No fluff commentary, well spoken
Appreciate it 🙏🏻
Excellent video. It’s always good to have a refresher. And when we upgrade to a new device this will serve as a valuable tool.
Glad it was helpful! Appreciate it 🙏🏻
Thanks for sharing. Very helpful. I appreciate this topic. Blessings on your day.
You're welcome!
That was a good to learn some of those settings I’ve now changed like the Journal app for example.
Thanks for watching!
You just saved me a bunch of reading the fine print! Great stuff and thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
What a super informative video. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Very informative video. I'm loving the content lately Stephen! Keep it coming
Means a lot, I'll keep it coming!
Due to the 17.4 update I learned devices (not users) have a "trust score". Digging into that may or may not be an interesting topic for a video.
Interesting, where is that found??
Stephen, along the lines of security, would you please do a video about the phenomenon of iPhones powering themselves back on? My wife is flight attendant for a major carrier, when she departs the west coast for Amsterdam she (deliberately) powers down her 2022, iPhone SE (fully updated). After arriving at the crew hotel, she’ll pull her iPhone out of her flight bag, only to find it’s powered on and has a battery strength of 5% or so. It’s starting to freak her out a little. I’ve done a bit of research, only to find others with similar issues. The obvious responses to the issue have been “it’s a hardware problem” “it’s a software related.” Her phone has behaved as described since she purchased it over a year and half ago (across all updates, never been wet or damaged ). Do you have any thoughts about this? Thanks for any input. Cheers 👍
Hm is there any chance either the Home Button, volume, or side buttons are getting pressed at any point in the flight?
@@beardfm I doubt it, but I’ll ask her. She’s meticulous about where she puts the phone. I’ll ask her to place it in a different spot, one that’s guaranteed not to put any pressure on the buttons. She does these transatlantic flights once a week. I’ll respond when we get some results. Thank you for your help 👍
Went out for a walk yesterday. Sat down on a bench on the side of the road for about 10 minutes to have a drink. Now that location appears as a significant location on my iPhone. A random bench that I used once for 10 minutes is now a significant location. 🤷♂️ There used to be a way to see all your significant locations on a map, and it was pretty eye-opening. It appears you can’t view that map anymore.
wow...
Hey.. I enjoy all the videos and i have learned alo and thank you , with that being said I have learned how to add shortcuts to my iphone and now i would like to have that same look on my surface pro is there any way to do this?
Thanks for watching! And I'm not familiar at all with Surface Pro unfortunately, but I know Shortcuts is Apple-only.
Awesome video! Apple is such a closed and secure system 😂🤣
Appreciate it!
I can’t believe App Privacy Report wasn’t discussed! It’s insane how many times apps ping home
I had that on my list but cut for time. It gets complicated looking at IP addresses apps are accessing, but will cover in the future!
Is there a shortcut to enable location access on an app basis?
Unfortunately not, you have to manually toggle.
@@beardfm thank you for the reply. So it is not as customisable as Samsung's Modes & Routines.
Why is no one talking about the fact they have a journalling option. Why the f would you directly allow apple to read yr thoughts?
Apple has no access to your Journaling content or entries.
🎉
Appreciate it!
The stolen device protection doesn’t even register my own home as a familiar/significant location. I think that’s a major bug
That's very strange. I do think there needs to be a manual option for adding locations.

Too technical and fast talking! 🙄
