Update: resonator went out about a year after purchase. Had a bad rattle to it, replaced it with a new magnaflow one. No more rattle and it still sounds good. The Yonaka exhaust was cheap so I'm not shocked that this happened, although I do wish it would've lasted longer than just 1 year before needing a repair.

any issues with the exhaust since you added the Magnaflow res?

Muffler went out shortly after the res as well lol. The replacement Magnaflow res and muffler are much better quality and sound, no complaints. Car is currently sitting and under the knife for some big turbo action

Overall, worth or it or go for a more expensive one like the magnaflow or something?

Don’t waste your money on the Yonaka cb, just get a Magnaflow, Borla, etc. a more trusted brand. buy once, cry once lol. On a side note, I highly recommend getting a catless testpipe if you see any pop up. I noticed a huge improvement in sound & performance.

Hello, is there a way for me to contact you, is it to ask you a question related to the exhaust system?

USP used to sell them but don’t anymore, I recommend joining the VW 2.5 groups on FB, I bought mine secondhand from a member on there. I’ve sold it since as I’m in the process of boosting the car now

At first yes it did, after I tuned the car and installed a o2 sensor spacer the CEL was gone and the car ran (and sounded) beautiful

@@makarsemenov3085 I went with IE and flashed it at home with a laptop, I really recommend them. I have the stage 2 intake manifold from IE as well, but the car in this video was still stock tune at the time. I have a couple short clips of the Golf doing a pull or two with the IE tune installed. In the process of boosting the car now, hopefully I’ll be able to post an update video soon.
