Tia divorced her husband thinking that men would be knocking doors down to get to her. When that didn't happen, she started doing way too much with all the dancing and outfits trying to PROVE that she is happy with her decision. She is being selfish in her choices by the things that she says out loud, knowing that she has children that will see. She regrets her choice, but is too embarrassed to admit it.

I think it’s great for Tia to explore who she is as a single woman. Marriage can be stifling, especially if it’s all you’ve ever known. HOWEVER, Tia is now coming across a bit inauthentic. I am so happy for Cory's new beginning in life. He was able to heal and move on. Tia kept calling him a narcissist meanwhile she's the narcissist. In my opinion, I feel that Tia became jealous of Cory because he was getting more acting roles, such as "Chi" and the original movie, "Karen." She also admitted that it took her years to get the same salary that Cory was making. The roles were changing inside their home. At one time, he was dependent on her financially, and then suddenly, he wasn't. Some women liked being the "Boss," and I think that Tia felt she was losing that power she once had.
