There are some comments that make a lot of difference in this recipe. 1. Cook the litti directly on fire. It adds somkeness from cooking of aata. One can use gas tandoor to cook the litti. 2. Magadh region was there in Bihar only but not in U.P. too. Bihar and U.P. as distinct as M.P. and Rajasthan are 😀 so kindly avoid cliche narrative of U.P. Bihar ( as they are same.. both are states have got their uniqueness)
I think it is because of Bhojpuri language. This language is spoken in 6-7 districts of Bihar n 15-18 districts of UP apart from this there is no similarity between these two states.
There is a huge difference in any recipe if you watch from normal channel vs a proper chef's channel. The way they describe everything is just fab. It also gives us a understanding of the dish and enables us to learn "how to cook." Love from Planet Ayurveda.
There are 2 types of litti The one shown in the Kunal sir's video is the dry roasted one and another one is deep fried in refined oil. Both have there distinct taste.. ❤️
Sir nimbu nhi achar optional hai Second thing pani nhi daalte, oil se hi moisture aata hai. Litti and chokha both consume more mustard oil and after roasting litti is soaked up with lots of desi ghee. And chokha is made with aloo baingan and lots of tomatoes not nimbu. I am unable to understand aapki recipe itni different kaise hai
Sir main jab bhi tamatar jaali mein rakhkar pakata hoon toh burner ka holes jaam ho jaata h. Please give any tips how to avoid I am really tired of this. . . Because everytime i make tamatar chutney i have to vlean the burner all which makes not very lovable to cook although everyone loves the taste so much.😢😢❤❤❤❤
I don't like mustard oil in cooking but when I first tried litti chokha, I absolutely loved the taste. Mustard oil actually enhance the taste. We tried to make it at home too that too in appe pan(Mom's idea), it was so easy and perfectly made..also we had 12 in one batch.
Appam Tray use karte aap Sir. usme bhi same like uple wala ki tarah hi banta hai. Uple me jaise litti pakne ke baad phutt jati hai yani cracks aate hain, waise hi appam tray me bhi aate hain. aur usi tarah without greese ke bante hain. But, ab pressure cooker wala hum try karenge.
Boiled Aaloo ko uske chhilke sath roast kijiy, itna carbon aaloo par nhi aata hai aur wahi texture aata jo uple par aaloo bhunne par aata hai. Already tested by me.
I tried this yesterday and it turned out so well. I just used oven instead of cooker but followed the remaining recipe as it was shown here. A must try recipe
Yes the Maurya, Gupta,and the Nalanda dynasty .this is exactly like dall bhati of Rajasthan. stuffed bhati for example. Its made in a special bhati cooker. Awesome

Lekin Jo sawad dung cake or coal par Banta hai uska sawad aur khi nahi milega . Traditional baneye aur khaiye . It tastes amazing
