Thank you for making this video because I'm about to buy yet have a question, please. In terms of the soles' grippiness, is there any difference between the two models? I own Vibram and love that, in all boots that have Vibram soles, they live up true to their billing. So, if the Hogg Microlites have a Vibram sole "mix" (as described on Altberg's site), or they more or less grippy than the Hogg Originals? Or is there no appreciable difference? Thank you in advance.
Good review. Agree fully. I have never worn out a pair of Altbergs. First pair I grew out of. My next pair of Hoggs saved my foot which was trapped under a BMW while sliding along the road. I broke an ankle in several places(bike went in one direction, my body in another) but my first concern was my lower foot as it was sliding down the road with a large cruiser on top of it. some abraision but foot bed, leather and stitching held. Lessons learned? No longer ride a bike with sticky-out cylinders and always ride in Altbergs!
Hi - whats the sizing like with the Hogg All Weather? I wear a 9m in most Altbergs with walking socks but they haven't been able to give me much info on these. Thanks.
Nice review I love altberg boots I have the defender and the bergen. I'm not a biker but love hiking and walking. Stay safe riding my friend.

Didn't realise they were made in the UK.

For me the sizes seem consistent I also have the volume adjusters they sell to custom fit.
