- In the latest addition of Fried Egg Guides, presented by Precision Pro, Andy Johnson and Garrett Morrison walk us the infinitely interesting CommonGround. Built by Tom Doak and a group of his Renaissance Golf Design crew, this Denver-area public course is a masterclass in how to do compelling design on a limited budget. Home to the Colorado Golf Association, the course is also the home of the Solich Caddie and Leadership Academy, which "creates opportunities for young people to develop leadership skills and enhance character through a foundation built around caddying."
Special thanks to CommonGround Golf Course for photos and resources.

Thank you for highlighting CommonGround. The CGA continues to make the Denver-area and Colorado proud.
The comparison of the third to Chicago golf’s 12th was mind blowing, thanks Andy.
Love having CG as my home course. Thanks for featuring it!
One of my favorite Denver courses
Great course! And with Youth on Course, kids play this for $5! Thanks for sharing!
One of the videos yet! Seriously, I really learned a lot. Well done!
I drive past this course couple days a week. Great course!!
heck yea... more of this, could use more where I'm from
They failed to mention 3 huge things for this course. 1 being the flood that damaged the whole lower section of the course. Having to grow back in 6-7 holes. The old airforce runway that is now the 7th hole. Finally the old weapons bunker under the green on hole 2.
I think there’s an old Shell’s Wonderful World of Golf that featured the extinct Air Force Course.
Anddddy!
Garrett bears an absolutely uncanny resemblance to Colorado's own Trey Parker.
The filming when they’re talking about the course is super awkward
I love these on TFE. Really makes the courses jump.
Agree. They should acknowledge the camera and talk to it as well. Good content tho. They’ll learn as they go. Love that they are trying new stuff and putting out more video content
Haha, I was thinking the same... Could they have sat any closer together. Great video nonetheless.
