I LOVE HIM STILL...because He first loved me! 🙌💖🙌 Until He calls me home, I will praise and live for my Lord Jesus!

Thanks for all the comments guys. This is an exceptional tune which Clapton did write after finding peace in his new home. Without a doubt there was spiritual reflection on his part, moving himself closer to God. Larry Howard Glenn Kaiser and Darryl Mansfield are all mighty warriors of God and bring this "secular" tune to heart, to the meat of it, reflecting on The Almighty Creator, The First and Last! Peace to you all
I have just spent 2wks. with Glenn and some other great blues guitarist in sturgis, most amazing time in my life! He is an amazing man, love you bro ,Jeff
I remember seeing Darrel Mansfield with my cousin John Randall at Knotts Berry Farm back in the mid-1980's. What an awesome concert following his "Revelation" release. A couple years later when I was a student at Moody Bible Institute one of my strange roommates with wacky hair and strange way of dressing, etc. asked if I wanted to come with him to JPUSA. I hadn't heard of JPUSA but I had heard of Rez band so I figured if JPUSA Chicago was where Rez band lived it would be worth checking it out. I was glad I did. Understand something: I am originally from California, i.e. the land of "fruits and nuts." We Californias are all liberal wackos right? Well, not everyone. I grew up rather conservative and somewhat puritanical, e.g. where a suit or at least a collared shirt and dockers to church. God forbid if you wore jeans or went dancing or listened to rock music - the fires of hell were lit and burning, etc. Well, we went to JPUSA and I expected it to be less conservative dress-wise and style of worship and all so I wasn't shocked when we went in sat down and there were tattoos everywhere and people with spiked hair, dog collars, pierced this, that, and the other thing. It was fine because they loved the Lord. God really helped me at that moment to shed some of my preconceived ideas of right, wrong, and to see that some things are just no big deal so get over it if you look different than the next person kind of idea. The preacher came out and took the stage. He was dressed in ratty, cut-off (by a rusty chain saw I think) blue jeans and his hair looked like it hadn't seen a brush in years. I was a little freaked at first and then he prayed and started preaching. As he spoke I realized how foolish I had been to focus on his outward appearance. He was none other than Glen Kaiser himself. He wasn't in the spotlight though. The Lord Jesus Christ was clearly in the spotlight. I have sat under some great preachers (Dr. Richard Strauss, Dr. Lehman Strauss, Rev. Dennis Keating, Dr. Joseph Stowell, Dr. Irwin Lutzer, Dr. Charles Stanley, Dr. Luis Palau, Dr. Josh McDowell, Dr. Alistair Begg, Dr. Tony Campolo, Dr. Alice Mathews (she is not technically a preacher I don't believe but she preached a sermon at Bethel Seminary of the East and it was hands down the best, most clear, most understandable to the text sermon I have ever heard), Dr. Charles Swindoll, Dr. Ravi Zacharias, etc. Wow, I never realized how many great leaders, men and women, I have sat under and heard faithfully proclaim the word of God. That just reminded me, I heard Helen Roseveare preach during a chapel service at Moody. That was incredible. Anyway, thanks Darrel Mansfield and Glen Kaiser and friends/fellow musicians for faithfully proclaiming the Word of God. His Word will NOT return void. No emptiness with the Word, the Lord Jesus Christ.
I've always wonder why no other Christian artist haven't done this cover. Then, along comes Kaiser, Mansfield, and Howard to do an excellent rendition of it!
Jesus you thunder up in love the mystery of you Lord who can understand , the healing in your hands the wounds your feet did take for whomsoever will come to your presence with a pure heart to meet Jesus
I've seen them all playing/singing live in my country. Clapton's "Presence of the Lord" given a new direction by Glenn Kaiser of The Resurrection Band and JPUSA, with Larry Howard and Daryl Mansfield. Daryl even played live on the street in a small town, south of my hometown. They're all our brothers in JESUS!
Our GOOD friend, Larry Howard in the Top Hat, now with the Lord Jesus making amazing music in Heaven. Love and Miss you brother Larry. Glenn still kicking it and have been privileged to serve with him at Don Overbye's Music for the soul in sturgis! Amazing men that love Jesus!
Keep running this race that we win, and ALL win whether in this eon or the future ones. We have only two groups of people in the present eon and this earth realm. Those in the box, so to speak... Those in Christ, and those not yet in the "box", or not yet in Christ. When you are in the "box", wherever the "box" is, you are... if it gets placed in Celestial realms, then you are also in the Heavenly realms, seated with him in glory. If the "box" gets crucified, you are there in the "box" and you get crucified with Christ. If the "box" gets buried, you get buried. If the "box" gets raised from the dead, you are raised with Christ. If the "box" gets glorified, guess what? you get glorified and stay that way forever! Why can I confidently say forever? Because he promised to never let you go, once the Father brings you to him, "he will in no-wise cast you out!" No one gets left behind in the whole of the HIS STORY unfolding drama God has put in motion and directs with the counsel of his will. Romans 3:10-18 indicates the condition of the vessels of the dishonor who have not yet been on the potter’s wheel to be remade. Sounds like they are horrible, no? And we could judge them and yet scriptures tell us we were also there before the spirit accomplished his will in us to make of us a new creation. Now why judge, once we realize we were also blind, dead, and lost, and hideous too? We were running away, not fearing God, nor seeking Him. He begins a good work or labor of Love in us, and then sets about renewing our minds by this same spirit that blows withersoever it wills, making each of us a beautiful creation that only He truly knows the depths of all the beauty we will behold in each other in the eons to come and when a time clock is no longer needed. That’s why when Jesus came out of the tomb and Mary thought He was the gardener he just simply spoke her name…”Mary!” He knows and says to us "YOU ARE MINE!" - Brother Paul
