when I married my awesome wife 26 years ago we had the cheapest wedding and ended up having a reception party afterwards which went on for 3 whole days and nights, it was incredible. In my own mind getting married to my love was I guess my way to shout out to the world that I love her and want to spend the rest of my life with her especially for the fact that my side of the family strongly disapproved of her. Even to this day now our two boys have grown up my side of the family still refuse to have anything to do with my little family, even our boys. That hurt for the longest time but the straw that broke the camels back was when I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer they even turned their backs on me even when my grandmother died I was banned from the funeral. Anyway we are still together, still very strong and still so madly in love with each other that nothing else truly matters.
@Iggi Barratto thank you Iggi, I am very lucky. They've missed out on watching our two boys grow up, my eldest is in his mid 20s now and he's said that if he ever sees them he's going to knock out my ex brothe and sad excuse of a father. Ive told him they're not worth it but he still holds so much contempt for them, i guess he's just very protective of me.
I'm so sorry to hear your health condition. May God be with you. And we love you for loving and standing by the lady of your heart. Lots of love and blessings 🙏🙏🙏
To all the idiots who are abusing. Punjabis know how to behave and respect other religion and culture. We know self respect. I have a lot of friend here in Netherlands and they say im really different than other Indians boz i dot wear flipflop in shoping centers and shirt in summer and smeel onions like other indians do. Fucking i almost have 7 perfumes and 30 shoes and fucking hell of clothes which some of i never wear. So finall thing, We Punjabies r different than other fellow indians. So remember assholes
I been watching your videos for a while now and just love your positivity and open mindedness and more and more i watch, the more I realize our beliefs and personalities are so similar, almost every time you talk about your moral or religious beliefs and all I'm like, wow these feel like exact same words I've said myself. I'm 37 and still single myself, I've just never met a women with anywhere near similar beliefs or things in common as me, and honestly women just aren't attracted to me. But you some how made it work despite not wanting a big wedding, not wanting kids, not having a ton of money and property, and so on. Now one thing you have that I don't is looks, your far more handsome then I am, but it makes me wonder if there is still someone out there for me. The thing is, i have 0 interest in wasting time dating, using those apps and so on. For me I'm ok if I'm Single forever, but at same time I'm completely open to one day meeting right person but I'm not going to spend most of my life searching, if it happens it happens, if not it doesn't. But I absolutely love that someone who seems to have all same values as me did end up finding someone, falling in love, and marrying despite everything, despite differences in culture and all that. You joked about your story being turned into a Bollywood story but your life could really be made into a movie. I'm happy for you and wish you the best. Again more i watch your videos the more I love your as a person and want nothing but the best for you, I really wish there were more people in this world like you, but sadly people like you are very rare. Even in America in the "land of the free" people are still incredibly close minded on a lot of things and that's especially become apparent in recent years and it's unfortunate. My hope is channels like yours can some how changed the mind of a lot of closed minded people out there.
Thank you for your support! There's someone for everyone out there. It just takes time to find them. And I think people settle too early for someone just because of the pressure to get married... then it doesn't work out so well. I'm just glad I waited and didn't marry early. I found my wife outside of my home country, so maybe you'll meet someone outside too when travelling.
ZENGRATH, Are you serious? You find this guy good looking? I find this guy not good looking at all although I have great respect for Karl and his wife and their show is my favourite show, if I can be honest, he is far from good looking, the reason you are not getting married probably because you are a low self esteem person, I am very sure you are way good looking, you just refuse to see it, you even mentioned that you love Karl’s “positivity and open mindedness” you need to be open minded and positive, Zen, you need to be positive and open minded.
Very unexpected respone from parents.... Amazing, salute for this openness and courage to take this decision against very conservative Jat society 👍👍👍 And congratulations
What? He is marrying a jatni?? How's that possible without guns and firing😂😂. Strange. Jat families usually don't allow marrying in the same gotra, different caste and religion. I think time is changing...
@IBrainedMyDamage when you try to book cheap hotels offline with a girl they will think its prostitution and ask some annoying questions. but it's not a problem nowadays.
@IBrainedMyDamageNot all hotels are couple friendly in India, only married couples are allowed to stay together and have to produce some documents that are related to proving that they are married :)
IBrainedMyDamage :Indians have friends and relatives almost everywhere and Ofcourse when you visit the cities and the friends are aware about it then they won’t let you stay in hotels😊😊😊. Especially when you are newly wed🤷♀️
You won't have problems booking hotels anyway...as long as you're out of the cowbelt of India. In places like Srinagar, Darjeeling, Kolkata ,Mumbai and much of south Indian cities, they don't bother you with all that
Great decision on NOT having an expensive wedding. Most of us in India need to understand this. Edit: You wish that things won't change after marriage. I wish you all the best. May you both have a wonderful life together!

I also didn't do big fat wedding, just one Lunch party to everyone (700-800 guests) and we were done in just 2-3lakh Rupees. Trust me its hell lot cheaper then 99% of indian weddings. And then got it registered officially.
@Ganga Din what poor people? 2-3lakhs is the poorest you can get. Even beggers on streets have crore rupees bungalows. Not to mention these poor people are mostly criminals who act like they are poor but have crores of property with them, to give you an example, here is a real story my friend had hired a maid, she was very poor atleast claimed to be, after 1 month she stole atleast 70-80 lakhs of jwellery from his house, till this date she is untraced, and she probably looted more homes by now. So are poor people really poor? A survey conducted that beggers/Hijras begging in signals make atleast 5K-20K rs daily on an avg depending on the bheek they get. the only poor people in India are middle class people like us because we don't pretend anything. Living in slums and not having car, doesn't mean they are poor.
@Corban hehehe :) :D "What is visible is not what it is, but what it is , is not visible." ~Ronit Roy Adaalat You might not believe there are many movies based on this huge scam, and books too. One of the books is "Mr.Beggar Billionaire", one of the movies "Traffic Signal". Who knows maybe in your country these beggars are pretending too!!! You already seen the movie called "John Wick", where beggars had lethal guns and worked for the assasin organization, just pretending to be beggars, all these ideas don't just come up with imagination in writer's mind, we common people don't know anything. Those at power know all these scams happening, and its done under them.
Totally agree with you on the big wedding issue. Your wife seems to be very intelligent and down to earth, you both make a great and balanced couple. All the best and looking forward to see more from both of you.
I understand you don't want a big wedding. But "a wedding" is a must. Even a simple wedding. A wedding is a symbol for the unity of the two of you. If you don't get married, it's almost looks like you're not serious about the relationship.
Why does your story sounds exactly like ours 😂. My husband is British and our reception is due this summer in Assam. Only difference is that we will not be living with my parents. Congratulations to you both 😉

when I married my awesome wife 26 years ago we had the cheapest wedding and ended up having a reception party afterwards which went on for 3 whole days and nights, it was incredible.

Oh wow Karl loved your story.Manisha looks amazing.i loved the fact her parents accepted your ideas.congrats.keep posting.

You won't have problems booking hotels while traveling with her after you are married..
True😂😂😂

You might not believe there are many movies based on this huge scam, and books too.
