps - Happy Cubing!
This video was extremely helpful. Most other videos jump right into advanced f2l and left me completely lost. I am going to spend a day or so getting used to this method and then I will move on to your advanced f2l tutorial. Best f2l tutorial by far! +1 sub
Wow, thanks for the compliment. Just glad the videos are helping people out. Let me know if you have any questions and Ill try to help out. Happy Cubing!
Great video Calab. I've been able to solve the cube since I first got one way back in 1980, I taught myself, and I can perform it in about 2 minutes. All of the algorithms I know, I figured out myself, by taking a cube apart, putting it back together again in a done state, then moved a piece out of the top layer, and back in again a different way to see what it altered. I then figured out that I needed to do corners first, then the edges. I only knew one alg that did edges only, I didn't know of any other ways of doing corers on their own. Anyway, cut to the chase, this is a great video. But you don't actually need your full colour cube to explain it. The one you designed for the process is brilliant and much less distracting. Thanks for taking the time to make the video and posting it.
I Had youtube try to auto fix the focusing issue, we will see how they do. I figured out how to fix this issue and it wont be part of my next vids. Dang Auto focus!
+Caleb Miller K, they Youttube auto fix shaky video thing didnt work out so I am reverting it back. If items look like they are being cut off the screen, well, they are. The normal video should be back with its constant focus shortly :)
I finished my first two lines last night and am getting it down today. Without this video I'd have most likely never finished. I can't thank you enough!
Hi Caleb.. Its been a wonderful tutorial that you have provided!! At first things were really confusing and I think the different scenarios and the edge piece positioning makes this thing a a bit complex. But not until one watches the video carefully and practice it repeatedly. I literally stopped doing the beginners method and concentrated solely on solving the cross and the F2L. N now its getting easier by every solve. Also I would like to thank Hubert Cumberdale for the sum up. It's indeed helpful.. Moreover your patience in explaining this has been greatly appreciated by this beginner cuber.. Cheers!!!
I have one on the OLL but have not done a PLL series yet. You can see the OLL series here: ruclips.net/video/TjlsLbDF1To/видео.html The second video in that series covers 2 look OLL. For PLL CyotheKing and Xtowncuber have pretty good videos out there. Happy Cubing!
I have watched F2L video tutorials a lot already from different channels and this is the only tutorial I really understood and made it. Thank you! Time to practice ❤️
Thank you for making this, this is a great system to teach F2L and I was able to pick it up after watching your video a few times. It is wonderfully clear and easy to follow!
I enjoyed watching this. I have developed my own version of intuitive F2L and have been getting faster but I've definitely picked up some more efficient ways of doing things by watching your vid. Thanks!
Hi I just wanted to say thank you before this video i have been looking for an f2L tutorial as simple as this one because I'm really not that smart but now I can do f2L with the vid in front of me so if I keep practicing I will b able to do it. by myself TY
I rarely comment on video's but yours has been incredibly helpful. My 9-year old son is very fond of cubing (beginners 3 layer method). But finding a good tutorial for cfop was harder than expected. Now mommy understands I will be able to teach him beginners f2l :-)
Hey, thanks for the comment! Glad the video was able to help you out. Good luck, and if he ever wants to get more advanced I have videos on that as well (Advanced F2L: ruclips.net/video/LhU7WuyQ1T4/видео.html ). Good luck with the teaching and Happy cubing!
Building on Hubert Cumberdale's excellent summary of this excellent video, I added all the steps and all the places where you should skip to the next step. This is the complete algorithm. (obviously you must still watch the video or you won't understand the steps) STEP 1 SETUP (3:04) if both corner and edge pieces are on the top, move on to BOTH PIECES ON TOP otherwise, rotate cube so that piece is facing you and on the right (a corner piece will be in the lower right, an edge piece will be in the middle right) make sure that the other half of the pair is not on the bottom right or middle top of the upper face (if it is, rotate the upper face) lift slot move top layer once (clockwise) lower slot repeat until both pieces are on the top BOTH PIECES ON TOP (5:45) if the two pieces are on the top and separated, move on to STEP 2 if the two pieces are not separated, white over slot lift slot move top twice lower slot continue to STEP 2 STEP 2 WHITE (7:47) line up edge face slot to you and edge piece on left or right lift slot fix corner lower slot continue to STEP 3 SAME (9:38) don't line up edge, face white towards the color that is NOT on top face slot towards you so that corner piece is not visible lift slot rotate top so that edge is in the back middle position lower slot continue to STEP 3 DIFFERENT (12:20) line up edge face slot to you and edge piece on left or right if you see white, proceed directly to EASY CASE INSERTION otherwise, lift slot turn top until you see white lower slot continue to STEP 3 STEP 3 EASY CASE INSERTION (15:15) white over slot slot faces you and you cant see white lift slot move top until you see white lower slot PAIR INSERTION (16:35) white over slot rotate cube so we can see white move top so we can see the entire pair lift slot move top until you see white lower slot
Wow Metacarcinus Magister, thanks for the effort! I will update the video description and pin this comment to that it might help others. Additionally, credit to Hubert Cumberdale for the original comment outlining this stuff. I thank you both for your help. -Happy Cubing!
Apparently I can't update the video description because RUclips says it is too long. I have pinned this comment though. Thanks again for the contribution - Happy Cubing!
I just want to thank you for your Video wish I found really useful. Thanks to your video I’m now able to use F2L. I just started solving the Rubiks for about 3 weeks and I’m trying new and faster ways of solving the cube. Thanks
4:42 lifting bottom slot to top 6:20 diffrent colours separation top right 7:51 pairing white on top 9:39 pairing white on side , colours same 12:30 pairing white on side, colours not same 13:35 white facing me top left corner, other peice right middle on top 16:42 insertion 14:45 easy case insertion
You are welcome! Welcome to the community. I have a whole set of Advanced F2L videos you can reference when you get there. Any questions, let me know. Good luck and Happy Cubing!
Thank you very much and welcome to cubing! Let me know if you have any questions and I would be more than happy to help. Glad the videos are useful - Happy Cubing!
it is a work in progress I am 53 yrs old I learned by the book back in 1981 finally learning both 2fl and 2 look pll and oll average time now is around minute and half getting better but old lol I have a 2fl cube and a cross cube just doing same moves over and over again lol
Absolutely AWESOME tutorial for F2L! Breaks it down into easy to follow steps & NO bucket fulls of complex algorithms to learn. 3 case to identify & then just hide, rotate & unhide to pair up the pieces & then great guides to "easy insert" & "insert". After less than 2 hours I now understand & can do F2L (lots more practice needed to get slick at it tho). The only thing that could have made this video better (& please don't take this as criticism :-) )would have been explaining on the "White side up" part that the outer slice turn direction is important ie R or R', or L or L' Thanks Caleb & thanks for taking the taking the time & effort to make this video, also using a cube with most of the stickers removed, is pure genius & makes it so easy to follow! Thanks again! Padders If this confuses anyone or makes their brain hurt then cubing just isn't for you.
Wow, thanks for the compliment Padders, glad the video was able to help out! I always hated algs so wanted to break it down in a different way. - Happy Cubing!
I just mastered the beginners method and my high score was one minute twenty seconds and I wasn’t impressed with myself anymore because I was used to it. So I wanted to learn f2l I watched every video but they were complicated for me and they weren’t explaining enough but this video he explained everything so well I know how to do it. Now just to remember and practice...
This is a very good tutorial. But you over-explain a lot of things. I like it that you take your time, but sometimes I get the feeling like I'm treated like a 4 year old because of the way you repeat things and simplify it. But, as I said in the beginning, the tutorial is great. You explain it in a way everyone can understand. And you've really helped me get into f2l :D Thanks man!
+Animiles Thank you! I wanted to make sure it was helpful to people of all skill levels, so yeah, at times it is a bit slow. The Advanced series I have is a little less pandering, but I still go slow to make sure the concepts are understood correctly. I am glad it helped and as always, Happy Cubing!
Glad to hear the videos are still helping people out. I have an advanced playlist on each F2L case broken down, an an OLL playlist too if you want to dive a bit deeper. Happy Cubing!
Thank you for making this tutorial dude it helped so much i know how to do f2l now, all the other tutorials have unclear steps and they do it too fast, appreciate the vid dude!
You are very welcome! I felt the same way, felt like everyone was all over the place. Everyone learns a bit differently though, so as long as the videos are still helping out, I'm glad! - Happy Cubing
You are very welcome. Just glad the video was able to make sense of the complicated mess that is Beginners F2L. It is all downhill from here ;) Happy Cubing!
Brilliant video, this is exactly the kind of intro to F2L I have been looking for. I'll give it a try and let you know how it goes. My avg is 1:15 right now.
I think for beginner like me, the most difficult step is the set up. It needs quick analysis. But soon after the set up is ready, pairing and inserting are very easy. By the way it's the best f2l tutorial i've ever seen. I hope you would make some tutorial like this video for OLL and PLL. I can't memorize so many algorythms. Thank you....
+Ari Wibowo I am still learning full OLL at this point, but I thought about doing a PLL series. There are plenty of great videos out there but all of them are algorithm memorization, so I will think about how I could structure some videos for intuitive PLL. All OLL can be taught intuitively btw, its just removing a pair and re-inserting it a different way. "best f2l tutorial i've ever seen"....., I like that :) Thanks! I have some case by case series on my channel as well. Either way, Happy Cubing!
Thanks for no distracting background music during your explanation. Makes it much easier to concentrate. It’s a bit confusing at 4.13 when you say a piece can’t be here or here- I think you’re talking about both edge pieces and corner pieces but are you saying an edge can never be at the back, ever?
This addresses moving a piece out of the first or second layer and putting it on the top layer. I am talking about both types of pieces, and they cant be in the back when moving a piece from one of the lower layers to the top. There is always at least one edge piece in the back, just make sure its not the partner to the one you are moving out of the bottom layers. Really this step is just to get both pieces (corner and edge) on the top layer an separated. You could do this in two different steps but it is easier and faster to do it all in one. Hope this made sense. Thanks for the comment and Happy Cubing!
Thanks! Glad it was helpful. I have a more in depth breakdown of each case as well if you are interested in pushing further. Its in my Advanced F2L playlist. Thanks again and Happy Cubing!
So I find i will be able to learn this with this tutorial. I have tried a couple of other tutorials. And I have had real problems. A lot of them are really confusing. I find this one super simple
I am a 74 year old man trying to keep my mind sharp. I have watched many videos on F2L but this is the best I have seen. It might take a while but I think I can finally master it. Thanks for your patience. Great job!

WHITE (7:47)
face slot towards you
line up edge position to left or right
lift slot
fix corner
SAME (9:38)
face white to opposite color on the corner
hide corner and move edge over it
DIFFERENT (12:20)
line up edge
face slot to you and edge piece on left or right
lift slot and turn top until you see white
lower slot
EASY CASE
white over slot
slot faces you and you cant see white
lift slot
move top until you see white
lower slot
Wow, thanks Hubert! I added this to the description and gave you some credit. Thanks a ton - Happy Cubing!
Caleb Miller No problem!

You are very welcome! Glad the video was able to help out. - Happy Cubing!
After watching other videos I was convinced this was impossible to learn but then I came across yours and learned it within an hour. Thanks!
Hey, no problem. Everyone learns different, so just glad the videos are helping out. Happy Cubing!

You are very welcome! You will get faster, just takes practice. Thanks again for the comment - Happy Cubing!
Best video on RUclips on beginner F2L.
Thanks so much Caleb for making this video.
Hey, no problem Dan! Just glad the videos are still helpful. - Happy Cubing
this is the ONLY TUTORIAL THAT HAS MADE SENSE! this is the 20th video ive clicked on
Glad to hear the videos are still helping out! -Happy Cubing
I have an Advanced F2L series that covers each case in detail as well: ruclips.net/video/LhU7WuyQ1T4/видео.html
Hope this helps - Happy Cubing!
Hey, thanks Vincent! Glad the video was able to help out. - Happy Cubing
+Caleb Miller You helped so much
What type of rubix you use
Uploader Man haha u said Rubix it's "Rubiks"
+xXJewels 604Xx haha u wrong its ( Rubik's )
the one video that I can comprehend on RUclips about solving a cube. I appreciate it!
Glad to help - Happy Cubing!
Cheers!!!
Thank you for the wonderful comment! I am just glad the videos are helping people out. You are very welcome. Happy Cubing!
I would like to know if you have tutorial on solving the top layer after applying F2L, like OLL, PLL.. That would be really helpful.
I have one on the OLL but have not done a PLL series yet. You can see the OLL series here: ruclips.net/video/TjlsLbDF1To/видео.html
The second video in that series covers 2 look OLL.
For PLL CyotheKing and Xtowncuber have pretty good videos out there. Happy Cubing!
Very helpful Caleb. Happy Cubing!!
Waww man u really the best thanks loooot it's was si difficult ti me to learn the f2l but with ur tutorials it's soo easy 😍😍😍👍👍👍
Thanks to you, i can actually do F2L. This is such a great video that explains so well in detail and helps me understand so well. Thank you!!
You are very welcome. Glad the videos are still helping people out - Happy Cubing!
I have watched F2L video tutorials a lot already from different channels and this is the only tutorial I really understood and made it. Thank you! Time to practice ❤️
You are very welcome. Glad the video was able to help out and thanks for the compliment! Good luck and Happy Cubing :)
Thank you for making this, this is a great system to teach F2L and I was able to pick it up after watching your video a few times. It is wonderfully clear and easy to follow!
You are very welcome. Glad the video was helpful and thanks for the comment - Happy Cubing!
I enjoyed watching this. I have developed my own version of intuitive F2L and have been getting faster but I've definitely picked up some more efficient ways of doing things by watching your vid. Thanks!
You are welcome Paul! Just glad the videos are helping out. Happy Cubing!
Hi I just wanted to say thank you before this video i have been looking for an f2L tutorial as simple as this one because I'm really not that smart but now I can do f2L with the vid in front of me so if I keep practicing I will b able to do it. by myself TY
You are very welcome! I learned this way and figured it might be able to help other people out as well. Glad it helped. Happy Cubing!
I gave up on F2L for a while when I saw all the other videos and here you just helped me do it in half an hour smh
Sweet! Glad the video was able to help out. - Happy Cubing!
That was the best tutorial I’ve ever found because other people just rush it and we don’t understand but now I’ve got it thanks to your video
Really good video, i've watched every single f2l tutorial video on youtube and you're the the one that teached me
Thanks! Glad the videos are still helping out. Happy Cubing!
Best F2L video on RUclips.
Thank you bro for teaching F12 tutorial, I knew basic cube moves but even nobody could not teach like this. You such a good guider.
I finally found this video again!! The best explanation of F2l In my opinion. Definitely bookmarking this time.
Thanks! Glad the video is still helping out. Happy Cubing!
Building on Hubert Cumberdale's excellent summary of this excellent video, I added all the steps and all the places where you should skip to the next step. This is the complete algorithm. (obviously you must still watch the video or you won't understand the steps)
STEP 1
SETUP (3:04)
if both corner and edge pieces are on the top, move on to BOTH PIECES ON TOP
otherwise,
rotate cube so that piece is facing you and on the right (a corner piece will be in the lower right, an edge piece will be in the middle right)
make sure that the other half of the pair is not on the bottom right or middle top of the upper face (if it is, rotate the upper face)
lift slot
move top layer once (clockwise)
lower slot
repeat until both pieces are on the top
BOTH PIECES ON TOP (5:45)
if the two pieces are on the top and separated, move on to STEP 2
if the two pieces are not separated,
white over slot
lift slot
move top twice
lower slot
continue to STEP 2
STEP 2
WHITE (7:47)
line up edge
face slot to you and edge piece on left or right
lift slot
fix corner
lower slot
continue to STEP 3
SAME (9:38)
don't line up edge, face white towards the color that is NOT on top
face slot towards you so that corner piece is not visible
lift slot
rotate top so that edge is in the back middle position
lower slot
continue to STEP 3
DIFFERENT (12:20)
line up edge
face slot to you and edge piece on left or right
if you see white, proceed directly to EASY CASE INSERTION
otherwise,
lift slot
turn top until you see white
lower slot
continue to STEP 3
STEP 3
EASY CASE INSERTION (15:15)
white over slot
slot faces you and you cant see white
lift slot
move top until you see white
lower slot
PAIR INSERTION (16:35)
white over slot
rotate cube so we can see white
move top so we can see the entire pair
lift slot
move top until you see white
lower slot
Thanks
You are very welcome! Glad the video helped out. - Happy Cubing
4:42 lifting bottom slot to top
6:20 diffrent colours separation top right
7:51 pairing white on top
9:39 pairing white on side , colours same
12:30 pairing white on side, colours not same
13:35 white facing me top left corner, other peice right middle on top
16:42 insertion
14:45 easy case insertion
It is a very clear explanation and thorough illustration. Thanks, Caleb Miller.
Thank you so much I have been looking at so many videos and none of them made sense but when I saw this one it just clicked thank you
You are welcome! Glad the video helped - Happy Cubing :P

Thanks Adan - Just glad the videos are helping out. Happy Cubing!
Thank! It clears some confusion as I just started cubing a week ago!
You are welcome! Welcome to the community. I have a whole set of Advanced F2L videos you can reference when you get there. Any questions, let me know. Good luck and Happy Cubing!
I've really been wanting to get into cubing, but I had no idea how on earth to start f2l, but you've totally helped me! Thank you so much!
Thank you very much and welcome to cubing! Let me know if you have any questions and I would be more than happy to help. Glad the videos are useful - Happy Cubing!
Thank you so much. This actually helped the most out of every video that I watched.
Hey, thanks Andy! Glad the video was helpful. - Happy Cubing
Dude you are a freaking legend. Thanks so much man.
Wow, legend. I'll take it! Just glad the video helped. Happy Cubing!
Thanks for the video, one of the best explanations for beginner F2L I have found yet.
Hey, thanks Fernando! Glad the videos are still helping out. -Happy Cubing!
it is a work in progress I am 53 yrs old I learned by the book back in 1981 finally learning both 2fl and 2 look pll and oll average time now is around minute and half getting better but old lol I have a 2fl cube and a cross cube just doing same moves over and over again lol
This video makes so much more sense than any of the others! Thank you!!!
You are welcome! Just glad the videos are still helping people out. Happy Cubing!
The only thing that could have made this video better (& please don't take this as criticism :-) )would have been explaining on the "White side up" part that the outer slice turn direction is important ie R or R', or L or L'
Thanks Caleb & thanks for taking the taking the time & effort to make this video, also using a cube with most of the stickers removed, is pure genius & makes it so easy to follow!
Thanks again! Padders
If this confuses anyone or makes their brain hurt then cubing just isn't for you.
Now just to remember and practice...
it sums up all of the moves. thanks for making it more significant and accurate. made me understand it all
You are welcome. Glad the video helped. Happy Cubing!
And you've really helped me get into f2l :D
Thanks man!
This was so helpful!!! I was having the hardest time understanding F2L. Please keep making videos!
Glad to hear the videos are still helping people out. I have an advanced playlist on each F2L case broken down, an an OLL playlist too if you want to dive a bit deeper. Happy Cubing!
This is the best video for f2l bcoz its not complicated like others.
Well thank you very much! Glad the videos are still helping out. - Happy Cubing
I'm still kind of confused but I understand this video better than most
DEFINETELY 100% HELPED ME THANKS BRUH THIS IS THE MOST SIMPLIFIED VERSION THAT I COULD FIND!
You are welcome. Let me know if you have any questions - Happy Cubing!
Very helpful, but I am still having trouble with the last slot/ Last pair?? Anyone?? Not messing up the rest of the cube.
I got it very easy and here i thought i would never learn F2l but look at me now memorizing your simple steps u definetly earned a sub Caleb😉
Good deal! Always happy to hear that the videos are still helping people out. - Happy Cubing!
I would like to praise you for all your great work. Thank you very much
You are very welcome! Glad the videos are still helping out - Happy Cubing!
Most helpful f2l tutorial I have seen, thank you sir
You are very welcome. Just glad the video was able to make sense of the complicated mess that is Beginners F2L. It is all downhill from here ;) Happy Cubing!
Best beginners F2L vid on youtube! thanks Caleb
Hey, thanks! - Happy Cubing
Thank you so much this video is the only video that I could understand f2l i will tell my friends about this thank you
You are very welcome. Just glad the videos are helping. Happy Cubing!
Brilliant video, this is exactly the kind of intro to F2L I have been looking for. I'll give it a try and let you know how it goes. My avg is 1:15 right now.
+unclvinny Great to hear that you liked it! Best of luck and as always, Happy Cubing.
We have the same average XD
Old cube noob here, starting to get a handle on F2L pairs now at last, thank you!
Will check your other vids for sure.
+tubeytubetuber Glad I could help! Happy cubing!
Very well explained, first time I understood the F2L now
Thanks Vimal! Glad the videos are still helping out. Happy Cubing!
Such a well done video. Cleared things up and makes moving on from the rookie method easier
Thanks! Glad it was helpful. I have a more in depth breakdown of each case as well if you are interested in pushing further. Its in my Advanced F2L playlist. Thanks again and Happy Cubing!
This video is such a huge help!! You've explained, and broken this down incredibly well! : ) Thank you!!
You are welcome! Glad the video is helping out. Happy Cubing!
Dude, thank you. This video was the best explanation for us who need it spelt out. Thanks again, Im finally figuring it out

Best beginner F2L video out there
Thanks for the compliment woodjj. Glad the video could be of some use. - Happy Cubing!
I tried to do it your way and it kind of helped. Practicing really helped me the most though. Nothing like raw practice.
Agreed. Nothing beats practice. Happy Cubing!
*Practising

Thanks! Glad the videos are still helping out - Happy Cubing
Thanks man! For the special cases, I just use beginners method but you helped me a lot with the regular cases. Thank you so much!
6:10
nvm, you helped me with the special cases too! Thanks!
Hey, no problem. I have a video on each case in my advanced series as well. Glad the videos are helping out! - Happy Cubing
