I do keep my cards in the right order. I have a few scrap pieces of card stock in each box that sticks up a little higher than the cards. When I take out a card, I place the card stock as a place holder. When I return the card, I just look for the piece of card stock. Easy peasy!
I keep the cards in order so they can be easily found when using the accompanying digital version search tool. I found the digital version to be a coordinating must. I too am a hand-on person & don’t like anything digital but in this case, I’ve enjoyed having both tools.
I love my color cubes. I made pocket pages for mine, using thicker page protectors and my thermal heat sealer. I made 4 pockets on each page. Each page holds 8 cards. Then I matched the colors as close as I could with my Prismacolor pencils, and used blank index cards to swatch the color and write the pencil numbers on each side and put them between the color cube cards. I have a binder for each cube.
This is a brilliant idea…I saw your pictures this morning in our Facebook group and it really makes me want to do something similar. Thanks for sharing.
You will LOVE working with these cubes. Sarah Renae Clark has made it easy for the beginner as well as the pro. Like you, my OCD will not allow me to NOT return the cards in their rightful order but re-filing is made easy by the numbers. Just return them in their proper order. Yay to SRC!!!
Thank you ladies!!! It's wonderful to have the Color Cubes explained and shown... Teal's my favorite color ... along with Ferrari Red PR254... and Magenta! I'm trying to enter... I dont understand techie stuff very well. With love & gratitude from a California Gramma ❤
The accompanying digital versions are fairly easy to use. If you have difficulty, try going to your local library to see if can get the reference librarian to assist you.
And yes, I keep the cards in order. I will pick them out of the boxes for the project I'm doing, and keep them in another box until I'm done with that project. When I've picked my colors, I usually keep the card numbers in my project notebook to be able to come back to them if needed.
I can't wait for your opinion. I have wanted these for ages but wanted a colorist who knows color theory to really give me the low down. I've seen professional reviews, but nothing from someone who also just colors for fun and therapy.
Looking forward to watching this one. I’m an Aussie and have the color cubes, companion and catalog and have also purchased some of Sarah’s other products. I love your channel and I’m thrilled to see you featuring Sarah on your channel. Can’t wait to watch this one!
I have the cubes for a while now, you encouraged me to get them out again and I am pleased with the results so far, I did get a bit disgruntled with the time it took to search for the right card and pull out all the pencils and then have to put them back but the results are so good it really is worth spending that time to pick your colours.
I have and love these. I used them with a bride to pick her colors. It was wonderful for picking all the decor, the flowers, the outfits, etc. wonderful. PS I keep them in number order after I use them for the project
Love, love, love these cubes. I do keep them in order because I use them with the digital version. I search with the digital version, then find the physical card when I'm ready to work. Having them in order makes this easy.
I’m learning so much from your channel. I enjoy watching you with all your tips. I’m new to coloring. I broke my ankle and had to learn new ways to occupy myself. Thank you for the inspiration!
I’ve had my physical color cube bundle for a year and love using it. But after watching your interview with Sarah I decided to buy the digital version today along with the color companion. Looking forward to seeing how you color with it in the coming weeks! 🩷
Thank you so much for this! I watch both of you and it was not only fun to see the 2 of you "together", but now I know how to use the cubes and digital version. I'll have to ask for my birthday!!!! I'll be using mine when I scrapbook. thanks again, looking forward to your video of using the cube!!!
I have the cubes and digital for phone and tablet. I haven't printed it yet. These are a game changer. Sort by theme or color. Takes the guessing game out of choosing color. You can also compare any kind of media color. So your not just stuck with a certain brand!!!! Waiting for the 3rd cube!!!
Jennifer - you are such a gracious interviewer! I really loved this segment as I struggle with color selection and it was so interesting to listen to you and Sarah discuss this topic. Your questions were all excellent!
I love color, color, color. Because of that obsession I have bought so many brands of colored pencils. I tried to make my own color catalog to have on hand but, all these colored pencils is a lot. The cubes are beautiful.
What fun video. I bought the digital version. Printed all of it out. There it sits. Sadly. I am old so I forget to use it. Along with every other version. When I remember it works fantastically. But I really think I want the color cubes. They do seem so easy to use. I think it's on my phone. Lol. But small and hard to see. So therefore I think I will be ordering this system. 😊
I have these and love them. The colors going all to the edge makes it easy to compare and then you can do your tri tones, When I have an idea and just can't decide what to do, I bring these out. I also rearranged them to something that makes sense to me
Absolutely love these cubes and the accompanying digital version is a must have. You can sort by colour, collection and keywords, also you can see all the cards as an over view of small tabs, makes it easy to search and get inspired, and what I found as the most useful is a colouring companion for several pencil brands, that allow you to match up the colour pencil to the card. So so helpful. Would recommend this wholeheartedly. Well done Sarah .
I had the digital version before buying the Colour Cubes. The digital is great for searching particular schemes, but the physical cubes are absolutely brilliant. I'm pretty good with colours, but like Sarah, I tended to stick with the same range of colours. The cubes can force you out of your comfort zone and the results are amazing! To make putting the cards back in the right place easier, I use Post-it strong removable/repositionable index tabs which I attach to the next card in the box. When I want to put the card back, its place is clearly marked and I just lay the tab flat over the cards, waiting for the next need to use it. These tabs don't mark or damage the cards in any way. The size of these tabs is approx half an inch by one and a half inches, and they're colour coded.
I keep seeing these cubes in the background of so many artists on RUclips so I finally Googled what they were recently. Love, love them...what a great idea.
I have the first set as the digital book and like it, but should really print it as having an actual 'real' thing to see while you coloring must be very helpful. I've always wished to be able to get these color cubes but am unable to afford them, so super excited to enter your giveaway. Thanks to you and Steve for your amazing generosity.
Colors are wonderful, dear Jennifer and Steve! The summer blue sky, the yellow of a canola field, the new bright leafy green of a beech forest with the white woodanemones on the ground beneath the trees. It's pure joy and things that I enjoy with my whole heart and soul!
I have been thinking of purchasing the Color Cubes and companion for awhile. I enjoy watching you and Sarah's videos so definitely looking forward to this one!
I have the cubes and I just can’t stand if everything is messed up. So I used mini-sticky notes for tabs. Sticky notes are flexibel so they can’t get it in the way with the lid 😃
I have the cubes 😍😍 and the digital catalogs and companions which work super well together🤩🤩. I browse the digital catalogs to pull the cards and decide what I want to use. For those of us who are "color selecting challenged" they are a real godsend and I am getting better at recognizing colors and matching to pencils. So many ways to browse the interactive pdf catalogs, invaluable to me. Looking forward to your future color cube journeys, Jennifer!!❤
Hi Jennifer. You have a wonderful talent for interviewing people!❤ I appreciated how you asked all the questions I had myself. I have seen the Color Cube before, but did not understand the concept of how to use the boxed set. I would love to win this to help me with picking color to make my cards. So I hope I win because I will use it and it will look pretty on my craft table too. Hi Steve
I’m so grateful you did this video. I saw this last night and looked more into it. I love to paint furniture and I also wear colorful clothes so I’m going to use this for both!
I love the cubes, I already had the digital copy and I started seeing ads about the cubes coming out. I immediately ordered them. Was so impressed when I received them last year! They are amazing, great quality and love having them on my desk that I can grab.
After I got my cubes I set them up in subject. Then I put each subject and put then in numerical order. Subjects were then put in alphabetical order. After that I wrote down each subject and info on card. My papers were put in plastic and everything fits back in the big box. It only took less than a week to do it all. I’ve shown to others and they all liked how I set it up. I have worked with them and love them and my system. Susie.
Great video Jennifer, I have had both the PDF and cards since there release. what I like most is that the colors are printed to the edge of the card to compare to your swatches. I choose the card on the online version and then use the card from the cube for selecting the colors.Looking forward to your next video 👏🏼
I don't have the digital or the cube version, but I definitely would have to keep the cube version in numerical order. It would drive me nuts with them being out of order.
I got so excited to see my two favorite colorists collaborating!! I got the entire system including the Color Companions and I tend to use those more than the physical cards. If only for the same reason of worrying about them getting out of order! I can't wait to see the next video! ❤❤❤
You can never have too many art supplies. My birthday is in May and I was going to purchase these as a present to myself. Great interview. I would love to see a series of interviews or guest colorists.
I have the full suite and have to say her companion sets are great for numerous brands just like your awesome books but it gives me somewhere to start with my colors. I tend to use mine for mandalas more than anything else but for what i spent I do need to expand my uses.
One of the best things about the color cube is the Companion book! The number in the top left leads to the companion that gives you the Prismacolor or Polychromos pencils that match! I use it all the time.
I love my color cubes and I use the physical version and the digital. I’ll use the digital search tools then pull out the physical card. I also LOVE the color companion!! They’re so good for making things quick and easy! I love using the color cube for card making as well as coloring. I see myself using them to decorate and maybe even put together outfits!
💜💜💜tfs💜💜💜 I love my cubes, she also has an add-on that gives you codes for - obviously not every brand, but some of the more popular brands in colouring, so if you like card 500 and you want that purple in say Tombow dual brush, she has the code for you. Best add on I bought to go with the collections (I own almost all of Sarah's tools because you know, FSS)
Great Video. Looking forward to using these on new projects. Excellent quick next day delivery. I have these and love them they so help with palettes for pages. When doing my mandalas it is great to pick a card and do that page. Never had any problem with shipping. The Bundle is well worth it as you get so many other helpful features. such as colour companions for different types of pencil brands. Love to You and Steve and darling little Rose.
I got the whole suite and I love it! You can print out the Color Catalog Companions for specific brands of pencils and other art materials. I printed the ones for pencils I had, and combined that with your Color Picker materials in a little disc-based notebook. It's great!
I'm really wanting to get these, and I would keep them in order since I would get the digital catalog as well. The digital version gives you great ways to search in different categories, and then gives you the card number to pull. I love how they work together!
The color cube is the best! I bought the color catalog (digital version) first, years before the color cube was released, I think. I love them both. The color cube and your color picker system book are my favorite ways to choose colors in my coloring books :) Can't wait to see your coloring next week!
My ocd won’t allow anything but in order 😂 I love my color cubes I have the digital version as well which makes it great for searching as I love the card in hand once a choose which card I’ll use. The color companion is amazing!
@Coloring Bliss, A couple of questions. :) 1. How is it that Steve is so knowledgeable about colors? 2. I see a possible new product in your future; books like your tri-tone ones that use the cubes colors. I need to know what prismas, derwents, or other pencils colors match the hex colors.
Good Ideas!! Steve has had a lot of training over the years from different jobs he has had. I am really lucky that his skill set fits so well for our Coloring Bliss business. I couldn’t do it without him.
What a nice idea. Sometimes it feels a bit stressful trying to pick colors that work well together. I think the color cubes would make coloring even more relaxing and fun. (Especially since we have given ourselves permission to not worry about keeping the cards in numerical order :)
I actually purchased a big CD storage book and I put all of the cards in order in there. It makes it easier for me to look at all of the cards and pick my colors.
I love those cubes, I was one of the first to get them when they went out of stock. I won’t enter this giveaway as I have them and the digital version too. Whoever wins will find them so useful!
17:36 "I don’t know if people are aware but the cube is actually a cmy rgb design itself." Sarah’s cube box does have these colours in the corners, the complementary pairs are opposite one another, and the Hues connect to complete a 'colour wheel' spectrum with analogous flows along the Hue edges. That's all a good start. The other two corners in her cube box design are White and Black, and they are also opposite one another, which is correct. But they are not in the correct corners. They need to be swapped (White where Black is and Black where White is). The box is super pretty as a container for the cards, but it doesn’t represent an accurate 3D colour space, for either CMY or RGB. As a tool for navigating through a full spectrum of colours, it’s not fully functional and this inaccuracy could be confusing.
I bought these cubes to support Sarah a fellow Australian and they are cute. I do prefer the digital catalogues and companion because it is easy to search for colour palettes which you can print out and has spaces to test your colours against. The companion will tell you brands and colours to pick which is super handy. I recommend watching Sarah's videos about the colour catalogues and colour cubes. The intense video she did of jelly fish was super useful too as those pencils can be multiple colours in one depending how much water you use.

Yes I’m so glad she made the numbers large and easy to see so that returning each card to their rightful place will be easy.
I have the digital versions, as well as the Companions, so I can get the exact colors from my favorite brand for each color on a pallet. Very handy.
Thank you for reviewing these AND offering them as a giveaway!

I hope last night’s video and next week’s video will help you make a good choice.
Honestly these are amazing highly recommended. I have colour block sometimes and these help greatly ❤
Looking forward to watching this one. I’m an Aussie and have the color cubes, companion and catalog and have also purchased some of Sarah’s other products. I love your channel and I’m thrilled to see you featuring Sarah on your channel. Can’t wait to watch this one!

Good luck everyone! I received these for Christmas and they were my favorite gift! They are so fun.
What a fun gift to receive!!
I love those cubes! I got them last year along with the digital package. The search is really easy, and everything is a joy to use.
Good to know!
I have and love these. I used them with a bride to pick her colors. It was wonderful for picking all the decor, the flowers, the outfits, etc. wonderful. PS I keep them in number order after I use them for the project
Great idea to use it for planning a wedding!! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for checking these out,I have been looking at these for awhile, so tempted!
Any time! Glad we could help
Love, love, love these cubes. I do keep them in order because I use them with the digital version. I search with the digital version, then find the physical card when I'm ready to work. Having them in order makes this easy.

She so cute ❤❤❤ love her cubes so much been using mine since they first came out ❤
I’ve had my physical color cube bundle for a year and love using it. But after watching your interview with Sarah I decided to buy the digital version today along with the color companion. Looking forward to seeing how you color with it in the coming weeks! 🩷
I hope the digital version is everything you want it to be. Thanks for watching.
I was so excited that you were reviewing the Color Cube and a bonus interview with Sarah! Always a great video!!
So glad you enjoyed it.
These are well worth the money. I also suggest all the digital options too if you use pencils & alcohol markers.
Thanks for watching my channel…it was fun to do the interview. Sarah is very kind.
Yes…I wonder if she has a plan for a 3rd cube?
There's a third?
I heard somewhere there will be a 3rd cube, I think it was on one of her lives.
Jennifer - you are such a gracious interviewer! I really loved this segment as I struggle with color selection and it was so interesting to listen to you and Sarah discuss this topic. Your questions were all excellent!
Glad it was helpful!
I love color, color, color. Because of that obsession I have bought so many brands of colored pencils. I tried to make my own color catalog to have on hand but, all these colored pencils is a lot. The cubes are beautiful.
I love color, color, color too!!!
I have followed Sarah for quite a while now. She's also very good with ideas. Love having both groups to follow.
Oh no…sorry you forget about your printed version. But…if you’re like me you have a lot of resources and it can be hard to remember to use them ALL.
@ColoringBliss that's my problem. Lol to much stuff. Lol. But if I get rid of something then I for sure need it a few days later. Lol
Thank you for having Sarah Renae Clark on your channel. I learned sooo much. Planning to c😮continue watching your channel. Thanks again!
You are so welcome!
I have these and love them. The colors going all to the edge makes it easy to compare and then you can do your tri tones, When I have an idea and just can't decide what to do, I bring these out. I also rearranged them to something that makes sense to me
Thanks ❤❤❤
Absolutely love these cubes and the accompanying digital version is a must have. You can sort by colour, collection and keywords, also you can see all the cards as an over view of small tabs, makes it easy to search and get inspired, and what I found as the most useful is a colouring companion for several pencil brands, that allow you to match up the colour pencil to the card. So so helpful. Would recommend this wholeheartedly. Well done Sarah .
Yes…I may end up purchasing the digital version for all the reasons you mentioned. Thanks for sharing your experience.
I pre ordered these color cubes. They are marvelous ❤️🎨
Glad you like them so much. Thanks for sharing.
Great suggestion. I’ll look into those index tabs
I absolutely love these cubes. I was able to get them a couple of months ago. But with shipping and tax, mine were $82. Worth every penny. 😁
Glad you love them so much.
Glad to see how cubes are used.
I’m glad you enjoyed the video…next week’s video should also be helpful to you.
I keep seeing these cubes in the background of so many artists on RUclips so I finally Googled what they were recently. Love, love them...what a great idea.
Glad you like them!
Love these colour cubes!❤
I have the digital an love the deluxe version I got
The digital version seems very convenient. Thanks for sharing
Good luck with the giveway. I wish we could give a box to EVERYONE!!
Colors are wonderful, dear Jennifer and Steve! The summer blue sky, the yellow of a canola field, the new bright leafy green of a beech forest with the white woodanemones on the ground beneath the trees. It's pure joy and things that I enjoy with my whole heart and soul!

Yay! I’m glad you were excited about this topic.
Thank you, Both of you, for the information on the color 30:57 cube. 😊😊.
Bought both and I love love love them!!! The pictures are beautiful I haven painted several
Rosie looks like she’s feeling so much better from the incident wanting a treat at the start of the video
These are on my list to buy eventually! Thanks for the chance to win them!
Good luck!
When I use the digital I include the number in my notes. You could make a note of the number as well as the swatch
I have the cubes and I just can’t stand if everything is messed up. So I used mini-sticky notes for tabs. Sticky notes are flexibel so they can’t get it in the way with the lid 😃

What a great system! Thank you for sharing your ideas.
Great attention to details in these products… like the stickers for the number of volume. Wow real impressed
Yes…Sarah put a lot of work into the details of these products.
I own the color cubes and yes I do keep the cards in order. I also have the digital version and the companion versions.
I just ordered my color cubes. I'm anxiously waiting to get started!
I never thought I'd see my two favorite coloring creators in the same video! This is one giveaway I'm entering for sure.
So glad you enjoyed the video! It was fun to film.
Great video Jennifer, I have had both the PDF and cards since there release. what I like most is that the colors are printed to the edge of the card to compare to your swatches. I choose the card on the online version and then use the card from the cube for selecting the colors.Looking forward to your next video 👏🏼
That’s a great way to use the 2 formats together! Thanks for sharing.
I don't have the digital or the cube version, but I definitely would have to keep the cube version in numerical order. It would drive me nuts with them being out of order.

I have already, and it is awsome!
Good to hear!
I love to hear how you are using the Color Cube. Thanks for sharing.
I have been watching you and Sarah both for years. This is wonderful!

I keep mine in order so I can find them easily. It’s so useful. I not only use it for art but also for choosing colors to decorate and paint my home.
Thanks for sharing how you use your cubes
I got the whole suite and I love it! You can print out the Color Catalog Companions for specific brands of pencils and other art materials. I printed the ones for pencils I had, and combined that with your Color Picker materials in a little disc-based notebook. It's great!
I'm really wanting to get these, and I would keep them in order since I would get the digital catalog as well. The digital version gives you great ways to search in different categories, and then gives you the card number to pull. I love how they work together!
You are missing a key component . In the digital version they pick the colors for you. They have it in a variety of pencils try it
Yes! We forgot to mention this in the video. Thanks for bringing it up here.
The color cube is the best! I bought the color catalog (digital version) first, years before the color cube was released, I think. I love them both. The color cube and your color picker system book are my favorite ways to choose colors in my coloring books :) Can't wait to see your coloring next week!
Glad to hear you find good uses for both color picking systems. So many great tools to use for our art.
Ordered and received last month...LUV it!!!
Thanks -as always great, fun info!!! Love the cubes. Have been drooling over them for a while now
I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
My ocd won’t allow anything but in order 😂 I love my color cubes I have the digital version as well which makes it great for searching as I love the card in hand once a choose which card I’ll use. The color companion is amazing!
Glad to hear that you like the cubes and the companion so much. Thanks for sharing.
I have the some of sarah's color cube offerings and this interview has been very helpful.. and would love the actual cubes!
I have so wanted to see what these cubes were for. Love the idea, and all the pictures and colors. How beautiful! Would make a good gift!❤
I agree that this would make a great gift. Thanks for watching
Thank you for the review video - the cards look great, what a super idea! 😍

I’m so happy to have a new tool for coloring, loving it 🥰
I love these cubes. I’m
Hoping to add these to my collection this year. I look forward to watching you use them.
I hope you enjoy next week’s video… it was fun to film.
You cold use a book mark as a place holder in the box while your using your card/s
Good suggestion…going to need something like that for sure.
What a nice idea. Sometimes it feels a bit stressful trying to pick colors that work well together. I think the color cubes would make coloring even more relaxing and fun. (Especially since we have given ourselves permission to not worry about keeping the cards in numerical order :)
I totally agree!
Will surely look at your video, next week.
Yay! I hope you enjoy it…it was fun to film.
16:57 I use Sarah’s color cube for my crochet projects, I can pick a card and take it with me to get yarn!!
YES! I was picturing that very scenario for my next crochet project. Thanks for sharing how you use the cards.
I actually purchased a big CD storage book and I put all of the cards in order in there. It makes it easier for me to look at all of the cards and pick my colors.
I have this and the one on my phone. They are amazing and so is Sarah Renae Clark!!!!
Glad to hear it!
I love those cubes, I was one of the first to get them when they went out of stock. I won’t enter this giveaway as I have them and the digital version too. Whoever wins will find them so useful!
Great video, so intrigued by these color cubes. What a great giveaway wow 🎉
Good luck! Glad you liked the video
17:36 "I don’t know if people are aware but the cube is actually a cmy rgb design itself."
Sarah’s cube box does have these colours in the corners, the complementary pairs are opposite one another, and the Hues connect to complete a 'colour wheel' spectrum with analogous flows along the Hue edges.
Thank you for your comment. It’s interesting how different people use the different versions for the Cubes.
So exciting. What a great giveaway.
I've always wanted the color cubes!
I love to watch this video with both of you. Thank you so much 🙏
Glad you enjoyed it!
