- Hello Everyone,
We are Beyond Borders, Josh & Hope, a couple living in South Africa who met in America. Josh is American, who met Hope during her studies in the States. We have since moved to South Africa, visiting Hope's hometown, the capital cities, neighboring countries and much more!

Aah Josh is very wise. People always say Tshivenda is the most difficult aggressive language. I can speak Tshivenda well myself but to hear an American speak it, wow!!

You're doing great my sister! "Hurini?" it sounds easier than "to ita hani? " & "ndi a livhuwa" it sounds familiar with other languages than "ndo livhuwa"
That’s true. For him, it’s all new since he doesn’t know any other South African language
You are FANTASTIC.BRAVO.
Thank you 🙌
Josh has just shamed me. I am South African and have not learned Tshivenda as much as you have. It's a pity my Venda brothers did not fall in love with me 😂
Please up your game 😂 Josh is coming for you with his skills
@@BeyondBorders_jh I think falling head over heals in love with a Tshivenda speaking person is an indicator for learning the language 😂

@@BeyondBorders_jh 😂😂😂😂 he is 100%
Josh has really learned a lot 🎉🙏ndhi mo Venda zwino
Ngoho zwavhukuma 🤩🤩🤩🤩 great job on your Venda skills too.
I love vhenda, but it is the most difficult language in South africa, that's why vhenda people knows almost all SA languages.
This is true 🙌😂😂😂 but once you learn it it’s easier to learn other languages.
@Sara_84, as a Pedi speaking from Limpopo Province, Polokwane, I found vhenda language more simpler than Tsonga. There have many words similar to Pedi language. I love the language, and from there I am aiming to learn Tsonga. I need to know these languages as we are all from The Great Province of Limpopo.
I can learn this words one by one but when coming to speak, I need degree
😂😂😂 That’s exactly Josh’s predicament right there
Zwi khou da hone, zwezwino u dovha atshi khou tshi amba Tshivenda.
Nga maanda. U khou konesa
You're way better than me yet I'm an African. I'm jealous 😅😅😅
It’s time to learn 😂🙌
👏👏👏👏👏
🙌
Tshivenda is very easy to learn when you stay with them because they don't compromise when communicate around someone don't understand it. I don't know it myself. But my friends who got married to them in months time they will come back speaking it perfectly. Although my mother speak perfectly because she says it's nearly the same as Shona in Zimbabwe I don't how related the language is but Shona and Venda is the same. Don't worry you will know it a months time. What I like it you tongue have to have a soft tongue
Yes, Shona and Venda are very similar. It is easy to learn the other when you know the other one.
And you are right, it’s easier to learn when you go there.
Hebanna 😂 The way he said " ndi hone "
It’s the American way 😂
Tshivenda....why VhaVendas use wrong words? Venda is the land and the People VhaVenda and the land is Venda.
Ask him : O tzudha makhowane
😂😂😂😂Hah?
Love you guys and you've just inspired me to teach my Xhosa husband Tshivenda...because ria musola shem aand haripfi at all 😂😂😂
Teach him please 😂 Josh ha tsha solea. He understands quite a bit
@@BeyondBorders_jh thank you nwana wa hashu ndido zama ugudisa😅, stay blessed you two❤!
