Don has got such a big mouth and loves stats so much but fails to mention that Newcastle created THE MOST big chances in the league and most of our players were injured all season.
We made two big signings in Barnes and Tonali and both of them missed most of the season.

The problem with the Chelsea model and what Don says is they're not building a team or squad, just buying players.
How do 3 or 4 DMs get enough minutes to improve to sell on or prove themselves, same for wingers?
It only works if you've 2 players per position and they're pushing each other.
Sitting on bench or playing in lower leagues doesn't raise their value.
Looking at Newcastle transfers, they've invested well and pushed on, Chelsea are treading water at best.

Problem that Chelsea will fine in the coming years is finding buyers to flip their players as there is getting a smaller and smaller pool of clubs with money to spend. especially when they are not getting playing time. They will have to sell their stars like Newcastle with bruno and gordon. Big clubs will only be prepared to spend big on players like Palmer. Lavia, enzo mudryk have all gone down in value and will probably want to go abroad if they ever leave and those clubs have no money.

You would never believe that Newcastle finished 27 points ahead of Chelsea and eight places below us the season before last.
Or that they spent one billion pound and could NOT even manage to finish Top 4.
Meanwhile Newcastle got 4th in Howe’s first full season with an extremely weak squad.
Chelsea squeaked past a Newcastle side destroyed by injuries whilst they only played one game a week.

Why would he leave Newcastle to go Chelsea? I know you don't drink so I'm confused. You need to repeat that question to yourself as a young foreigner in England. Who the hell wants to live in Newcastle if London is available. You all have seen countless players chose Chelsea and you still don't get the draw of London to a young man.
As to Newcastle having Saudi ownership and richer than Clearlake, Clearlake has smarter ownership. Yeah, we heard your diatribe about selling Players to the Saudi leagues and loaning them back and price every one out, only problem is it will destroy the league by making them the PSG of the EPL.
The draw is the project of bringing the best talent to the youngest team and most modern organisation in the EPL. It is reported that Olise did chose Chelsea but Chelsea didn't pursue him hard enough and left him hanging plus the Willian signing in the middle of their negotiation hurt Olise's feelings because he saw the future and it was as a back up or on the selling block.

This is genuine delusion. Isak is top of the line in terms of quality. It’s not like Caicedo who had a singular good season at Brighton. If Isak was to move he wouldn’t be going to Chelsea, Chelsea fans have this false sense of reality where they think they are the only club who has the funds to go in for Isak.
