@@Birzo754 that's what made the game even better in my opinion 😅. Sure I didn't like the save points, but I enjoyed always finding a way to beat someone so I wouldn't see the cutscenes anymore.

7:25 I pity Kratos, losing his family once is something but losing them again is something else, it's way more than terrible that I almost cried but what pissed me off and was the final straw was when Athena, Helios and the other gods only cared about retrieving their relics and left Kratos tired and powerless though they could've healed him, this game shows to what extent the Olympians are dicks and ungrateful pricks except Zeus who only got infected by the evils that were released when Pandora's box was opened because of both his and Athena's foolishness and stupidity!!!!!!

He didn't seem to be angry in GOW 1 since Kratos had a good reason to finish her off, but after he got infected by Pandora's box evil he somehow accused him for murdering her when he tried to find good reasons to kill Kratos.

The piece of GOW Original theme which played in the ending scene (when helios took back his shield) are the same theme when helios shouted "Behold The Glory of Helios!", making his entrance to battle the titan perses in GOW 3

To be fair, their promise was to forgive him of his sins. His past really is a burden he brought on himself. Putting the murder of his family aside, the rest were all things he had done willingly when serving Ares.
@@MrDibara Yeah, but I think the white ash of his wife and child that covers his skin is still a curse, one that was casted on him by an olympian oracle. I think that was what kept those visions coming back up. It was the constant reminder of his sins and he wanted the Olympians to rid him of the white ash that still plagues him.

For the record this game really doesn't portray Persephone's character. She was one of the few nice Greek gods.
That's the thing. In this game, Persephone was nice but eventually became evil after years of being forced to live in the Underworld married to Hades, who she did not like. By the way, Hades was pissed. He mentioned how he was going to rip Kratos apart for killing his wife and queen. Too bad Kratos killed him instead.
True but in Greek Myth Persephone never becomes evil she even ends up falling in love with Hades.
Like I said, in this game. This story. Not the actual one. Do people just want to say and believe what they wish while ignoring blatant differences are supposed to be blatant? Does it make them feel clever if they bash a different story for being different?

Actually, the producers had already planned this game when the first God of War came out. There is a secret on the original God of War which allows you to watch the trailers for God of War Chains of Olympus , Ghost of Sparta and God of War II in the "Treasures" section. So yes, the gods were really stupid.

Neverless, Kratos didn't had the *power* to kill gods here, was able due to Zeus' Gaunlet. He would later adquire that power on GoW I by openning Pandora's Box

Kratos didn't have the power to kill a god at that time. He opened the Pandora's Box in the first game, that grants he the power to kill a god. But before that he killed Persephone in Chains of Olympus.
It says on the wiki that helios helped him by weakening persephone with his light.

Just finished this on my ps vita on hard mode. Let me tell ya. This game was fuckin hard(extremely stressful) ,but the satisfaction at the end is worth it. If you new to the franchise i suggest you start on the normal difficulty level.

Now I remember the line in GoW 1 after defeating Ares "Kratos has done the impossible - a mortal defeating a god". Well, actually Kratos had already defeated the god - Percephone
Actually, this is the trouble with any universe where the spin-off is a prequel: It simply does not count. Let me give you an example: Kratos retained the elements that he received in the ascent, but he did not use them in those parts where he had the blades of chaos.

6:17 - "What good is the promise of an Olympian?" You're one to ask that Atlas, seeing as later on when Hercules asks you to gather the Apples of Hera and does the whole switcheroo by promising to bear the burden of the world again just so he can make a padding on his shoulders.
Actually come to think of it, how does that play out in the GOW timeline? Hercules mentions it in his boss battle in GOW 3 but seeing as Atlas is over a hundred times his size in this version the mechanics of Hercules taking his burden seem a bit wonky.

He desecrated Elysian Fields, traumatized his daughter and killed the souls to get his power again. He can’t go back. Also Hades really hates him now so he really can’t go to the underworld anymore.

I got a few questions so did Kratos get his strength when he first received the blades of chaos because after seeing what he can do he could’ve taken out the whole Barbarian army. Also in GOW II he literally was about to kill Zeus but Athena got in the way, so why does he need the box in 3? Or is it implied somewhere that the blade can’t kill him? My last question is is Zeus unable to take gods full power because seeing how he had to trick Kratos to put all his god’s power in the blade shouldn’t he not have the power of a Demi god as well? ( sorry for the grammar was too lazy to go back)
I do believe his potential as Demigod awaken when he got the blades. I'm sure Ares gave him a power boost too but He didn'T expect him to become that strong. For Zeus, is a good question. If I remember right, Hephaestus told him to use the Flame of Olympus since it could kill any god. Zeus have survived being stab by the Blades of Athena and the blade of Olympus. So I think Kratos though he need something stronger. And last question, I think he only took the powers of the god of war that he gave Kratos. He put half into the Colossus and made Kratos put half into the blade. Then the blade adsorbed the other half when He killed the colossus. Therefore all the power of the god of war was put into the blade. But the abilities Kratos was born with stood there with him. This is just my Hypothesis.

This boss fight was frustrating for me. I spent hours trying to figure out what I had to do in the last part of the fight. I would never imagine I just had to use the shield. Ridiculous.🤬

Who Am i ? he get fucked over either way in every game in ascension the memories of his nightmares came back in chains of olympus he had to abandon his daughter to save the world in 1 he was denied the memory of his nightmares to be gone in ghost of sparta his brother died in front of his own eyes in the 2 it happened at the beginning he was betrayed by zeus and in 3 the world stands in ruins

Is kind of weird how Kratos killed a god way before he faced Ares.
Since this game takes place seemingly before GOW1 his great feat of killing a god is kind of undermined in that game, considering he had done it before.
Not quite as fantastical as Athena puts it in GOW1.
