I dove into the Tekton tool pool recently and have been rewarded with good tools. The no-skipped sizes in their kits is refreshing. This company's service kinda reminds me of how Craftsman once was back in the last century. They really seem to be trying to provide a reputable product and stand behind it.
Same experience here with the long handle ratchet. I bought a bunch of their stuff when Meijer stopped selling it and cleared it out for 50-75% off. Best tool purchase I've ever made.
God - I remember when Meijer did that Tekton closeout a few years ago. I dont have any Meijers close to me and I was so jealous. You couldnt buy em online either - the closeout prices were only good for in store. Thanks for the view and comment!
I just started updating my tool box and I been buying tekton socket and ratchet sets. To clean my 40 year old hard worked tools. I spent a little over a thousand dollars so far on these tools and I am very happy with them glad to that the warranty process works .
Thanks for the comment John! Tekton is a phenomenal company and is amazing value for the money. Im glad to hear you went full bore and are stocking your drawers with Tekton. Im certain you will be happy and consider it a tremendous upgrade over your old tools!
I have some Tekton tools, but I have not had to warranty any of them yet. I have heard from many people that they have a very good warranty program and it was great to see you do the whole process. Thanks for sharing this video and cheers.
Just bought their 3/8" Ratchet and Metric Socket set. The main selling point for me was a huge range (6mm-24mm) with NO SKIPS. I won't be buying Proto anymore - I broke my $400 Proto torque wrench last week and despite the rebuild kit being available on Amazon US for $17 I could not locate one in Canada. Proto sent me on a huge goose chase calling a bunch of specialty suppliers only to realize that they don't sell repair kits in Canada. I ended up having to pay $50 to have that $17 part shipped here.
Hey man! Just wanna say your video is great! I love how calm, concise, and informative you speak. It's a refreshing change from all the hyper, too-energetic RUclipsrs these days. I'm now a subscriber and can't wait for your new videos. Keep it up, boss man!
Hey Brother! THANK YOU for the kind words - much appreciated. I make my videos because I enjoy talking about the stuff I do - and Im trying to share it with the people that have similar interests. Thank you for watching and for the subscriptions, there's lots more to come!
Had a 3/8 strip out few months ago and had no problem getting parts to fix it only problem was that ratchet and a few other tools were stolen while I was waiting, so now I’ve got the repair parts but no ratchet 🤣
Broke the same switch on the same ratchet. Dropped it from about a foot up onto concrete and it snapped right off. Tekton sent me a complete ratchet, not a rebuild kit. Took a little less than a week to get here.
I got the tekton gear wrench set about 5 years ago most of them are broken now and at the time i tried to warrenty them i couldnt now they just sit in my junk tool drawer.
Sorry to heat that - why couldnt you warranty them back then? Tekton says that their tools have a lifetime warranty - so you should try again. Go to www.tekton.com/contact-us or call 888-648-3371 and Im sure they will take care of you. Let me know how it goes. #tekton
Lol. You’re not wrong, but the truth is I really don’t know. I’m pretty sure it broke at the junk yard but probably because something fell on it, not cause I was pounding on something with it.
Breaking tools is always a big headache too when you're already out there at the junkyard. Nice video though, the music part was a little bit louder then expected😅@@beerwrenchgarage
@@UselessBuilds Lol - sorry about the music - late night editing sometimes causes little imperfections. As far as the junkyard goes - if its critical, then 2 is 1 and 1is none. So always have a backup!
Colin from support warrantied my ratchet in literally five minutes after my request
Awesome! Glad it worked out for you!
Best warranty out there!!!

Yeah - its REALLY annoying when companies skip sizes. I appreciate that too! Im a big fan of Tekton! Thanks for the comment!
The awesome customer service folks at Tekton really showed why Tekton shines! Thanks Colin at User Support! #Tekton

Yes Sir! This set is phenomenal - it should be a MUST HAVE for anyone that turns wrenches - thanks for watching and thanks for the comment!

Same shit happened to me. Got the repair kit from them and fixed it myself. Was confused for the first half but got it for the rest cuz I'm dumb
Awesome - glad you figured it out! Thanks for the view AND the comment!
Thanks for the video on this. Very cool to see Tekton sent that out so fast. Also glad to hear that you've been happy with their tools.

That totally sucks! Thanks for the view and comment though!

Sweet! Glad they took care of you - you just dont hear bad customer service stories about Tekton. Thanks for the view and comment!
Not bashing on big names or anything but I think it is a good idea to have backups for ratchets for sure cuz shit breaks lol
Yeah Bro - I hear you - I got back ups on back ups on back ups: ruclips.net/video/BjwPs3zNr6E/видео.html . Thanks for the view and comment!

yeah im curious to know how it went for you dude
Gear wrench or tekton was the warranty issue because you never tried ?
You must have a strong thumb to break that switch completely off
More like a really hefty, fat one!
Hahaha!!! LOL!!! 😂🤣😂🤣😂🇺🇸
Tekton❤️
Without watching the videos, I cam attest to their warranty
Yes Sir - TEKTON takes care of their customers. Thanks for the comment!
i really need to know how you broke that, i'm getting a the feeling you needed a hammer at the junkyard 😂😅
