Since MAC isn't cruelty-free, I had never really bothered to check out their shade range. Today, just out of curiosity, I did and was so impressed to see you mentioning that as a con :) Hope these brands realise the importance of being cruelty-free and act on it soon !

Ruby woo is there bestseller... but I like Russian Red more and it is more comfortable and just tiny mini difference in shade...
My mom is NC45 but velvet teddy suits her...

Captive, PDA and Paramount are also beautiful shades for pigmented lips. I have dry lips, all these are satin shades, look fab on me.

I have the shade Whirl which is of same Matte category and its really comfortable to wear in office for the whole day. I mix it with Ruby woo and automatically a new shade is created

Hi, love your lipstick swatch videos. Just one suggestion, i love it more when you divide the shades into families of reds browns mauves etc and then show it. Also when you swatch it on your arm and show them all together it becomes easier for the person, who lets say owns one of the shade, to understand where do the other shades mave to while comparing to the one that one has. As it might not be obvious as an stand alone shade in the video. Another very important and absolutely lovable shade in the mac mattes that i would suggest is the Ruby woo. You would definitely love it.

When it comes to lipstick Swatches sure it's joygeeks...
Velvet teddy washes out dark to medium skin tone .. I have used it and commenting for you all people ..it won't suit everyone .. I ll suggest using a lipliner is necessary for these skin tones if you really wanna use it .. otherwise it just blends with the skin tone ..
Do try Viva Glam 1,it is also a matte finish lipstick and I think it would look better on you than Russian Red☺

If you like their matte range, try Heroine...very stunning on Indian skin tones.
Hi Aparna, fantastic video! You must try whirl,smoked almond and girl about town!these are such beautiful shades for us brown skin girls😊 oooo also twig! It’s my most used Everyday shade! I have built my collection of Mac lipsticks by using their “back to Mac” service.i love it when companies are responsible in their recycling, now I just wish they would go cruelty free☹️that would be the icing on the cake!
I so wanted to love velvet teddy but it just doesn't play well with warm skin tones. If you want a rosy nude for tan warm skin I highly recommend Twig, and Whirl for a true nude
Also, the shade kinda sexy. It’s the only nude that looks good on my light olive skin tone.

Not exactly the same for sure. With a change in formula, the shade looks different
D for danger looks more bright than burning love as powder kiss formula is not at all pigmented.. And also it wont last long..

I also have a mixed bag of mattes, amplified, satin and retro matte shades from Mac. My favourite formula is undoubtedly Matte and my favourite shade is Mehr. I have another Ultra popular shade Whirl which I don’t enjoy on me, its deeper variant Verve also doesn’t suit me, don’t know why I bought them. My all time favourite Mac shade is Retro which surprisingly is underplayed. Its an awesome pinkish-red-brown shade and compliments indian skin tone completely. Its in satin finish though. Thanks for showing difference between diva and sin as i own sin and was planning to buy Diva, now i know how similar or different they would be. You donned lady danger with such a finesse, i have hardly been able to use it as its so bright but after watching you maybe i will wear it more often and more confidently. Velvet teddy looks good on me too whereas I thought it would wash me out but surprisingly it doesn’t. I am so glad you made this video, thank you so much.
Retro was my first ever MAC. Also bought Mehr, but mase me look washed out
Harveen Kaur try wearing Mehr with a brown lip liner. I have tried this combination after seeing some video and was floured. It becomes stunning.
