What a great idea! I am glad Sarah has taken this a step further. It will be great to have a tangible aid to work with instead of having to look everything up on my computer.
Oh my goodness! The truck! Wow! 😍😍😍 Hoping to get the full color cube, catalog and companion soon. Systems like Sarah's have really helped me understand color theory and train my eye to see varying hues, values and contrast and a much better comprehension of tint, tome and shade. Just understanding some basic concepts can make a huge impact on your art. It's truly amazing. I am so grateful to people like Sarah, Lori Green, Jennifer and Steve Stay and YOU, Claire, for helping us on our artistic journey. I always rush to check out your swatch charts and color family charts when I get a new set of pencils.
The whole picture came out gorgeous, btw. I'm just in love with the truck. It kinda reminds me of the black cherry in Prismas, but you created that magnificent color by tinting and shading the magenta! Absolutely gorgeous!!! ❤👍😍

Amazing and so beautifully done. I couldn't imagine how it would work, but there's not a single thing that was disappointing. Everything about the truck was surprisingly "just right"! I hope 🤞 you're going to do another Coloring Cube demo. I ordered both sets (immediately) but being in the U.S I know patience is needed. I'll be on pins and needles until I get them! SRC has really developed an amazing product that she has matched up with several brands of pencils and pens. Fortunately I have all of her Color Catalogs and companions. All are a must have for any colorist imho.

Your colouring is positively brilliant Claire 👏. Great review. Sometimes life hands you lemons and you’re meant to make lemonade but when the lemons are mouldy to boot, you need to find a new way out of your problems.
I needed a new way to find my way back to colouring the way I used to esp after improving so much by watching videos esp yours so as usual you are my temptress Claire. I bought KJDesign metallic paints and got a zest back but my ability to colour match isn’t there anymore so once again you’ve come to my rescue and this Colour Catalogue by Sarah Renae Clarke might just be it.
I agree she really is excellent at what she does.

Wow!.... first off, thank you thank, you, thank you, for doing this video!! I too was majorly on the fence about whether or not to get one cube, the whole bundle, Etc, but you have 100% sold me. If I had looked at that picture I would have instantly gone to Greens, Browns, reds and basically been all over the place and definitely not gotten very much done. I think the card helps to keep you focused. Instead of spending most of your time digging through your pencils trying to figure out the exact color that you think would be good for this flower, then what would be good for this flower, AND then what would be good for the truck? I love your truck by the way and it is totally an Addams Family themed truck! It just blew my mind how you did it, I mean obviously that is mostly your talent, but watching you do the entire picture with just those limited colors was absolutely amazing. I was really on the fence about this because I know that a lot of what I'm personally looking for is probably not going to be in there. In some of the descriptions I didn't see a Halloween section, she does have some holidays listed but Halloween wasn't one of them. Obviously she does have autumn/october color palettes but you know what I'm looking for so you know that's not going to be there LMAO. However , I have other coloring books that I want to color and I've pulled them out, looked all through them, done swatches for each section/piece of the picture. What colors am I going to use in this area? What colors am I going to use in this area over here? Ect. Ect. I would have done that with this photo too. I would have picked colors for the truck, and then I would have gone back and picked a bunch of colors for the flowers. The color Cube saves you all that time so you can spend more time coloring, at least in my mind that's what it looks like, and I love that. I love my coloring but I get so stuck on trying to find the perfect color that I lose the fact that I'm doing something that I love. I wonder though why you didn't use the tints and the shades? Was it a personal choice? Did you want to show that just those five colors and a white pencil can make magic? And truly this was magical. Thank you again, so much, for what you do.
Yes I wanted to try and use only the base colours. I have also used the tints and shades on my most recent video though xx

Absolutely stunning. I would of never came up with those colors on my own.
The one thing I would like different is the different shades in the corners of the color on the front. So you don't have to keep turning them back and forth to match up the colors to look at. And a at a glance sheet with all the colors. So you don't have to look through the whole box. You can find what you want by looking at the swatch sheet.
Sarah has the Color cube companion downloads which you can print and use as quick reference xx

So I now have these little babies in my hands. I was able to purchase them today and got to meet the lovely Sarah in person. What a thrill. They are awesome quality as is the planner. The paper in the planner is sooooo much better than this years one. It is just beautiful and pencils lay down beautifully I got to try it Both, well all of the products are amazing. Worth every cent. I like the way you color your pencil’s its so easier too match up color.
How did you do it ? I am sure its easy but if you could please explain how are you cut it up and then color it in that would be helpful instead of having a sheet full of colors and trying to match up is difficult😊

Great review, I have had an eye on these since Sarah first mentioned them. I just wished there was a distributor here in the UK. It's going too cost a bit in postage from Australia. I am on the lookout for anyone going there on holiday.. 🤣
