    I am downwind SUPing in the gorge, currently on the glide 1595 and loving but looking to expand my foil quiver. My buddy is on axis and just went from their png to the spitfire 1100 and loves it. Would the Whizz 1450 or 1200 be comparable? I am 72 kg, riding 7'2" downwinder sls

      I learned to SUP downwind on the Whizz 1450 and find it works great! Super low stall speed but way more manoeuvrability compared to the Glide 1595.
      To complement your 1595, I would say the Whizz 1200 or 1000 could be a great option.

    Can you use this for downwinding too? In plan to buy the 1200 as an all-round one quiver foil...

      Hi Lukas, yes it will work, if you have some basic downwind skills already - the Whizz has a very low stall speed, good pump/drive etc - is obviously smaller than the bigger Glide sizes, but if you are in a windier spot/have some skills then it would for sure work as an allrounder - the bigger 1450 obviously better for pure downwinding, esp beginners -but then not as a one does it all foil.

    Hello Jérôme, I prone foiled the 850 a lot and it's by far the funniest wing you designed ! Is there a 700 coming soon ? As you said those wings are very lifty, for 2-3 ft waves or more the 850 feels already big.

      Hi! Glad you are having fun on your Whizz! Yes we have a 700 which we will add to the range. Coming in Autumn.

    Hello guys, I'm a kite foiler and have a Carve 2.0 1100 which I looove, paired with the 60 Fuse, its awesome indeed. I recently had a demo of the 1000 Whizz and ooo mama, loved it also, amazing roll, its something else man,,, so much so I'd love to get a compliment to my 1100 Carve with a Whizz. Anyway, my question regarding sizing,,,, would the 1200 Whizz be a compliment to the 1100 Carve or too similar or should another size be considered? Will the 1200 Whizz have a better bottom end so to speak. I'm a heavy dude and thinking I'd love to get a lighter winds too with small waves and with the way the Whizz performs, with its amazing rail to rail turns, I'd love your opinions on sizing? Thanks for your amazing work and I look forward to your reply!

      Hi there, glad you like it - the 1200 Whizz is quite a bit more powerful than the Carve 1100 for sure, especially for kiting. Has better bottom end/lower stall speed and more pump for sure.
      Other option is the Carve 2.0 1400, a great light wind foil, but not as roll sensitive, which you mention you prefer, just mentioning it.

    What size fuse would you recommend for the 1000 Whizz please ?

    • @BonieuxJerome

      I personally ride it mainly with the 66cm and that is what I would recommend for most riders. Our most advanced team riders are also using the 60cm fuse for maximum manoeuvrability.

    How do you feel about the small Whizz sizes for windfoil in swell?

    • @BonieuxJerome
      @BonieuxJerome 2 месяца назад

      They work amazing! As soon as you flag your wing, the Whizz takes over and makes it super easy to stay on the swell, with tons of manoeuvrability.

      Thank you. You did note that I said Wind (surf) foil? Would the Whizz or the Carve be better when using a sail rather than a wing, but still riding swell?

      Oops sorry, though you meant wingfoiling. Haven't tried that to be honest, but it could be a little too loose in roll for windsurf foiling?? I would probably recommend the Carve or Glide for that, but if you get a chance to demo one, please let us know how it worked out for you.
