TAILS, the privacy focused Linux distro has released their next major version and I thought that the stars had aligned for me to make this definitive guide for Your privacy and online security with TAILS.
In this age of massive digital tracking, Online Privacy and digital security are extremely important. Every website you visit, every app you open, your phone, they all collect an invasively huge amount of data about you.
From your browser history, your location, your device information, you online habits, these big companies can collect vast amounts of information about you. This is done mainly for the purpose of personalized advertisement, to make money by serving you more relevant ads. But are you ok with someone else knowing where you went yesterday evening, what things you’re looking to buy, who you checked out on social media, some of these companies might know more about you than yourself. Are you ok with that? No right?
So grasshopper, take a seat, buckle up and let me guide you through the zen way of going anonymous online with TAILS.

Does this slow down normal online stuff like banking or ordering something? Can it be used for day to day stuff too? From USB--?

@@LinuxTex Being that the government watches Tor closely, how is privacy possible? Wouldn't someone be better off using chained VPNs, say, one on a host operating system, and another on a virtual machine? You could have a third VPN on a travel router. What do you think? Thank you.

At 8:56, you mentioned that you linked a warning article about using Tails for illegal purposes, but I don't see it here.

Don't expect people to buy your program, if you can't be bothered to reply to questions here.

i got question but i know tails os that doesn't saves anything from your computer and not touching your hard disk either..
My question is: do you recommend using tails as experimenting malicious scripts for Linux? i am just curious how malware works since tails doesn't save files anyway.

Malware works on tails, although you need to install the dependencies to run said malware if it needs any. Personally I'd recommend using a virtual machine, whether it be installed on your PC or a remote connection. Heck, if you REALLY have to, you could install something like REMnux, an OS designed for malware analysis.

@@sotecluxan4221 Checking every line of the code isn't gonna verify anything unless you actually understand what's there. Tails has a good reputation boost (anonymization wise) in the fact that it kept an entire government away from a... bad actor of sorts using it with good opsec. Of course, they got caught, but the exploit used to catch said actor is now patched, and won't work.
