My dad and I once played with a pair of fellas who got in a huge shouting match with the group behind us. The guy in our group pulled out his driver and ran toward the group behind yelling "I'm going to make a f******g popsicle out of you with my driver!"
My dad and I still use that line about a popsicle all the time, too. An all-time classic.

One of the better courses and possibly the best value in the front range. A young Tom Doak (Tron’s Favorite) was part of the crew.
Looking forward to seeing where else the Big Man has gone to in my former home town.

Golf in Denver is so good! The back nine at castle pines are magical❤️
I’ve lived in Colorado for the last 8 years, and for the money, this is the best public course you can find around Denver. Beautifully designed, challenging but fair, no ego. LOVE Riverdale Dunes!
any others on your short list? i took a job out here in August and have bounced alot of the denver city courses but want to play other good public courses
@@johnsmathers21 Check out Fox Hollow, The Meadows, Westwoods, also Green Valley Ranch.
Pro tip: playing at a mile high, switch the range finder into meters and play the same digits 💯

There’s a Pete and PB Dye course called Kearney Hills in Lexington, KY that looks very similar to this. Greens are incredibly undulating. Lexington would honestly be a great strapped episode

Big, you've moved to the right place. Colorado golf is SOOOOO good. I've played this track before and remember a couple of holes but it's been a while. Murphy Creek is really strong, that's a big boy golf course. Walnut Creek (FKA The Heritage) and the Omni course up in Broomfield are really good

Great track! Get up to Pole Creek for some true mountain golf in the summer (best bang for your buck at a great 27 hole course)

6:57 I don't know what it is about Riverdale Dunes because I have had that same crap happen to me 3 times there. I love the course and the price but for some reason they also have the biggest pieces of sh*t play there.

Big Randall dude you moved to Denver area, I've been a fan of NLU for a while...I have a couple thing from the small shop you guys run. I work at westwooods golf course in Arvada CO. Come on by let's do a crash course maybe play a match for the Channel. I.E roughly 10 handicapper.

Lmao you can't just lop off 25 yards because you're at 5,000 feet. Probably less than 1/2 a club difference compared to sea level.
