The opening riff of riff raff would have to be arguably one of the best openings to any rock song, the way the songs builds up, then explodes.

No other guitar player like him, ever. Some imitators, no duplicators.
If you want to see what he is truly capable of, watch their film "Let There Be Rock", which is footage of their concert in Paris from 1979, intercut with interviews of the band members. Angus is amazing throughout. The movie inspired many of today's musicians to play rock and roll.

"The other thing that separates AC/DC as a hard-rock band is that you can dance to their music. They didn't play funk, but everything they played was funky. And that beat could really get a crowd going. I first saw them play in 1979 at Madison Square Garden, before their singer Bon Scott died and was replaced by Brian Johnson. The crowd yanked all the chairs off the floor and piled them into a pyramid in front of the stage. It was a tribute to how great they were.I'll go on record as saying they're the greatest rock & roll band of all time. They didn't write emotional lyrics. They didn't play emotional songs. The emotion is all in that groove. And that groove is timeless." Rick Rubin

The one AC/DC concert I was lucky enough to attend, back in 1990, Angus flat wore the crowd out during his solo. It was 20+ minutes of mind control with a guitar and when the rest of the band returned to finish the set it took two songs for the crowd to get their second wind. I have seen Eddie Van Halen, Steve Vai, and a host of other hard rock lead guitar gods put on some incredible performances but Angus is still the man.

The drummer, Phil Rudd, is the unsung hero of AC/DC. Under the back-of-the-stage control of Malcom Young, Phil Rudd is the drive and the groove. He’s who makes it feel natural. These guys are so simple, they’re the best.
