Music in general man. It is its own language.
In the words of Marty McFly: "This is a blues riff in B. Watch me for changes, and try to keep up."
The key is Brendan knowing how to improvise on her changes. When you learn how to improvise, a whole new world opens up for you.
It's called jamming and musicians have been doing it for years:)
