Enjoyed the video! White Pocket is a fascinating place, and you don’t need a permit to explore it. If you are looking for an incredible place to video or photograph, this is the place.
@@PoojaSingh-fb4sl I'm not sure there are recommendations to that fact, but I don't think of it as a dangerous place, that is for the parent to decide. As long as you have a good 4x4 to get there, that is the most treacherous part.
@RoadTripTravel thanks for your reply..we will have a jeep wrangler or similar 4×4 ...I have read so many reviews on people getting lost or getting stuck in sand ...do you think the path is easy to follow? The guided tours are minimum 200$ per person...which comes to 600 for us
Glad you enjoyed! Uh, not sure about a Subaru...might be okay as long as you keep up your speed in those sandy areas. Thanks for watching. If you go back, let me know what you thought and if you made it okay. Cheers, Mike
Hello Mike. I came to this video because it's in ARIZONA. I want to take a trip to Arizona from Pennsylvania. I'm a warm weather person. I want to stay warm through the whole trip (outside weather). Can you recommend a route? When I arrive in Arizona, I want to stay of course where it's warm. 80,90 degrees during the day. At night, 60,70. How can you help me? Thank you.
Hi Curtis, well, I'd head south and then west to avoid the cold. Maybe to Mobile and then west. In the winter it's not 80-90 in the day and 60-70 at night, it's more like 70-75 in the day and 40-50 at night. If you're interested in more Arizona destinations, here is a playlist to check out: ruclips.net/p/PLpwbh-wOxJK2qv_fzqS4R-dT9Peyaawn0 Thanks for watching. Hope you have a good time. Cheers, Mike
@@RoadTripTravel Thank you for the quick response. The weather you mentioned is fine. I can handle that. And your suggestion on heading down to Mobile and then west, was already on my mind. And Thank you also for the other Playlist. Keep up the awesome videos. 👌 👋
@@RoadTripTravel I did it yesterday ! It's one of the coolest places I have been !! The Jeep handled it like a champ. Gmaps does mess up the route though I think cuz the return journey was way easier than when I was going there, during return only thing I had to deal with was sand, while going though there was some actual off roading I had to though.
@@aidanrichardson6120 I don't think I would take the chance, you need a proper 4-wheel drive. The sand can be quite deep in many places. I imagine if you went prepared, with shovel, something to put under the tires, etc. in case you got stuck, you might be able to do it, but I can't recommend it.

This must be a fun and relaxing Arizona Road trip.
The sceneries are magnificent!

Is it recommended to visit this place with a 6 year old without the guided tour?

You will need a 4-wheel drive to get to the trailhead. Take lots of water and don’t go during the summer months, it's too hot.@@PoojaSingh-fb4sl

Nice! I love White Pocket, had some fun in that deep sand with my Rubicon!
Hey Todd...how are ya? Yes, White Pocket is a great place. Oh, a Rubicon would have been the perfect vehicle to take there!
Thank you for this. Awesome video!

Brother, any permits required?
No, not for this area. If you go to the Wave, yes, but not White Pocket.
Do you think I could this in a Jeep Cherokee ?
As long as it is a 4x4, yes. I did this in a F-150 with no lift or special tires.
