Jamaica's Alia Atkinson - First Black Female World Swimming Champion

Alia Atkinson became the first black woman to win a world swimming title after she won the 100 metre breaststroke at the 12th FINA Short Course World Championship in Doha, equaling the world record in the process. CVM-TV's Donald Oliver reports.

I get "goose bumps" watching this. So proud of Alia Atkinson. I remember her in the recent Olympics( there was talk of funding for her (including that needed for the special swimming suits) and was hoping that she would finally win a title. It finally happened! So proud of this young lady :)
