I see people praising some songs from Resolution if not the whole album, but one track that I never see getting any individual recognition it deserves from that record is 'King Me'. Easily one of the best on that album.

I know this is gonna sound weird...but one of the crabs that lives on my dad's nutsack plays drums. And he is literally the sickest metal playing crab i have ever heard. If your really quiet, you can just faintly hear him rocking out on his tiny drum set from his home on my dad's beanbag.
The reason I love Lamb of God is that they never change in quality, all their albums are just as good as each other, they're all fucking masterpieces of metal

I usually judge (and like) a song by the rythm, sounds, and how the musical instruments work together before than the lyrics. But this lyrics are pure, insane and powerful. Maybe its the first time I love a song for the lyrics before than other stuff. This song can be describe in three words: LAMB OF FUCKINGOD!
The Bear refers to the USSR, what would become the Czech Republic was in Europe's Eastern Bloc.
The Blitzkrieg is, who else, the Nazis.
The Holy Father is the Holy Roman Empire.
"Passed down through iron fists" refers to how all three of these nations were powerful regimes that ultimately fell due to their own weight.

Just saw LoG (for the 6th time) last night. Awesome show (as usual). bought my shirt... as usual. smoked, moshed & drank too much... as usual. ;) I figured I did okay for a 55 year old. lol.
My only regret is that they didn't play more off the the new release. But, their pattern seems to be after they release their next release on THAT tour, they'll give us quite a few trax off Sturm und Drang. (at least, I hope so. I really am loving the Sturm und Drang).

+Aaron O'Rourke actually, Randy is singing specifically about the guillotine in Pankrác prison, where he was remanded until trial in his manslaughter case. I don't read this as "European whites are the devil" at all, he's singing about a specific place that was a part of some true horrors for about a hundred years. Context.

Sturm Und Drang is not just one of the best metal albums of all time, but one of the best albums in history - period. I'm also reading Randy's book. Highly recommended. It's an awesome read.
