Any middle grade books you’d recommend? I think there’s something so nostalgic and escapist about a YA book that adult books just don’t provide as much
Nothing wrong with that! I’m 36 and still read Harry Potter and ya fairytale Retellings. They’re fast paced and mostly guarantee a happy ending so you finish the book in a good mood. Adult fiction might kill your favorite character and hurt the doggie!
@@allypagley there really is! Some books I kinda enjoy but I know if they weren’t attached to happy memories I’d probably never read em again like Neverending Story
I almost dnf’d the Cruel prince series because I didn’t like the main character. I stayed tho because I loved the politics. Book three is the one that made me go “okay, I love this series” because I could finally like the main character lol I dnf’d red queen almost immediately cuz at the beginning of the book her thoughts gave strong “I’m not like other girls” vibes and I was cringe laughing and knew I wouldn’t be able to take her seriously 😅
Interesting! My experience was the opposite with these books how funny! But I completely see your point with both reading experiences, thank you for sharing! Prince Carden was def the saving grace though for the cruel prince series 🙃
Fingers crossed I don't step on any toes with this video! What's your favorite YA book???
