@@helenholt1161 I don't see any white saviors here. Whether the community found them or whether they found the community either way the tribe which was suffering financially is now not suffering financially. They saved the coffee because they knew that they were going to get cash for it. That's what you call business. These are two relatively young people who decided to make a home in Panama and share their land and become part of that community. They didn't come in with wads of money setting up a neoliberal white savior kind of thing. You know if you don't like them why are you even watching them? Do yourself a favor and don't watch people that you don't appreciate or respect.
I love a great story. So cool to see local farmers getting what they deserve for their hard labor. That little angel just gets more beautiful by the minute. I think Rodger thinks he’s a dog. I love how you guys can never finish one project before starting another.
I am a supporter of your channel and I love all the coffees I have bought. I just bought a large bag of your grounded La Comarca. I am in love with the idea that the coffee is great and I also get to support the small village people it makes it extra great!
How incredible it is to make a positive impact for that remote community of people, and at the same time getting some great organic coffee. Keep up the good work. These small actions make a huge impact.
What an awesome trek into a community that very few are able to go is pretty dang cool. It amazes me how your whole journey has been blessed with the people you have made friends with. Helping one another is what life is all about and to be able to have your growing family on a gorgeous productive farm is life changing. Great job on the Herb Box. Next build, An enclosed shower please, I've been waiting forever for that one!
I just ordered the coffee, my husband and I are huge coffee snobs and it’s hard to find good coffee in Minneapolis where I’m at..I’ve been holding off on ordering cause I’m afraid I’m going to love it too much lol! I appreciate seeing where the coffee comes from and all the people your helping by buying locally! I’m Native American and I can relate to the little community they have, can’t wait to get my coffee!! ♥️🤞🏼
Jordan I was amazed at the beautiful condition of the roads that you drove over to buy the coffee.I was surprised the roads were paved.I thought they would be dirt roads part of the way.
Hi, Guys enjoyed your video. You are making such a huge difference to the village people. Their last experience of being ripped off must have devastated the village finances and then the plague that wiped out their plantation and has taken 3 years to recover. These guys have struggled and now you have come along and changed everything for the better. A win-win situation for all involved. Thank you, you really are the real deal when it comes to living life off-grid and running a farm and a business ethically. Take care GOD Bless you and yours. M
This video is so great:) I love this so much. So grateful to see y'all using your funds to help a community and support your business at the same time. Keep going, you guys are killing it!
Beautiful! The countryside, the relationship you have with the growers, the planter boxes, Sadie and your whole motley crew!! Beautiful. Hugs to you all from 🇨🇦
Abundant positive energy is always surrounding you guys in whatever you do or whoever is near you and it is so lovely to witness what you have accomplished , that planter box looks awesome , the coffee is going to be the best , really proud of you guys for what you do and have done. Be well .. keep smiling .. catch ya on the flip side .. Cheers.
Awesome the relationship you have built with the coffee farmers. And how wonderful that they trust you and keep their harvest for you. Love the planter boxes and I can see that Roger loves them. Lol
Wanted to buy some coffee, but looks like no shipping to Australia - my loss 😞. Anyhow … thanks for another awesome video and for supporting your local coffee producers 👍👏
I am so happy for you. It's a blessing to see you all working together with the farmers. Love love all of this. Blessings to you and your lovely family. Amazing video.
Trust is a beautiful thing. The coffee farmers are counting on you and being able to sell their crop at a fair price is so important to them and their community. I can't tell you how proud I am of you and your commitment to their livelihood and the quality of your coffee business. It might be time for you to think about buying a larger roaster because your business is going to grow ever larger, and Arturo is going to have to work 24/7 to keep up with the increasing demand. What a good problem to have. The flower boxes are perfect, and Kaylee and Rodrigo did a fantastic job of planning and building them. I can't leave without saying that Sadie is growing more beautiful by the day. Looking forward to your next video!
This has already been such a beautiful video. Rodrigo is such a sweetheart, always willing to help out. Things are lookin good!! Love those window boxes!
I just love y'all to LIFE! Thank you for the videos you put out. I'm so grateful that you have ethical, transparent business practices and love showing where your coffee comes from. I've watched your channel for a couple of years without buying your coffee but THIS video changed that, you have gained a new customer. Keep up the fantastic work.
Totally appreciate being able to see how and where you guys are buying the coffee beans from. One of the reasons why I buy 😉 Kaylee...your planter came out so cute!
I just bought two 300 g bags of your coffee roasted on the eighth which is my birthday so thank you for that! Looking forward to visiting the Vermont roasterie/coffee shop when it's ready. I was just up in Westmore last weekend with friends that were making maple syrup. So cool when you get to see where your food comes from and that it's the real deal. Absolutely LOVE you guys 🤗✌️❤️
What a wonderful thing to do with the indigenous people of Panama! I used to live in the Yucatan area of Mexico and the terrible treatment of the indigenous people for hundreds of years was not shown in the tourist areas but still ongoing. The majority of homes and families have "maids". These girls leave their families from rural areas around the age of 14 to go to work. There is no school or education offered to any of them. The general rule is 1 day off per week at the discretion of the family they work for, usually a Sunday for church. There are expected to prepare every meal, hand wash all pots & pans and dinnerware after every meal or snack immediately, hand wash and hang to dry all bedding and clothing if they don't have a washer & dryer, which is common. Strip & remake all beds while cleaning bedrooms daily. Walk or take a bus to do the shopping. Fresh fruits, milk, bread are often requested daily and out of the blue when a family member gets a craving. They are sometimes taking care of the children as well. They work from before breakfast until after the dinner and kitchen is cleaned up and all chores are completed. If the family needs them after this time, they are expected to do as requested. Most homes have a back bedroom where all staff will stay so there can be 2 or 3 girls or women sharing this one room and separate bathroom. Not understanding how they were used to being treated and used to taking care of myself I unthinkingly continued. I saw the "maid" assigned to me and my needs crying and trying to hide it. I had to demand that she tell me why, what had I done wrong to her? Finally I got the truth but it was not what I thought. She was afraid of being fired because I made my own bed, used a dirty clothes hamper, fixed my own snacks and cleaned up after myself. She thought I did these things because I didn't like the way she did them. Being friendly with the staff was not normal, they were 3rd class people after all was the thinking. Well I tried very hard and we did become friends. She told me of things that were or had happened to other maids who were her friends. They were beaten, raped, accused of stealing by bratty spoiled children, had their day off taken away, given more work than 2 could do, given 4 to 6 hours of sleep every day max etc etc. They are given room and meals as part of their pay and a small amount of money. Not much more than it would cost to buy your own toiletries and replace your work clothes. All this at 14 and it was the best job for these girls as they were safer than most other jobs. By paying these farmers a fair price and being true to your word to return allows them to keep their children home and able to work with them rather than going to a strange city far away and alone. They can teach their children their trade and traditions. They can help each other in the community and have a support system. It's not just you getting a hard to find product at a fair price but a system where good people are helping each other become more successful and stronger for themselves and their families. When he was giving his thanks to God for bringing the 2 of you together, it went way beyond the money you paid for the beans!
I love the fact that you have built the trust of the tribe, and they are happy to see you coming!!! That is sooo awesome! Kaley the box looks sooo cute, but you are going to need something under the plants to catch, and hold the water for them. They need to soak for at least 5-10 minutes in those small pots....especially when its really hot. You can take them out, and soak them in a plastic container, instead, but its best to have the bottom of the plant protected from the heat and wind... Good luck!!! Love you guys!
I absolutely love watching your family and friends adventures in Panama and I can't get enough of watching your precious little baby girl. She is so lucky to be the child of two really cool, ambitious, adventurous, loving and awesome people. Keep on keeping us in the loop. You guys rock.
I think it's great that you guys can help the community with income by buying their coffee. I like your planter box. I love how Roger was helping you guys build the planter box. Sadie is just so adorable!❤😎🏜🇺🇸🌈🥰💚
I just ordered a bag of this coffee for my hubby. He is from England and is out here in California visiting me this month. We love to travel and go on adventures together. So I really love watching your family make a go of things in Panama! Hopefully we will make it down there someday. One of our bucket list places for sure! I'm part indigenous (Choctaw Nation) and this meant alot to me. Seeing how happy they were and to be treated fairly. Thank you for supporting them and treating them with such respect. Unfortunately I can't drink caffeine, but I am so looking forward to taking a sip of his! Cheers to you all. Big love and abundant blessings from my family to yours! 💜
I have been watching your videos for a while now and finally bought my first bag of coffee. I am super excited to try it! The impact you all are making in Panama and beyond is so inspiring. You guys are amazing!
Window boxes are the best! Your genius life choices keep rolling. If available, it's easier to fill window box liners and then put in wooden boxes. Livin' the dream.
And thats how you sell coffee! I just ordered some this is truly amazing. Seeing where it comes from and you're helping the people there. I'm a supporter and coffee lover so this works out.
Lovely, I So enjoy Your Videos I think of you all As my extended Family And I so enjoy Meeting through You the coffee Farmers, I am Proud to Be Human Because of you People Love from the UK
Had to pause the video to go order a bag. You guys have the utmost best coffee. Thank you not only for that but for sharing the entire process from farm to table.
What a wonderful video and opportunity for us to tagalong. It was so cool how you kept going from your journey to Kaylee‘s journey at home. And to see how grateful the people were that you were buying the coffee from. I’m definitely going to squeeze this into my budget this month to get some of that coffee. It was so funny seeing Kaylee outside Moving the herb containers back-and-forth deciding what she’s gonna put where that was so me I was laughing so hard. And Sadie Jo looking so healthy and strong. Thanks for a wonderful video much love and blessings to you all. 🌱🪴🍏💚😵💫
Just purchased 900gm of your coffee... I'm a fiend for coffee and bored with the "commercial" store types.. SO, trying yours. Also, have followed your travels forma long time now, Best to you.
So great to see people to people, win/win commerce going on. You guys are helping to set the bar for a new and more compassionate world. Love it. So inspiring to watch you. The flower boxes will look so lovely when complete. Love your idea to do herbs and bug repellent plants Kayleigh.
This video made me so happy! I loved seeing you helping a community by buying their coffee, and seeing their gratitude! It made me even happier and proud to be able to buy some of it!!
I just love your channel, it's not just about showing your life, but it's really about how you are impacting the lives of others in such a wonderful way. SO grateful for all you do, and I enjoy your coffee daily. Keep doing what you are doing. Much love and many blessings to ya'll.
Love your channel! As an amateur coffee roaster I do enjoy your episodes with some coffee related content even more. Just wish I could sample some of your coffees, but I'm far away in South Africa.
You are The Lucky Ones to get this Special Coffee from The Indigenous People of Panama! Woe what a drive with a view!! Love your planter Box with 🌿 herbs!!
Wow supporting the community in a fair and honest trade is beautiful thing to see. It shows them what America was founded on. So many wanted to take advantage with their greed while they worked hard to support their families-
Just ordered lots of coffee and a grinder. Can’t wait to try it - my mouth is already watering! ❤️ ☕️ ♥️ Best of all, you are helping the workers, providing for them and their families.
I love your idea of flower boxes. Remember herb spread and like lots of room to do so I have to divide mine every year, they get so big. later you might think about putting them around your walkway but where no BOY dogs can pee on them lol. My rosemary is like 4 feet high and 4 feet round I have to cut it back every year it is huge I love it and make tea out of it a lot as well as cooking and using it in my canning.
Are you two FOR REAL? Wow!!! You both are SO YOUNG and I feel like you are changing the lives of not just a community but a country, sharing the wealth, and paying the farmers what they deserve. How sad that people took their coffee and never came back!!! And you changed all that!!! Jordan, you are so humble the way you tell the story. You don't brag about what you guys do in the title lol you could have titled it How I Saved the Coffee Farmers of Panama but you never do that. Same with any good deed y'all do. And you do so many just by sharing your blessings with the beautiful people of this land. I will absolutely buy some coffee and feel joyous about doing it. And Kaylee, love those flower boxes. Sadie, you're just a boo-boo doll for the ages. Blessings to all y'all on Lola's Farm!!
I absolutely LOVE how yall making money isn't just yours ..... yall pay your workers a over fair price you pay the farmers above fair price ....... your people are so dedicated to yall and how yall work and speak to people and the company you want to have ....... tell the panama people THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING OUR PEOPLE INSIDE AND FOR TRUSTING JORDAN AND KAYLEES COMPANY
You guys are one of our favorites. Check out “DYI Off-grid solar FULL install &wire diagrams. Powering our homestead w/the sun” by Tiny Shiny Home Feb.18, 2022. One of the best tutorials we have seen. As we watched we thought of you.
Oh my God!!......this is one of my favorite videos!!........I am a Panamanian American living in Texas. I will be visiting my family in David, Chiriqui. Right were you are and DEFINITELY will stop there for a visit!.......LOVE PANAMA SO MUCH
Love, Love, Love your coffee!! I order some , every time you release a new flavor!!! I encourage everyone to do so, it's a great way to support these wonderful people!!!!
You might need to get a bigger roaster. This video was truly amazing to watch. I am not able to support you financially but I wish that I could. I try to support you in my likes and comments though. What a difference you are making in your community and what a difference you are making when you share your inspiring lives with us. Thanks so much!! P.S. Kaylee, your window boxes are going to look great1
I'm so happy for your family and pray that one day my husband and I with our 8 grown children and 11 grandchildren get the pleasure of living in a little slice of Heaven like you. Prayers for you and your family to always stag safe ❤️

Gaia thanks you I thank you … Love your channel and the humans in it 💕💯💕
Wow!! How nice of you to share it for others to learn from your example like STARBUCKS and what they have done to the native Guatemala coffee. Many blessings to your project and their land.
I can’t wait to taste the coffee!! I gave some to my mom last time and she loved it. Thank You for looking out for the ppl in those villages. Please be careful! planter box came out great!
Every video inspires me! You guys and the community have the greatest cammeraderie. I want to order the pre-ground coffee because the story is so beautiful. ❤️
Sadie is so gorgeous! I love that the natives welcome and appreciate you! Side note: A diet abundant in magnesium-rich foods will help keep your chocolate cravings at bay.
Too cool I just ordered my coffee! Love the caramel, butterscotch, and spices! Chocolate is not my favorite(I like white chocolate lol) and so many coffees have a chocolate favor as the first favor. I'm so excited to get it!! Love you helping the people!!!! All of you guys are great!😘
The scenery was very beautiful, not as beautiful as Sadie though. I am so happy you have enough coffee ☕now, so I hope you get alot of sales that you need. Great job guys.
Good Morning Beautiful People! I just Love to watch all your amazing video's, the life y'all live it brings me a happiness, peace to my heart and I pray one day me and my husband can visit your family and wonderful friends ..Love from Florida!💖 🌴🙏🏼🌷✨🐬💋

I just love the new herbox! great job! thanks for all you do for these videos, it's so magical to follow your homestead and community.
I was thinking last week that you needed flower boxes under the windows. They will be lovely when they are filled with blooms.
I smile the whole time I watch your videos! Thanks for both of you. 😀🥰😀

I hope RUclips sends you all the money and the algorithm works in your favor

You are The Lucky Ones to get this Special Coffee from The Indigenous People of Panama! Woe what a drive with a view!! Love your planter Box with 🌿 herbs!!
Such joy! I love what you are doing with your lives!
Yay, I got the coffee! And, your planter box looks great! Another good adventure!
Nice video !Thanks for changing the face of coffee purchasing in a positive way for the people who need the money the most.
Coffee heros supporting a small village through fair trade. Seriously. That's a beautiful thing.
You are such hard workers in all fields! Wish I drank coffee as the coffee beans sound so good. Xxxx
