Nice review, thanks! 👍 Does it have motorized zoom/focus/pan with stored mem positions, so it can switch with the touch of a button between screen formats for 16:9, 21:9, and those with 1.85:1 (popular on many TV series and some movies)? Definitely need that to fill a cinemascope projection screen when a movie is in 21:9 format (which good movies use), but to switch back to 16:9 for normal TV/series content.

checked their user guide they got 4:3 and 21:9 as standard so you can switch between both. not sure if the button like that exists tho

No, the BenQ GP500 does not have motorized zoom/focus/pan with stored memory positions. This means that you will need to manually adjust the zoom, focus, and pan each time you want to change the screen format.
