Wow! Rez Band! This song broke me! Right after I was born again on 7-25-80 I prayed for music to replace Led Zeppelin...the Who...Hendrix etc. I first was shown Keith Greene...then next was Resurrection Band. "Broken Promises" ministered to me so deeply. Then came Bob Dylans "Saved" album. Eventually I ended up at Cornerstone Festival in 1985. It was outside Chicago. I met people from the coolest Christian Rock & Metal bands. I became a local Christian music news reporter. I got to know Glenn & Wendy over the years. My daughter Wendy ended up staying with them at JPUSA's for awhile. Those days at C-Stone were awesome. So many memories and joy with them. 7 stages of music. Take your pick. There was the Sanctuary tent for Praise & Worship...Savior Machine for Goths. Joy Electric for techno. I was blessed to dance on stage while they played. Stryper appeared last C-Stone Fest I attended. I could write a book of the 15 years I got to attend. In the 1990's I had my own Christian Punk/Metal band. EllY & the Phanatix I'm still writing songs and poems...many warning...others praise songs. Thanks Resurrection band Guys & Wendy for being a great part of my life in those daze! Also for getting to hang out with you guys at your trailer in 2001...my last C-Stone. I miss those daze! Blessings to all of you! ♥
Rez Band my fav band of all time! One of their many great songs. From Chicago they brought their unique mix of Hard rock, Blues, with some of the best lyrics ever written in Jesus music the true underground music. Very blessed to have seen them at least 7-8 times as a teenager & young adult. mostly due to a great man Youth Pastor Dave Boswell. Still play all Rez’s albums to this day. Never to late to be a Rezhead! God Bless you guys!
Glad they re-did the synth part in a higher register and/or different sound for the Awaiting Your Reply album. In this it gets a bit lost. This has always been one of my favorite Resurrection Band songs.
Thoroughly enjoyed that. Thank You. I never heard this version but I still found myself singing along. One of my all time favorite songs from one of my all time favorite Bands.
in 1976 in fact Saturday April 10th 1976 and a house at 312 South Salina Street that's no longer there I got born again and I was 15 years old when I look at the resurrection there these groups I think about my baby Christian Years bring like so many Precious Memories
2:53 Look at Glenn and Wendi's babies. Is this a pretty family or what? I don't think I had ever seen this photo before this video. Love this family of Kaisers.
