As a 64 year old fart, this music makes me want to get up and dance. It fills me with wonder regarding the creative genius of this band. I've been hooked at the first play of this beautiful tune.
I discovered these guys several years ago and shared this profound discovery by way of Bohemian Like You with my eldest son. He shared back Godless and said he had been listening to them for a long time!! I am replying here just to say 64 is definitely not old. I am 59 and just now discovering this gem from the band. Peace to you! Keep rockin' always!
Why do - not just you, but a lot of "older commenters" - start your comment with your age? Like, do you want some sort of recognition for listening to this music when your body is x number of years old? The only one perpetuating the taboo of age is the person highlighting their age.
Their songs are so simple but yet so complicated in the sense that they are eliciting a variety of feelings. Their melodies are faaantastic. Listening to them non-stop. Best band for me.
I missed out on a ton of great music in the 90s & 00s. I'm just now finding what I missed. The Dandy Warhols just one of many great bands I've newly discovered. It's like Xmas morning and opening presents that have been sitting under the tree for 20 & 30 years.
Bought my first Dandy Warhols vinyl LP today (this album) and it is luscious, warm, and wonderful. So much love was clearly put into in every bit of it. If you see this, Zia, Courtney, Pete, and Brent; thank you. You rock my world.
For me, this song represents a long family trip we've had. I don't know what this trip will bring to me but I'm hopeful. Thanks for everything, The Dandy Warhols. A big hug for everyone! ☺️
I've seen the Dandys twice in Boston and both shows were simply brilliant. They put so much energy into every show. Met Fathead and Zia and they both were extremely nice and gave me autographs. Dandys are the best band to walk the planet and I'm not surprised at the great music they still make 20 years later.
Love the Dandy warhols. Every time I hear one of there songs reminds me of this woman mary I was seeing she was the coolest woman I've ever met and for being in her mid 50s she had a body of a 25 year old!!! Then she disappeared and I've never heard from her in at least 6 year's 😪 Mary schmitz were are you!!! Oh yeah she's responsible for getting me to love the Dandy warhols. She would always play sleep when we were in the moment!!!
Thank you Dandy Warhols for giving us music lovers hope again in still believing you can still be able to create good music in these horrible times of so called mentally painful hearing lousy moosick.
Been a Warhol's fan since they first began, 1994, and yep I'm a fellow Oregonian. Love this signature DW sound! Keep it up, you ALL are my MOST FAVORITE ! This is for you: To be creative means to be in love with life. You can be creative only if you love life enough that you want to enhance its beauty, you want to bring a little more music to it, a little more poetry to it, a little more dance to it. OSHO
Love the atmosphere this tune creates, being carried along with it is really nice, lyrics are pretty clever too "it's the things they don't tell you"- ain't that the truth
Amazing song... really cool American band and always liked them being British :) Don't care if fellow Brits don't like that, just got good taste in things as like lots of American things always.
Fuck yes! After two years of the live versions floating around which I do love, I must admit I am pleasantly surprised by this! Well done gang and sweet bass Zia you have stepped up your game !
Doo de doo de doo doo... So good! When was the last time a song had that as a significant part of the song? Yet this one is still so modern and different from, say, the 60's, at the same time. Completely addictive and also meaningful. Get over as much of your shit as you can.
A very pretty song who takes us but all in softness with an irresistible rythm :-) ! Thanks Each time that i listen to it, i have the impression that it lasts 2 minutes... but no ; in fact, this song is too short so much it's a cool one.

Just hearing this for the first time and I love it. 64 is NOT old.
How often can you find a band where you have to look real hard to find a song you don't like? I haven't found one yet with these guys. Best band EVER

Yep, I've met all four of them between now and 20 years ago, and they're all awesome!
Their melodies are to fucking die for!!!!! They make me feel so drunk.
" They make me feel so drunk"
mate thats fucking poetry.
maybe you're drunk...
Yet another hypnotic gem from the band that has cornered that market.

"Do-do-do-do-do-do-do

So cool- genius! They never lose their spark.
Good song for a long drive down a lonely desert road...

hahaha cute
To show my age, Crimson and Clover was a song by Tommy James and the Shondells. One of my favorites when I was a kid.
"Dandy Warhols"는 놀랍습니다! 저는 이 노래와 그 어쿠스틱 버전을 정말 좋아합니다. 감동적인 음악을 만들어주셔서 감사합니다.

Feels ike a journey through a desert. Gives me a middle eastern vibe. This song has a very mature and "stoic" sound I would say.
The Dandys have come full circle and I've enjoyed my 20 year ride. Welcome back.
i think ill buy the cassette just for this song and blast it in the park all day
Discovered this song two years later and it's great rolling tune 😀
Dandy’s really don’t know how to make a bad song. Everything they put out is great
I need to see them live again , been since 2013 at the age of 18 , damn time flies . Their performance doesn't die.

Dandy’s are my go to for so many musical highs. One of the coolest bands ever.
I love this song, I wonder why I didn't know it until now! (although to me it sounds like a re-writing of You Were The Last High)
OMG. LOVE This!
