Nah. I don't like OW2 because I think Blizzard are highly incompetent. They don't stand by any of their design choices, the amount of reworks certain characters in the game have had is mind boggling. They know they got incredibly lucky when designing a hero like Tracer, because they've never needed to do anything with her aside from minor tweaks and bug fixes. Most other heroes get absurd changes and reworks constantly.
Also, one reason why 5v5 is worse than 6v6 is that they removed a key role that helped limit Widowmaker. Since the game's inception she has been a cancer, and OW2 only made it worse. It's crazy how well the Rival's devs understood this and made Black Widow feel way fairer in comparison both in her design, and just the overwhelming amount of mobility in the game in comparison to OW.
I'm not telling you that Rivals doesn't have balancing issues. Hela, Luna, Mantis and Hawkeye are all definite problems at the moment. But I legit find the game more fun as it stands, and I don't think it's fair to say that Rivals will have the exact same balance philosophy when we haven't seen their first balance patch yet.
As far as I'm concerned I think the only thing Overwatch has over Rivals in every respect is optimization. The game runs like absolute butter, and that can't be denied. But other than that, I would much rather play Rivals over OW, and that is not due to new game bias. Some super fun kit ideas in heroes like Magik, Spidey, Iron Fist etc compared to aids shit like Orisa, Mauga, Sombra, etc. Has arguably has one of the most talented art teams I've seen in a long time, tanking to me feels fixed in Rivals compared to OW (where it's just fucking misery and you can't do anything), but I think the number one thing for me just has to be the devs.
At this point I fucking despise Blizzard. They are known liars on so many fronts, involved in numerous controversies, clearly don't play their own game (their devs peaked in gold, Rivals devs were farming Necros/Flats on stream), and are greedy as fuck. OW2 should have never been created and I will forever believe that. They deserve to crash and burn, and I'm glad Rivals is here to give them competition. Their dev team so far seem passionate and care a lot about the product. I had optimism for OW once, but it died after what Blizzard did to it. As it stands I'm choosing to support the game that looks like it has a future.
@@Raelyn thats cool that you like Rivals more and I know what you’re saying, but still ow is a good game if it matches your gameplay preferences. For example you don’t like OW because you don’t like Mauga, Orisa which are currently meta, and I like Overwatch because I like to play Mauga from time to time and I have no problems with playing against him. It’s all just preferences and that why non of these games will kill each other. There won’t be a moment where suddenly 80% of ow players will completely leave ow for Rivals and vice versa. Unless Blizzard REALLY decides to destroy their own game with like fr absolutely tragic hero / gameplay changes and thats why I’m scared of their recent thinking about bringing back 6v6. With all heroes we have rn and current small problems with balancing the game I can’t believe Blizzard can bring back 6v6 which is gonna be well balanced. It might be even worse than 5v5 during its first days after launch of ow2, but we’ll see
Oh and btw, I’m blizzard hater as well. I just like the game itself and I think its good, but blizzard as a company is absolutely fucking tragic. At least the blizzard we have for the last like 5 years. The old blizzard that used to be led by Jeff Kaplan at the launch of ow1 was actually peak
Overwatch just had the rotten luck of being the brainchild of one of the worst developer on the market. Speaking as an OW1 fan, Blizzard kept slapping my face again and again and again. I know when I'm being abused, and Blizzard is one of the most abusive companies to its players and consumers.
@@SmGTwist as a og too, I think blizzard might be even the worst game company ever. They are def one of the worst
I am no Blizzard apologist, but speaking purely about this comparison between OW and Rivals, Netease is so much worse than Blizzard. In fact I'm upset I'm enjoying Rivals as much as I am because I have no faith in Netease as a company. Trust me that if Rivals ever starts to drop off in popularity, they will begin far more predatory practices than Blizzard ever did in an attempt to begin milking whales as far as they are able.
I’m currently playing both Rivals casually with friends and Overwatch for competitive. While I’m having fun with both, Overwatch is undeniably the more polished game. Switching back to Overwatch after an hour of Rivals feels like going from rough edges to smooth butter.
That said, I don’t see Rivals having the same staying power as Overwatch. As players start taking Rivals more seriously, I think its flaws will become more apparent.
@@siggspi thats exactly what I’m saying. And I still don’t understand people who say that Rivals is better than overwatch, because Rivals is unbalanced, when their reason why they left Overwatch 2 is that it was unbalanced lmao
It’s like if they had a book called Overwatch 2, said that its content is trash, then took off just the Overwatch 2 book cover while leaving the same content, then put Marvel Rivals book cover on it and now call it better xD
stockholm syndrome, sunk cost fallacy

@@mahino420 let him cook 🗣️🔥🔥😭
The amount of cope in this video is insane, your take at the end was absolutely idiotic, claming if someone doesnt like any aspects of overwatch, then they just must not like shooter games. I have friends who would never touch overwatch with a ten foot pole that love rivals, they're two completely different games and this whole argument of one killing the other is just dumb, repetitive and annoying. Who knows if rivals will die? Who really cares? People are having fun with it now and thats what matters. People are out here defending overwatch as if the developers havent been the laziest sacks of shit ever that clearly dont even understand their OWN game, but sure, if you really have a boner for ow keep playing it, no one is forcing anyone to play anything else. These types of videos have just gotten so repetitive and bothersome, just stfu and play your game.
@@kemoree damn, chill out lil guy. These videos are just personal opinios and we should respect other ppl opinions even if we don’t agree with them. Nothing I said in this video is a cope, it’s all facts. When it comes to the part where I said that ppl who don’t like any aspect of ow won’t like Rivals, I meant that if people don’t like getting bullied on ranked, or they don’t like the game when balancing is not favoring their fav heroes then they probably* won’t like Marvel Rivals too, cuz Rivals will have the same problems in the future once people learn how to play the game and will start to abuse strongest heroes.
It is really fun for me. Tanking feels so much better than in OW2 for me. Been playing a lot of Captain America, I love the movement mechanics of him.
For those wanting to know why 6v6 and open are better, I'll explain:
More players means more team building options.
No locked roles means more hero choice, more diverse teams, and faster queues.
Its the same reason OW classic was such a breath of fresh air.
Blizzard reminded me of the game I fell in love with, then MR came out and reminded me that other games can be that fun.
Enjoy your shitty version of OW.
@@fettbub92 you right, but at the same time all of your arguments why 6v6 and no role lock are better is a downside, because more players on your team means that you have one more person that can throw your game and make it harder for you to solo carry. And no role lock means people will troll, pick 6 dpss and these type of things. This is the part most of OG overwatch players, that now complain about 5v5, don’t remember
Give it time you'll go back on that. Tanks in Rivals have literally no play making ability, their damage is far too low and have no burst damage whatsoever outside of Magneto's secondary fire. Pretty much their only role in the game is just being meat-slabs. The only thing holding back OW2's tank gameplay from being better is the fact that there is only 1 tank but that might change soon.
But other than that both support and DPS are way better in Rivals imo
@alarminglyfastmovingskelet7289 play making is more than just getting elims. Tanks in this game have so much utility to function as they need. It reminds me more of old overwatch, and the kit combos thay could be used. Either comboing abilities or playstyles.
@@Skyblue_ttv you will always have the risk of throwers or "bad teammates." No game format can fix that. Maybe stay away from multiplayer games if you cant stand playing with others.
@ That would be fine if Rivals wasn’t so heavy on sustainability. If you are a tank and you get say one of the supports isolated there is still a very low chance of you killing them by yourself.
Realistically speaking the only thing keeping Rivals from falling into a complete sustainfest where nothing ever dies is the lack of a support like Brigitte. If the devs ever cave in and add a support that is similar to Brigitte we’re gonna see a meta similar to double shield in OW
killing overwatch only right now because its new but once people get super competitive and start hating going against unbalanced hero’s it will just lose all the magic it had on launch and feel just as overly competitive and day ruining as an overwatch match
@@giulianokurtulaj7682 exactly. Marvel Rivals gonna run into literally the same problems as Overwatch, but it just needs time. Once ppl learn the game, suddenly some hero’s will become op and ppl will complain that Marvel Rivals also has bad balancing etc. But we’ll see which direction Marvel devs will go
the only thing currently threatning marvel rivals is how badly optimized it is, however the game will always be more fun than overwatch because overwatch is balanced top down while marvel rivals is just unbalanced
it is like league vs dota league beat dota and all other mobas simply because it is so unbalanced it is more fun to play because yea u wil lget shit on but one game ur gonna be the asshole shitting on others (plus 1 sec queue times in marvel rivals overwatch cant compete)
@@mahino420 thats my only reason why Marvel Rivals is better than OW2 when it comes to the game itself, how good is it and not players experience - queue times. If you are below GM queue times are not that bad, but if you’re gm+ and especially gm1 / champion, sometimes you wait 30 - 90m to get a game
@@Skyblue_ttv i would have stayed as an overwatch player but when they revealed pve isn't coming i quit the game, they made me wait for years and i remember they didnt release any updates for 2 years with the excuse of overwatch 2 development which was just an update that removed lootboxes and 6v6
i am playing marvel rivals because overwatch and blizzard don't deserve anyone's time and tbh i hope all overwatch players switch to rivals if temporarily maybe the kick in the butt will wake up the overwatch devs and make them actually get their shit together
@@mahino420 I mean thats true. I also got really pissed at blizzard for what they’ve done in the last few years, but I we can’t deny the fact that the base game itself if peak. Its literally impossible to make overwatch bad on accident. This game is so good Blizzard can only make OW bad and unplayable on purpose
@@mahino420I was mad at them too but then I remembered being angry at them didn’t serve me at all and I bought OW1 for pvp. My $60 was happily spent before a promise for PvE was ever made. Those $60 were happily spent before the game was decided to be live service. I got my value out of the game I paid for and then some. So boycotting over a mode I didn’t buy the game for and unsustainable monetization strategy in loot boxes just doesn’t seem real to me. I’d just be pretending to care and taking myself away from a game I genuinely enjoy playing even when it annoys me every other match
@@JojiUrHomie I feel exactly the same. I’m only mad that they made ow ftp because now we have more smurfs and lootboxes were really fun to collect and open, but I still play this game to have fun on ranked on scrims, so I don’t really care about lootboxes and events
I will never agree that you should purely balance around pros. That's how you get characters who are totally worthless and throw picks at low skill levels just because they've got a high skill/coordination reliant ability that has the potential to make them overpowered at high ranks. Symmetra is an example of this. You also get pubstomper characters who are oppressive at low skill levels just because they're "fine" at high skill levels.
As for the Rivals vs Overwatch comparison, I actually never enjoyed Overwatch that much. I got it on launch day in 2016 and never got what other people saw in it. I like playing some characters so I intermittently came back to it, but I get tired of it quickly and have to put it down again. Plus I find the majority of the cast infuriating to play against. Rivals I actually went into not wanting to like it because I don't like Netease, but... I am genuinely having so much fun and I can't stop the urge to keep playing it.
@@Zakon673 the thing is, when you balance heroes based on pros feedback they will be balanced for people who know how to play that game. And as you said some heroes that are harder to play will be considered throw picks in low elo, but not because character is underperforming in that rank, but because player who plays that character hasn’t learned it yet and it makes sense, because if you want to get a higher rank, you should improve at the game and your heroes. Other wise now you have brainded Sojourn mains in plat who carry games only because Soj is op so they don’t even need to be good at her and on pro level soj is just extremely op and destroys the entire game both for players and people who watch Overwatch esports. I can’t explain it better than that :/
@@Skyblue_ttv I agree with you, but I think they did a good job with Sojourn. I am far from a high skill player but I think she feels totally fine now. I am able to play her to a decent level and I see other Sojourns I encounter seem to do well. To my knowledge, she's also fine at high ranks.
The kind of characters I'm more worried about are characters who can totally dominate low skill lobbies and they get away with it because in high skill lobbies they're weak. Junkrat is a pretty great example of what I mean, I think. Or again, characters like Symmetra who have a potentially broken power if used in high skill groups, which necessitates the rest of their kit to be kept weak, totally screwing over people who just wanna play the character because they think they're cool.
@@Zakon673 soj is nice now. She is still really strong, but she’s not op. She just needs a small changes to make her again more of a rail gun hero, rather than soldier like hero, but it’s not sth that is like really necessary. Same with Mauga. He, just like soj, was completely broken at the launch, but blizzard is slowly balancing him really well. They still make a lot of questionable balance changes, which now all people who quit ow for Marvel Rivals, bring as a reason why OW is a terrible game, but they are just overexaggerating (especially when we are talking about orisa buff). Like those trash balance changes are really not a big of a deal. Casual ow players are just mad at blizzard for literally everything nowadays and even if Blizzard would buff Orisa again and give her just +1hp more, everyone would again start to meltdown and trash talk blizzard that this buff just completely destroyed ow and now orisa is even more op. Like cmon xDDDD
@@Zakon673 and I’m not even joking with that Orisa buff. People just hate orisa cuz they don’t know how to play against her. And fun fact, Orisa in high elo and pro play is quite bad, but ppl in lower ranks instead of learning how to play against her (which btw is really easy) prefer to just blame blizzard for every single small buff they give her that literally doesn’t even make any difference for high elo players
coming from someone who doesn't really play hero shooters but have played both, feel like overwatch's lifespan has both been prolonged and neglected by blizzard and it would take smth like another company to actually make overwatch stand on its own again
since the main gripe against overwatch anyways is how the company treated it, and what the devs are doing in rivals felt like a breath of fresh air
overwatch did kind of fell off but went into some sort of hibernation when the pve was announced, which was probably what kept it alive for a bit.
but genuinely overwatch should be developed by another company and not blizzard, y'all deserve better honestly
@@qniquma if riot or fortnite epic games overtook ow, it would’ve been peak game. And they would’ve made ow series which everyone has been asking for since literally first days of ow1. If blizzard actually made Arcane like ow series instead of making PVE which we didn’t get anyways, they would not only make a lot of money, but they would bring a lot of new players to the game and please their curret fanbase.

@@19vaida87 facts, but ow is actually not dead.
whiners will whine. Keep whining as OW thrive
@@admin-nimda blizzard is actually slowly improving ow so let’s let them cook. They won’t make ow as good as it used to be in ow1 but I believe they can make that game way better than it is rn
@@admin-nimdaOverwatch is not thriving if you had eyeballs you would see that
@@Skyblue_ttv why are you accepting dogshit from this company, why has everyone's standards lowered so much that this game gets a pass...Blizzard doesn't deserve to still have their game thrive after they shot their fanbase in the head. Overwatch 1 is one of my favorite games of all time, and I refuse to acknowledge the absolute embarrassing corporate greed of OW2 that OW1 died for.
I cant play marvel rivals and enjoy it in a competitive format as much as overwatch, the biggest thing for me besides the characters, and open queue and all that jazz. Its the aim feel. I have pretty good aim all things considered, and i just feel like my aim is always so off in marvel rivals. Im connstantly tweaking my settings and never finding something that feels good. In ow, if i change my settings slightly, it takes a very short amount of time to adjust, whereas in rivals, i feel like i just never can
@@aidanibarra3957 i think it might be the fact that Marvel is 3rd person shooter and not 1st person shooters and aiming in 3rd person shooters feels and works slightly different. I think someone actually made video or tweet about aiming in Marvel Rivals and that it has some problems, but I don’t remember who was it. Maybe thats a case
@Skyblue_ttv I play another over the shoulder 3rd person game called warframe. Now I know it's not a tactical, hero shooter... although- but anyway. The shooting actually works in that game. You aim and shoot, and it doesn't have a sort of syrupy feel to it, like you are slogging your mouse cursor though mud. Also fortnite, I don't play anymore but I remember the guns shooting perfectly fine. I was just shit at cranking 90°s so I quit while I was ahead lmao
Kinda chaotic video but ngl , I start doing 1 season breaks in Overwatch 2 and every time i come back , i having a good time and playing almost full season. Most people going to have burnout and its true when you grind
@@waiokol9446 exactly. If you only play ow you will burn out at some point, but once you take a break, you will enjoy the game again. Unless you’re really gaslighting yourself that ow is trash
Marvel Rivals it's not bad ngl, but people just hate Overwatch and blizzard that much, so they're trying to like Rivals no matter what because of that, that's why they're saying such things like "Rivals is more fun because it's unbalanced"
@@kirbinalg0n363 the best thing is that the people who say that Rivals is better because game is unbalanced are the same people who hate overwatch because it’s also unbalanced 🤣🤣🤣

Obviously, a licensed game immediately loses against literally anything original
This video nails it. People are glazing Marvel Rivals hard. In my opinion, Marvel Rivals as a game is not even better than Concord. It only gained its current temporary success because of its IP and people's blind hatred toward Blizzard.
@@admin-nimda exactly. Most ppl that swap from ow to Marvel is just mad at blizzard and thats why they say Marvel Rivals is better. Like, I get it that Rivale may be more fun for you to play, but it doesn’t make it a better game
blind hatred to blizzard??
do i need to remind myself why i uninstalled battlenet / ow early 23?
they literally cancelled all of the PvE stuff that was promised. they left ow1 in the dirt for AGES. they were working on PvE the entire time. then we get ow2, which is just one big patch to ow1, removing a player on each team. nothing mega new, just some reworks, a gamemode, and overall balance.
and then they start making all skins paid for, like 20 bucks for skins, when everything used to be earnable through gameplay. they removed ur level borders. they dont let u see ur own rank on ur icon, all to save ppl from toxicity??
i can dig on a LOT of other stuff and reasons for blizzard being bad. but i rly shouldnt have to... its not blind hatred, its rather justified.
also how come u say marvel rivals is worse than concord? Concord mind you, was like one of if not the LARGEST game flops ever??? rivals is doing crazy good with hundreds of thousands of players. concord had barely a few thousand at best.
Rivals is great on many different levels, a lot of good stuff there. no need to hate on ow or rivals, both are good games. it just sucks that ow is driven by blizzard, thats all.
@@Cryoptic_ Idk dude these Overwatch players are weird. They remind me of TF2 players back in 2016 when Overwatch first came out
Saying rivals isnt even as good as concord is the dumbest statement that I've ever heard come out of someone's mouth. Did rivals get a head start because of the IP? Yes, no shit. Is it still a genuinely good game? Also yes. When tens of thousands of people are switching to rivals, even the biggest overwatch content creators, you can't sit there and say it's not an objectively fun game to play, as if thousands of people are just playing a game to spite blizzard. Overwatch has been on a decline ever since 5v5 came out and no matter how much copium you take the game is objectively so shit right now it's unbelievable. Will either game kill each other? Probably not, but saying that rivals isn't a genuine competitor is just ignorant
@@GeosNotHere there are ALWAYS people who will be extremely sceptical or just blindly dislike whats new.

and now plenty of those cs fans are now begging for 120hz / tickrate servers, better hitreg, better anti cheat....
its the same loop. some people want to dislike marvel to be someone special, as to not be a sheep. but sometimes being a sheep is nice :P
The only thing that can kill Overwatch is Overwatch.
Rivals isn't a threat to the core players of Overwatch. It's an entirely different game, really.
High ELO OW isn't in too much trouble. Low to mid level OW will suffer from smaller player pools, because casual players who are only looking for hero fantasy will likely switch.
Calling anything an Overwatch killer is like calling any shooter a CS:GO killer or a CoD killer.
The biggest problem Rivals poses to Overwatch is stealing MARKET SHARE, and Blizz making less from the cash shop. But don't worry, Kiri will get a new skin every 2 weeks from now until the end of time.
@@waynetec13 facts. Marvel rivals is a better game only for casual gamers who play all games just for fun, or for people that are really mad at blizzard. Most of the regular overwatch players won’t switch to Rivals
@@Skyblue_ttvI'd imagine Blizzards biggest fear is that the top level content creators may switch over. The "Big guys" like Flats, Emongg, etc can shift attention easily.
I feel like several of them are drinking up the free content and views right now, but only time will tell if some of them make the jump.
Honestly, as someone who was a die hard OW fan since closed beta, and is now loving Rivals, my biggest fear right now is the OW community complaining that Rivals isn't OW.
To the OW fans: If you want to play a game like OW, then PLAY OW, don't try to force Rivals to be OW. Allow them to fill different niches.
@@waynetec13 tbh I think most of the biggest ow content creators won’t switch to Marvel Rivals. They can do that and it would really profit their growth as content creators, but Rivals is not as hard and complex as ow so they will get bored really fast. But if they decide to swap to Marvel Rivals I will be thankful cause that means now it’s gonna be easier for me to become the new generation of biggest ow content creators and I have huge plans for content and not only sitting on my fat ass and complaining about the game 24/7. I’m gonna be honest, current ow content creators are boring af and thats one of the reasons why I decided to become ow content creator. I want to bring back the old era of fun ow content that actually made many’s people love to overwatch better (me included). So if they want to swap, I won’t mind, especially cuz I know it would benefit both mine and their growth as a content creator so its a win win
@@Skyblue_ttv I agree with most of what you said, but I disagree that Rivals isn't as hard or complicated as OW. Right now, it's the wild west. As the community plays more, strengths, special interactions, and more will come about. Think back to the launch of OW 1. That gameplay looks insanely simple compared to today's gameplay. Not even figuring the extra mechanics added to the game since launch, we've managed to juice the heroes for every drop of skill expression. It'll happen in Rivals, too. It's already started with the introduction of comp.
The high level guys (not me, I'm an old guy with slow reflexes and bad eyes, and even worse aim.) are already talking about how certain skills and strategies become useless at the higher levels of gameplay. The pub stompers become throw picks, and the more complex interactions have more value. I feel like, if the community toxicity doesn't ruin one or the other, there's a future where each game can fill a particular niche, kinda like Fortnite vs something like Apex or Warzone. I'll always have a special place in my heart for OW, as it's the first competitive FPS I've gotten into, and Rivals definitely scratches a particular itch.
Personally, I think I prefer Rivals, but I still haven't un-installed OW. I'll probably always come back to it.
@@waynetec13 I mean you’re right, but it all depends how devs will change Marvel Rivals. They can make Rivals harder than ow in the future, but now it is way less complex than ow, especially aiming. Marvel Rivals is more about using abilities and overwatch is almost like a 50/50 aim and good ability usage. We just gotta wait and see how Rivals evolve
Okay here's my take.
I hate overwatch two for several reasons, and I'll try to break it down as someone's who's been enjoying Marvel Rivals.
1 monetization. This game isn't shoving microtransactions down my throat. it isn't making me pay for the battle pass just to get the RIGHT to own the new character day one. i know this was fixed, but it was a God-awful idea in the first place. Unlike all games with a battle pass system, when overwatch 2 started the coins weren't in the battle pass, so you can't buy one battle pass and get the next and then the next and so on. it feels money hungry to make people continue buying new passes when in other games there's the option just to buy one and get the next from completing the last. It was harder to get anything from progressing. you got 50 coins from doing a week's worth of challenges or something like that. it wasn't fair when just months ago you could've gotten a free loot box just from playing and even though this loot box shit has given me a severe gambling addiction I still appreciate it more than what overwatch 2 started with.
2 failed promises. The whole point of overwatch 2 was PVE, which because of Blizzard and corporate greed was canceled the whole reason the game was made objectively worse never came to be. it was all pointless. We were hyped for nothing. Instead, we got an unfinished buggy mess. Rivals haven't promised something like this before we were given what we wanted, and we love it
3 familiar faces. Let's all be real here, we all care far more about the Marvel characters then the overwatch ones. I've grown up with superheros and love their personalities and familiarity more than overwatch's now frankly bland characters and archetypes. being able to play as Star-lord or Squirrel Girl in a third person shooter feels like heaven while Overwatch just dropped the most boring season along with the most boring hero with the most disgusting design what's the point in going back?
4 better gameplay. It just feels smoother. the third person view makes it somehow feel less slow and disorienting. personally zipping around as Tracer gives me motion sickness while back flipping and zooming around as Star-lord doesn't. it just makes me feel less bored it's not as generic or bland like just another shooter, which gives it personality and style
5 Style. Speaking of which, the game just looks better. it has a more defined unique style that makes it pop. it doesn't feel like another shooter since it's based off and looks like comics. all the maps in Overwatch honestly look the same. There's no cartoony bright artsyle that intrigues me it's all dark and boring.
6 6v6. It makes matches last longer and more enjoyable. A team wipe feels more rewarding, and a team fight feels more exciting. especially since I'm a tank main being all alone, having to be the only damage sponge felt exhausting. It's the reason why I play open cue. The only reason why 6v6 failed in its later stages was all the shields, but most characters in Marvel Rivals don't have shields there's like three, so it still feels balanced.
7 quicker matches that don't make me want to kms. If I'm playing payload or point and a Ball or Lucio or Tracer are on the objective it takes forever to get rid of them I literally just want to commit toaster bath by that point I rarely ever have this issue in Marvel mainly because THERE IS NO BALL.
8 JEFF. Jeff is in the game that's all that needs to be said :3
All in all Marvel Rivals has just felt like overwatch but better in every way i have no reason to play overwatch anymore it's not as fun or replayable I'm not getting swarmed by Sombra every second while playing Rivals the devs won't lie to me they won't force microtransactions down my throat and instead of having to nerf everyone each patch everyone's broken so it's fair you have a right to an opinion I do too and my opinion in that overwatch has been dead for a long while and Marvel Rivals is the new overwatch it might die in a year too but hey every game besides Fortnite does.
Whoops meant to say PVE I'm such a silly lil guy but you know what I meant the MvM player vs cpu type stuff
@bAmb00zled189 I can relate to the bp part. I (as an ex og Fortnite and Rocket League player) was kinda upset that blizzard made bps that don’t give you full price of bp worth of coins back. Also I hate the fact that “seasonal” / “event” bps have literally like 1-2 seasonal skins, everything thing else is just a random shit and the whole rest of the seasonal skins (which is like 80-90%) is in the shop to buy for overpriced prices.
When it comes to Marvel Rivals I get all of your ow frustrations cause it also still makes me mad from time to time when I’m getting perma tunneled by sombra when I want to have fun on for example doom or pharah, but u know, the fact that now you don’t have annoying heroes like sombra / ball / tracer in Marvel Rivals doesn’t change the fact that they will probably add at least one super annoying hero in the future 😅 so I can only pray that they won’t make you dirty 😭
But who knows, maybe they will actually cook perfectly with their hero designs and they won’t release a single annoying hero. They literally have OW as a perfect feedback on what heroes or abilities people don’t like so there is actually a big chance they won’t make the same mistakes as Overwatch. Anyways, I love your response! Thank you for your great, really detailed opinion 🙌🏻🔥
@@Skyblue_ttv thank you for your calm collected response that isn't just overwatch glazing and your right they will most likely add annoying characters in the future I can't like them all there's always a chance for a slip up and I'll understand now that they have Overwatch's homework to copy off of including all the wrong answers though it'll be very hard to fuck this up
The new game freshness of Rivals wore off for me the moment I saw 4 dps and someone said "Someone go tank."
@@jrg7777 wahahaha. Thats literally the part of ow1 6v6 with no role lock that no one remembers. The times where you wanted to plain certain heroes, but you never could, cause you were forced to flex all heroes 24 due to your team always picking 5 DPSs. People who think no role lock ow was better either never played 6v6 no role lock ow, oe they are just hard coping just to have another reason to blame Overwatch 2. Sorry but it’s just facts maaan
nnot going to lie, i dont think overwatch is bad i just miss double tank as a tank player i will be honest mauga and orisa are unhealthy and they got buffed recently again which makes no sense at all than they nerf junker queen, a hero than by majority of the player base dont know how to play the hero, that why they say ow2 only lissen to pro's, ive see multiable pro even say that those heroes are unhealthy but guess what people will play it anyways because instead of having fun they want to win all the time. which ig is cool but it gets to the point it gets toxic. another example is when im a healer doing 4.325 dmg got 8.478 healing and 3.478 mititgation as briggs supp and my dps has less stats yet they blame healers or tank even tho they are the problem also some tanks dont feel the same at all zarya just constantly bubbles herself that why i move to marvel rivels with a premade team so atleast we got double tank and no locks on heroe cuz they get team ups also so mor variaty honestly allready
@@ClaymoreDesign I’m gonna make a video about role problem in Overwatch cuz noone speaks about it. The main problem why tanks are either op or terrible is not tanks themselves, but supports being broken and supports are enabling your entire team. In short, without supports your tank can’t do anything and when your tank can’t do anything, your DPSs can’t do anything.
@Skyblue_ttv yea good idea.
I played overwatch for the past few days and it just feels do awful. Every game I see Widow hanzo Ana combo and without two tanks to protect you either Play the same or Die
you are coping hard af, overwatch started dying once 5v5 started
why was it better? so many dps and tank characters have lost their identity bc they went to 5v5. Also that was not the 6v6 play test you absolute bot of a human. nobody played that mode bc it sucked it was day 1 patch. The real 6v6 test starts on the 17th. brother the more your video goes on the more i can tell you have zero clue what you are talking about and you deff are hard stuck in gold/sliver.
@@wwerty234 what am I coping? Let me know so I can explain what I mean
Love ow rivals looks like a fun party game
@jonstokes1832 fr! My fun party game is either DBD or For Honor
Well..
There are three types of people.
a) Those bored with Overwatch because of lack of freshness so they go to Marvel Rivals
b) Those bored with Overwatch because of lack of complexity so they go to Deadlock
c) Those who bought Overwatch 2 and are coping hard about their mistake :P
Bought overwatch 2? I thought it was free.
than their is me i went to marvel rivals cuz i miss the double tank meta and now me and my full premade team so we get marvel with 2 tank 2 dps and 2 supp xD i just dont like the unhealthy playstyle overwatch got either tanks are kajiu and almost never die examples are orisa zarya and mauga, orisa doesnt die mauga does more dmg than ur dps, and zarya doesnt feel like zarya anymore cuz she constantly bubbles herself now
@@psychelicious5003 Lul you are correct, I remembered buying it but I guess I got it mixed up with OW1:D
Well my point still stands, just swap it with buying skins:D
@@psychelicious5003 ow2 is free but original version of the game aka ow1 was paid. I bought it and I’m not mad that now its ftp because I spent my money on it. I’m mad because since they made it ftp now we have more cheaters, more multi accounts, more smurfs and also now we don’t have lootboxes and free skins cause blizzard has to make money. And also thats why now they only make skins for kiri, juno, mercy and dva cuz they need to be sure that ppl will buy those skins and even though I understand their point of view, I’m still mad
@@ClaymoreDesign yeah, the problem with tanks is that blizzard always buff or nerf them, which either makes them op or absolutely trash. And the real problem is not tank but supports being too broken. If blizzard nerfed supports and then slightly adjusted tanks (just like they’re doing now with mauga) tanks would become fun to play and well balanced and ppl wouldn’t complain about 5v5 being trash. Unless they just want to have 2 tanks for more interesting gameplay
This has to be rage bait
@@Dinos4829 it’s not. It’s just truth and truth often hurts 🤷🏼♂️
6v6 is the problem tho we need to go back to 6v6 and balance tanks again in the format super tanks in 5v5 dont work we have already seen this. The game is just a cycle of tank buffs and nerfs where at the end of the cycle dva mauga or orisa will turn hard meta
@bruh545 the problem of 5v5 isn’t tank, it’s supports. Buffing / nerfing tanks won’t do anything, because supports are the main problem why both tank and dps experience is miserable. Supports are just too op and they dictate the game both for your dpss and tank. I will prolly make video about it in the future
This topics are so useless.
People who prefer one game will play this game, that's it, nobody can say if it's or not a game killer.
The community will prove it or not.
@@Onitoryu true, people decide if one game will kill another or not. This vid is just my response to all ow players who are currently crashing out and telling everyone that Rivals will kill Overwatch, just because they are mad at blizzard when the game itself won’t die and is great.
@Skyblue_ttv i know it was not against you.
I told about the fact you have to do a video about this because too much people said bullshit about game killers.
@@Onitoryu yep, I just don’t want ppl to spread lies about good game, just because they are mad at the company for making mistakes that are not really effecting the gameplay
Let me know down below, what do you think about Marvel Rivals? Do you enjoy it more than ow? If yes, tell me why cuz I'm curious. Or ow2 still number 1?
🔥
The main reason Marvel Rivals feels more interesting to me than Overwatch is that the Marvel Rivals developers haven't made any major mistakes yet. This gives me hope that they will continue to bring good new content to the game, but I could be wrong-we’ll see in the future. On the other hand, Overwatch's developers, and Blizzard as a whole, feel like they're beyond redemption for me. I’ve completely lost hope in them, especially after they failed to keep their promises for Overwatch 2.
@@bela260 yeah I can relate to that. Me as a OG overwatch player who’s been playing this game since almost the release also got really mad at blizzard for everything they’ve done past few years, but still, the game itself is really good and it won’t be bad unless blizzard decides to make it bad on purpose
Good vid

Marvel Rivals is very spammy and art style is too sketch/comic looking. Plus it is unoriginal with many of the abilities are just copy pasted from OW.
facts with abilities. Rivals looks like someone thrown all ow hero abilities into spin wheel and used it to combine them into new heroes
