Gary Moore - Parisienne Walkways (Reaction) (Athems Series)
Original Video: • Gary Moore - Parisienn...
Fil: Since you surprisingly survived through Comfortably Numb, it is only proper to introduce you to one of the most renowned guitar virtuosos EVER. Gary Moore was described to be "The Epitome of Feel & Soul in His Music As He Played With The Most Feel & Emotion Than Anyone Before Or After."
The greatest guitarist ever to walk on this earth. Nobody, and I mean nobody played with so much skill and passion as Gary.
R.I.P Gary. We miss you.
😊😎🎸🇬🇧🇺🇦
🇮🇪
gary's control of sustain, is otherworldly
Легенда!!!💖
The Messiah will come again- live in the Jazz Festival in Montreux is a masterpiece of Gary Moore, the best guitar solo I have ever seen.
Gary Moore legendary artist
Gary Moore is an all - time legend!
Gary Moore is the greatest guitarist who ever lived. #comeforme. This is not even the best version of this song, you should see him do this song at the jazz festival it was his last performance ever. The video I think is "best guitar solo ever probably" if I have it correct. In that performance Gary melts ears and shreds hearts. What a way to go out RIP Gary Moore
It's called SUSTAIN😂
U should try 'Out in the Fields' with Phil Lynott. Both ex members of the band Thin Lizzy. Both sadly now deceased.
Prince aint no where near the level of this 🐐
soo I can still tweak my Gambit one 😇 Some new stuff has been found and I have a playlist with 1500 songs I havent checked out yet
Oh wow that’ll take Fil a while
@@IamSammy1 haha I doubt all of them will be worth sharing but I check out a lot of stuff
Classic song…good stuff
turn up the guitar and amps up to 10, stand in front of the speakers
and the note will feed back in a continuous loop
Fil, a timeless classic. Yes, all that you read out of Sonja's message.
One of the ways to extend or hold a note (on a electric guitar) is with the use of a pedal, called a sustain pedal.
#QcumberSquad #GaryMoore - Fil, I'm off back to the study.
There are pedals and other devices which can do this but the sustain here is generated by a process called harmonic feedback. It is literally the vibrating string being amplified by very loud Marshall amps and being made to carry on vibrating by the pressure of the sound waves coming out of the amps. This creates a feedback loop where the vibration of the string keeps the sound coming out of the amp and the sound of the amp keeps the string vibrating. This is not the easiest skill to master as you have stand in exactly the right place for a particular note for it to work and to hold onto the right note. If you look very carefully you may be able to see gaffa tape crosses on the stage where Gary had found the right places to stand during soundcheck.
Lol there is no "guitar pedal" creating the sustain on Gary's guitar
It is NOT called sustain, which relies on string vibration, wood quality and guitar mechanics. Gary’s Les Paul guitar certainly has good sustain (as does my LP), but he is literally playing with feedback here, where the sound goes in a loop between the speaker and the guitar’s microphone. The «sustain» from this will keep going until you either turn off the amplifier or the guitar (by turning down the volume). It’s a very cool effect, not «invented» by anyone but first popularized by Jimi Hendrix.
Welcom back, love ur reactions💙.
Please react to Mac Lethal NEW💥💥diss track, many reactors have already done it.
Also Upchurch's #2 Tom Macdonal diss
Melhor guitarrista da história
On my opinion the best version is live from Royal Albert Hall from 92..But he was the goat no doubt.
I think Frank will explain to us how he attaches that "fire engine siren"
Does Frank run around with a fire engine siren attached ??? 😮😮😮
@@MrTombre 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Well, I don't know that. But he certainly knows how the guitarist holds that note on the guitar. I almost went deaf
With the holding of the note, Fil, this is because the string is still vibrating and the pickups are still, well, picking up those vibrations. The note will continue to ring as long as the string is still vibrating or he releases it. Some other variables to this, but that is the short and skinny of it.
Should have done the studio version.
The messiah will come again gary moore will blow you aways too!!
YES!!!!
That is one famous 59 Gibson Peter Green gave that to him.
Nope ,not...this is his own signature guitar. I believe it is his 2000-2002 model with other pickups. Later this guitar became his new signature..
There are better live versions, but love Gary. Wait til you hear The Messiah will come Again 🤯
Try Joe Bonamassa
this is not the best version, montreaux 2010 way better
he was better in thin lizzy
