i have this mini pc and agree that for gaming it's best left in auto mode. I also disabled turbo boost by enabling a power option via regedit, it throttles much less, doesn't affect fps that much.

This really looks like a solid computer for a family remember... The issue would be repair would be pretty much impossible and/or expensive

Yeah, repair is very hard on these small form factor machines, since you can't just go out and swap a motherboard. A lot of what goes wrong - a flaky SODIMM or a dying SSD - can be fixed, but if some surface-mounted power delivery component goes sideways, you're stuck with a brick.

I got this... I bought it for DJing, I wish I new how to control the LED's lol
