I am a college student and last week was my first time having a formal job application in the BPO Industry. I was able to pass the interviews in Sutherland and also passed their Language Assessment after second take. 😭 Fortunately, I was able to pass the final interview in VXI as well. The only preparation I had was only through watching your videos from the oldest to recent ones. Thank you so much po and more power! ❤
Ps. I remember during my final interview in VXI for the AT&T account, the interviewer conducted 2 mock calls. I was so surprised because I thought I would just be asked with series of questions, luckily, I watched your mock call videos and was able to learn the keypoints that should be noted in mock calls. 😭

I failed my call center initial interview during the other day despite doing well in the exams. I felt sad because I really needed this job. Yes, it's not exactly the end of the world since there are tons of other companies and jobs out there, AND I could reapply at the same company after 30 days. I'm glad I found your channel, it's very informative. I thought that having English as my first language was enough but it turns out that my usual way of speaking English won't be exactly appropriate for a call center/customer service setting. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I'll continue applying for the rest of the month.

Im a newbie that time and i applied and failed to most of the BPO industry here in the city. Now, i went back to this channel smiling. I got the regular position after 6 months. I take calls and email as well. I promoted to level 3 after 9 months that is where i assigned to back office work. Thank you for the knowledge Kwestyon and to all newbies out there, laban. Finally, i love you. But, i want you to help me become the best call center representative ever. Recently, i failed with a company after days of training. I was one of the best, not so for the Job. I have a second chance, I'll start on may 20. I REALLY need your help. You convinced me with your trainings.
Thank you for these useful videos.

I was about to take my account validation for a travel account, specifically airline account. But unfortunately, the security guard of the building didn't let me in because I couldn't present a valid ID to enter their office. HAHAHAHAHA

    Given the question
"DO YOU INTEND TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL TO STUDY?" This is my response.. is it bad?
"At my age and as a father, i would probably focus on providing for my family, especially for my daughter, going back to school to learn academics can go by anytime. But right now im thinking on how to earn and improving myself professionally by taking this opportunity. When everything is stable and i can see that things can go well without worries, Then maybe i can think of going back to learning academics, but im afraid that it will take a long time for me to settle those things. So my answer to that question is NO going back to school is not an option for me right now, im more focused on my career rather than learning in school.

It's really indeed helpful for those who can speak ENGLISH fluently, honestly the question was too hard for me though. How can a not so good in english could pass that kind of interview?

    • @Kwestyon
      @Kwestyon  2 года назад +4

Learn that the questions exist and prepare for them? Hihihi. Really, I heard of applicants writing a "script" and memorizing the answers. It's not foolproof but it helps somehow.
I think THE answer to that is to improve your English. After all, the interview's very purpose is to assess the applicant's communication skills through English. If it doesn't meet the criteria, then improvements are in order.
They're not looking for perfect grammar (god knows i don't have that) but they're looking for something passable. To speak to customers, agents should be able to express themselves. That's the demand of the job. It sounds merciless but hey it's business. Is the pay even worth it? In some cases yes, some no. But to some, it's a step forward. And it's better than nothing. Until something better comes along.

Hi Ms. Sheena! I'm an avid fan of your informative videos. They helped me a lot when I was just starting out. Can you please make a video about what we are supposed to do or how we can negotiate our salary when we're presented with a job offer and scenario B - if we have already accepted the offer & we want to renegotiate the salary even only after a few months on the job? Thank you!

NO CALL CENTER EXPERIENCE, NO WORK EXPERIENCE and COLLEGE UNDERGRADUATE.
All thanks to you, Ms. Sheina! 🤝🏻
And to anyone who doesn't have any confidence and afraid what might be the result in applying in the Call Center Industry, you only need to trust yourself just like I did.
The step you're afraid to take might be the game changer. I'm rooting for you! 🤩

If I can only speak and share my ideas like this, I think I will be hired😢 I'm feeling down right now 'cause I just failed my initial interview. I think I need to work on my self, avoiding panic attack so I can think carefully before answering questions. And that's my biggest weakness. However, life is not all about winning, we need to experience loses so we can learn our mistakes and be good next time.
