    It's always great to see Randy Guyer and his Mopar collection! He has some of the most obscure cars that one doesn't see everyday. This Chrysler 300 F convertible has a beautiful interior, and that Toreador Red paint job really sets it off. The cross fire 413 engine sounds smooth, and sounds awesome during acceleration. This car is a cool addition to Randy's collection! I love seeing his unique Mopars!

    Spectacular example of this Marque! The big “fish mouth” grill and futuristic styling is so expressive of the era! I’m sure glad folks put the money and effort into making these fresh and new again. I’m always flabbergasted at how the little details get restored…the parts in the interior subject to easy damage by key fobs, fingers, and malt shakes. You must have long blonde hair to drive this, scarf optional. I would drive this, top down, very slowly in a big city street while skyscrapers tower above….with a “Look at me” expression on my face. As always, thanks Lou!

    I love the Chrysler products of the late 1950s and early 1960s. They looked so different and better, IMHO, than other cars. This one is no exception! BTW, my mom had a 1964 Dodge Custom 880 with the pushbutton automatic. By then there was a Park position with a sliding lever under the buttons. Slide to the right and Park was engaged and neutral button depressed and locked out the others. Slide to the left and Park was disengaged and all the buttons worked.

    Chrysler design at its zenith - a Virgil Exner masterpiece. And, as stunning as this F looks, it’s a magnificent driving road car - with its front torsion bar and rear 7-leaf spring suspension
    40% stiffer than the other Chryslers. Tracks wonderfully flat pushing it into curvy mountain roads.

    Bourbon vanilla and cherry isn't only a fantastic ice cream combination.
    Putting the transmission's pushbuttons onto the console instead would have been even cooler. The way the console's ashtray was put in there looks like the designers weren't sure as to if a floor shifter may one day get accomodated by that cut-out.
    Those are even the full cross-rams. They also made half ones. The difference is to be seen by the ribbing of those manifold's runners

    I am not a Chrysler fin car enthusiast but I really like this car. The owner spares no expense getting his cars to perfection. Also this year has the most beautiful taillight incorporation into the fin. I think this was the only year and subsequent years had a really ugly design.

    MEL 383 was the hard core high RPM race motor in 1960.
    In 1960 the only Ford you get with a MEL was a Thunderbird.
    Early drift cars by accident, they ran on tar, very very nicely.

    I disagree about what he said about the late 50s early 60s pushbutton gear selectors not having a “ park” position. NOT true. As a teenager in the mid 70s I had a 1964 Fury convertible. 318 Poly engine, pushbutton transmission. It certainly DID have a “park” position. I dont know what this guy is talking about. Nice car though!

      Chryslers first had a Park pawl on its 1963 models - after the Astradome dash was replaced by a new design. Plymouths and Dodges first had Park pawl on their 1962 dashboards. So Randy’s.comment is accurate for Chryslers up into the 1960s - thru 1962. You are correct in saying the ‘64 Plymouth - actually ‘62 forward - had a sliding Park pawl.

      What is your problem? If you don't like American cars, then don't watch the videos! As Grandma used to say: if you can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all.

      @jerrywarren2007 Год назад

      @@danielulz1640 True, but I want Lou to use his massive skills on great cars. I like my American made Lucid. My dad had nothing but miserable Mopar. One day when getting his Polara worked on he introduced me to the owner of the local dealership in Hingham , MA, Mr. Whipple. He was a nice guy and rand a good operation. He asked me why I didn't like domestics (maybe this was 1971) and a Citroen SM goes by and I said, look at that, some people care about design. His reply was wouldn't it bother you to have to replace the electric window switch? I replied back, no it was worth it to drive something cool. He sank bank in his chair knowing the truth. His cars were crap and the next generation would shun them.

      @@danielulz1640 I have a Lexus LC 500 for the V8 experience and a second generation NSX so I am not always focused on toast. For 22 the Lucid was the fastest ride Motor Trend tested, so a toaster can be really fun and comfy for the family.
