Today I am going to share my Amazon FBA horror story and how Amazon Suspended my Amazon Listing. I was doing $20,000 in sales and overnight it went to $0.

Amazon needs to protect their sellers about these issues it’s straight fraud in my opinion
Yeah it’s tough sometimes but since then I haven’t had any crazy issues!!
@@TrevinPeterson If they have already verified that the copywrite was false and your listing was valid, they should have plug where if someone files another copywrite, your listing will stay active while Amazon verfies it and if it is a valid copywrite THEN AND ONLY THEN your listing should be removed.
I have heard of people getting their entire inventory bought out and then cancelled over and over. They found that it was a very big seller doing this. Like the big seller had a person that they pay to do this all day long to competion. I wish Amazon would do something about these people. The person had to just shut down their listing.
Yeah that would be a bummer! Crazy what people will do for money. Haha
yeah, but you can set limit like 4,5 or 9 items etc.

It's not that, it saw that as competition and losing profit. Instead of improving their own product to increase sales, they will try to remove the competition in any way they can.
I must say, this have put me in fear of starting but to be successful one have to conquer fear!
That’s the goal of the video! Either motivates you to start or I save you time from not starting!

i had also competitors who sabotage my producs too, changed description change fotos etc....or product category. i did not know how they did it, but obviously their are alot sellers like that !!!

My rank really got affected and then the category got messed up and then my indexing was all messed up and then since then getting my rank bank up has been a slow grind!!

Hi Trevin, 4 weeks ago two of my main products were taken down by Amazon. These products sold around 5k per day. My company in Australia manufacturer’s these products and employees 5 people.
I tried to get my listings reinstated and wasn’t successful. My product is a Class2 medical product which requires 510k FDA approval. Im 2 years into the approval process with only 6 to 8 months to go.
I’m in the process of creating a Shopify website and are going to have my orders fulfilled by an external company in NY. I'm going to have to use advertising like Facebook adds, Google adds to draw people to my site. Have you ever used influences to promote your products and have you used Shopify?
Seems like no matter what you do in business, you are gonna always some opposition. This is just one of our battles as Amazon sellers. If it was easy, it wouldn't be worth it right?

The most interesting part of the story was me you were just kind of depending on luck and hoping nothing else would happen when you be listed in January which might not have been the case for most sellers.
I think you're example is perfect I don't know anybody selling on Amazon who had not been suspended but I also know many people who do not sell on Amazon anymore because they can go or have have gone bankrupt which you could have if potentially they did not agree to relist in the new year
I wasn’t depending on luck.. Even if I lost that product I had 30 other products and 2nd account to produce income. All about diversification
sweet spot is good enough but not big enough to attract enough bad attention.
That’s the goal for me now. Haha
Hey Trevin, there is so much competition these days. So, What should be the minimum reviews of product we can start with ?
There really isn’t a set number! But try to stay under 200

@@TrevinPeterson one last question. What if the keyword shows irrelevant products and has high reviews?
I did sign up for seller account and I was very serious about it but I found out that most of accounts were being suspended without reasons being told so I didn’t send my products to Amazon. Probably Amazon wants only big brands on their platform. I think a vast majority of New sellers are likely to be suspended permanently.

@@mattcirino7104 the reality is any business can be shut down overnight by anyone. It’s not just an amazon thing.

@@TrevinPeterson The listing was shut down correct? If your businesses are set to only sell one listing then your not doing it wrong but yes your business would be shut down in a sense. If you were selling more than one lising, your business wouldn't be shut down and just the listing was which would make this video title false. I think that was what Derrick was pointing out.

It’s like owning a convenience store and Pepsi took away your rights to sell their product, even though you sold a ton of Pepsi products daily, then telling everyone your business got shut down when it actuality, you were still open selling everything else still but this one Pepsi products.
