Jesus tells throughout His Word and told us directly in Revelation is only done by overcoming. Are we rich, increased in goods and in need of nothing? Jesus told us to buy gold refined by the fire and the process isn't easy but the results are incredible. Just like an Olympic athlete there is only one way to win the race. So, let's run like we want to win. The prize is far better that a gold covered medal on a cloth strap!
