Based on my experience: A freestyle kayak obviously. Maybe try out the jackson rockstar 4.0 or the new Rockstar V. Gui Gui has some awesome freestyle kayaks too, like the 2018 helixir (the helixir is also available in carbon instead of plastic) You could also test out some other freestyle kayaks, maybe some by pyranha or wave sport. But right now, jackson and gui gui are simply the best on the market, maybe the new rebound by EJ’s new company apex watercrafts will be awesome too, but its not on the market yet and also quite expensive for a first freestyle kayak
