What a bleesing it is that with your best friends you found an emblematic band. What a bleesing to know with them the glory and success. What a bleesing it is to watch the time with them and grow old together. What a bleesing to be able to create music with your best friends to brighten the lives of so many people. It's true, MCA's death wasn't a bleesing, but the gift of his presence for 47 years will always be appreciated.
Thanks MCA, Mike D and Adrock for so many memories...but above all for being our unforgettable and fun Beastie Boys 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

It looked like he gave good grades to all his friends. The fact that he gave a higher grade to Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince than to Public Enemy and the Beastie Boys means I think he was threatened or turned off by them because they were very successful and also very different from his style. Perhaps he didn't appreciate how those two bands were able to attract a wider fan base than him and some of the other more traditional hip hop artists.
