the fourtwenty pyranha had a optimum paddler weight of 75kg. I think you have more and this makes it a lot easier. I am jealous, I am to to tall at to less weight.
Dexs59 Yes you are absolutely right. I am 77,5 kg and it is very easy to stall both ends. Love the boat but sold it. Now I only have 2 playboats All-Star and Jed.
I wish I could do that. I paddle a riot Disco and it's not as modern as yours and I throw mine into moves like that lol and it does f**k all. You make it look so easy 😂
It is a Pyranha 4 Twenty size S/M. And thats why i like that boat for flatwater stuff as it is smaller than a medium and bigger than small with slicey ends.
I got a playboat trick lesson yesterday and didn't manage a single thing. Everything is opposite to what it should be 😅 why, when the throw your weight forward, does the back end of the boat end up underwater 😆
you got skills man!! I'm not sold on the music tho : - ) Question, is it possible to paddle these play boats into the current of a river or will they spin all over the place? Guess the word I am looking for is "tracking"... is there any small boat that tracks well?
We use these short boats for surfing river waves. They surf almost as good sideways as forwards or backwards. Playboats are about 6 foot long. If you are looking for tracking go for 8 foot or longer. If the hull has sharp edges it will track better than a boat with a rounder hull.
Yes it is hard to do the vertical moves. Most playboaters I know can not do anything vertical. but if you break it down and practice on each step it will go. It is also very very important to have the boat set up well for your body length and weight. On flatwater I recommend to move the seat as far forward as possible to simplify the bow stalls. Stern stalls are a lot easier than bow stalls due to the lower volume stern.
Finally cracked the plowing ender today and was able to consistently bow stall!
That is awesome! You will use it for so many other tricks now. How about doing cartwheels directly from a bowstall?
@@winsurfer888 That's the dream!
Ooooh just got a playboat. Excited to learn it
Congrats to your playboat. Try to find a nice river wave to surf and you will see what it is all about. Even sea waves are super fun to surf.
The stern squirt is very nice
Yes I like it a lot, specially stern squirt into bow stall. It demands less effort than going straight for a bow stall.😅

anyway, very nice Playboating.
Great vid!
Hi Simon, I like your videos tooo
Groovy
What's the trick called where the bow is fully under water, stern is up and you spin around and twist while staying bow down
I would call it flatwater bow piruette. One of many cool stuff to practice anywhere where there is water 😃
That would be a bow piruette. Can be done fast or slow. A full 360 degrees is nice
I wish I could do that. I paddle a riot Disco and it's not as modern as yours and I throw mine into moves like that lol and it does f**k all. You make it look so easy 😂
Yes it can be easy some days and other days nothing works. Try to move the seat as far forward as possible to make the bow dip easier 😉
what boat is that? im looking at getting back to playboating

+winsurfer888 thanks think i'll get one of those

Try to move your seat as far forward as possible. It helps all flatwater tricks except the loop. ☺️

You make that look effortless lol thanks for the help tho
