Mumbo, here’s an idea. Use one of your very complicated red stone builds, a hard one. Time yourself building it as compact as possible, then do it again but don’t even try to be compact. If you do a piston door, the main rule is that you can’t go in front of the door itself.

It would have a piston tape cycling the blocks by 1 then it would simply pull them back with double piston extenders maybe? But putting it back is the problem.

Mumbo the build is great and I would love to copy it into a server me and my friends are working on, but you forgot the world download. If you could hit us up with that, that would be great.
I don't think he does that anymore. Whenever he did, people would download the world and reupload them claiming it as their own build. Some even monetize the build. More than likely, he doesn't want to deal with that again.

I'm kinda late here, but yeah there is still no download, but if you search through redstone videos after this one many of them are in the same world, try downloading one of those and flying around to find this door.
Elder Frost holy crap, I forgot about this comment. Yeah he’s made it clear several times since I posted that that he refrains from leaving world downloads because people pirate his content and claim it as their own. It’s really unfortunate.
@@johnnymcdonald6 it is unfortunate, but unless hes somewhat recently gone through and deleted them all, there still should be downloads on some of the videos. I'm not sure... if you want to contact him, twitter is also probably the best option.

Me: haven't tried building a 3x3 piston door forever, and last time I tried, it failed. And now I need to work out how to make this. (*One eternity later*) Ah ha! Now I have got two of the pistons to go at the right time! (*flicks lever again*) Ok. Maybe not.
Are you on bedrock? Java has more issues with locationality and certain chunks being weird, but bedrock is unreliable and reacts with chunk borders more.

You should do that same thing but to make it spawn it honest and with a skeleton or a lizard skeleton head on top to scare people think somebody back is there but then went to me opens it falls to the but letting people close it but sponsor back in with the skull on top and it can also have a Hermosillo there sometime you can look like it's going to shoot somebody but it misses them that would be good for haunted house

Mumbo maybe build a non compacted design first get it working then compact it. Might just save you some headaches but I know you like a chalenge. Love your videos dude thanks so much.
Seth Bling actually made a world edit that works from a data pack. So it should work with most snapshots.

Hey mumbo, I've always had an idea I cant figure out. Maybe you can do it. Its basically a 1×1 elevator. Itd work with 4 pistons stacked on each other. Bottom piston facing up, sticky facing the regular piston. This let's you go up but not down, then a sticky facing up on top of the others with a reglaur piston facing down. This will let you go up and down. I cant get the circuitry right though. Good luck!
