@@Navjotbenipal18 hey i can suggest u the shades i own n feel that they look exact like ruby woo ..1)lakme 9 to 5 primer +matte in red coat(affordable one, same color as ruby woo jus not as matte as ruby woo..but u can blot it wid tissue n it stays on longer wid dat
2) estee lauder pure color love in bar red(it is expensive INR 1900 when i purchased..it also looks similar to ruby woo )
Both of lakme n estee lauder are very comfortble on lips but both of these do transfer ...if u want a complete matte and no transfer then after applying lipstick put a tissue over lips and dust some loose pwder....it wont tranfer...

I truly enjoy how you present all your videos, your expressions, the honest information you share while the lip swatches are happening, it’s very unique to your style of presentation. Am really having fun with the whole MAC series right now coz I haven’t experimented with this Brand at all knowing that these products are quite expensive for my pocket. But you’re right, it’s so confusing to decide which 1 you wanna spend on from all the different formulas so I think this video was much needed.

I prefer darker shades over nudes anytime; bright oranges/reds are a no no for me
I like to leave my hair when am out so maybe the crème/glossy ones will stick to my hair though I really like how they look & feel in the video.
I am so glad I didn’t invest in Ruby Woo even though everybody raves about it. Had no idea it is so drying! It was quite interesting to know about the Liptensity Lip Pencil, wasn’t aware of this product at all.
I also want to thank & applaud you for saying never to apologize for your skin & hair and feel good about yourself without makeup. Its such pointers that draw me to your channel actually.

I used to have drying lips no matter what I applied on my lips. My lips never felt moisturized. Any lip balms didn't last long.
That being said, I hated ruby woo in college. It was hard to apply. The feeling wasn't right. Last month I started using Fresh Advanced Therapy Wonderdrop Lip Primer and the lip balm and found lips less drying and most lipsticks wearing better than usual.
Couple days ago I bought and tried ruby woo mini lipstick and love it now.

I have Ruby woo...I think it's a tad bit drying...but damn does it look different on you! It looks like a bright true red..but for me it looks like a deep cool red 😮
I'm NC42 and have golden undertones. I have pigmented lips n verve whirl and amorous are some of the colors I love. In cremesheen I have creme in ur coffee which is such an amazing feel on the lips just as u said. For Ruby woo ( which I love btw, no offense) use a good lip butter like Nivea for a minute apply Ruby woo and Pat on the lip balm or dab it in before rubbing ur lips together. I hope it will feel better. Yes it's.extremely drying but since I usually use lipstick without a lip pencil it's good cos it doesn't bleed like Russian red does. But it's only for special occasions.

Hi Aparna....My favourite in Mac is velvet teddy which is perfect nude shade for me, brick o la and Mocha. I have these 3 from Mac and I love these a lot.
I own Ruby woo, Lady Danger, and the retro matte in Dance with me. And they always fetch me compliments. For Ruby Woo, I wanted to try it because of the hype, that's why I bought the Mini version.

Yes, the formula of ruby woo is very drying on the lips, but the color and the final finish is just awesome... So, ignoring its negative side, I just enjoy using this... But I will definitely try liquid retro matte collection where there is no need of tugging and pulling... By the way I love watching ur videos...
I do not own any MAC lipsticks or any of the MAC products because of the price tag honestly.
From the demonstration that you posted of the various range of MAC lipsticks....I loved the look and texture of Cremesheen, Lipstick, Lustre Lipstick, Powder Kiss Lipstick, Amplified Lipstick, Lip Glass lipgloss, Retro Matte Liquid and the Liptensity Lip pencil.

I hate retro-mattes!I have ruby woo and relentlessly red in this formula but never ever buying this formula again.my lips feel desert-dry with these lipsticks.i don't mind the mattes though.i love Viva glam 1 much more than ruby woo

I was really waiting for this video and had requested it in some other video of yours. The weather is changing and my lips are getting drier which makes me love Mac again. I love all the color choices you have shown, will surely purchase Mocha. I have also got Ruby Woo in the mini version as i knew the formula still wanted the shade. My fav shade is Mehr with a browny pink kinda lip-liner of course.

I am in the shade NC40 and Spite LipGlass does not really flatter my thin lips. And did you dtect that strong chemical smell? I just can't tolerate it. Even though I waned to get O Baby I think I won't.

You have such ab endearing personality Aparna...good for you..because i may have thrown chappals your way for not liking ruby woo if you didn't. Hahaha..just kidding...your videos are such a change from the usual... so natural..and honest..
As for Ruby woo... why don't you try prepping your lips first... apply a lip balm before yoy start your base...wipe it off after 15-20 mins when your base is done and then apply the lipstick... it will go on without any issues... mac retro matte lippies are very dry... but i own atleast 4 of them... imo they are incomparable to any other liquid lipstick... they last forever ans i find them pretty comfortable and i have very very dry lips... would suggest using a lip brush to apply these... also the color ruby woo...i know a few may find it overrated...but it can't be duped... and iv tried tons of lipsticks... there's honestly something about rhe lipstick that makes me feel extremely confident when i wear it... :)

I cannot tolerate the retro matte formula from MAC.. it's so drying and not comfortable at all.
I recently tried out AMPLIFIED formula and I m in love with it. Highly pigmented, smooth application and gives a plump look to lips. Although it doesn't last as much as their retromatte finishes, I don't mind reapplication at all. Comfort is my number one priority now...
My all time favourite shade is BRICK O LA and I m thrilled that you brought out this lipstick in this video....❤️..

Pl recommend moisturizing formula as an alternative to Ruby With
This is why I love you so much (even though I don't know you personally😋). Earlier when I was a little too obsessed with make up channels, I didn't understand why someone apologized for not looking 'picture perfect', as though it exists. People apologising for showing dark circles, bare face with no makeup, arms with hair, I understand if you don't think it is the best form of yourself, but why apologize. And I don't see that as a sign of humility either, I mean what example are you trying to set if you have to apologise for 'less than perfect face' and you will also judge another person the same way too. If people don't like it, they will move on and it's fine, but it's not job to be pristine and perfect all the time. We are not products, just human beings and we are allowed to have flaws and not be apologetic about it. I know it's a long rant, but I was pleasantly taken aback when casually you spoke about this in a lipstick video. No amount of makeup can help you if you do not love yourself 🙂.

I recently bought mini MAC diva lipstick its nice but it transfers easily
Like your honest reviews, n love u told abt ruby woo ya the shade is good, it's so matte n drying even than also it's not transfer proof being makeup artist whenever my bride wants red lips n ask me to apply mac I simply say no at first because what's the point of spending even 1050 on mini version if the lipstick is so drying +transfers maybelline ink matte are far better than this.
but i find it amazing that SOOO many people genuinely LOVE ruby woo too. it just goes to prove how unique each skin can be :)

When I tried ruby woo in store it was damn dry and I couldn't take like you. I tried applying their primer as well but even after that I didn't like at all. I so agree with you, MAC Ruby woo is so overrated.
I got it for myself for my last birthday. I was so hesitant to spend that much money on a lipstick yet I got it since I’ve been wanting it for a long time. But it disappointed me in the first application itself. I’m using it now by mixing with other lipsticks.
